For fcukk sake Why?? |
If I regret ever leaving Naija make I kpai. Una papa. I mean if Naija works for you, good for you. Don't slate people who travelled abroad for a better future. Live your life, let others live theirs. Easy life. |

I'm not religious but I strongly believe other world exists that are beyond human's sense or comprehension |

seunmsg:Nigeria is not immune to global issues but that's just a speck of Nigeria's economic problem. Was Nigeria any much better pre Covid-19 and since the invasion of Ukraine by the deluded Macho man of Russia? Nigeria's crude oil major buyers are focusing their attention on research and development of greener and ecologically friendly sources and they are throwing huge amounts at these projects. By 2040, car manufacturers will be producing nothing but zero-emissions vehicles. Nigeria's demand and supply of crude oil is dropping, while remittance from supplies are being diverted to private pockets. So you're a noisemaker if you challenge your leaders about the mess the country is in? Ok, e go soon reach everybody na, then your eyes will open and realise how deep of a mess you all are. Maybe, just maybe everyone will put bigotry, political controversies and ethnocentrism aside. Don't worry the time is coming. And no, only 51% of the British population identifies as christians but 100% of the British population care not if the Prime Minister worship satan or pray to the lamp post in front of 10 Downing street every morning. |
alphacode:How else should I use the word "we" without sharing opinion which I'm somewhat affected by the subject? And I'm not the only British-Nigerian on here ![]() |
We should have a general election in my opinion, we should choose who we want to be our prime minister but of course I would choose Rishi Sunak over anybody else in the Tories party and I really hope Kemi Badenoch gets an appointment in his cabinet. |
Even your boo get a boo. A boo, a boo. What's that song called again by Harry Song feat. Oxlade and Harry Styles. |
Nuclear armageddon comes as a "breath of fresh air" change from Covid armageddon and should pleasantly see us through to the next global financial and famine armageddon waiting just around the corner. Oh that's if humanity as we know it is not wiped off earth surface by the breath of death. Then that's the ultimate Armageddon. |
fratermathy:Bang on |
But some ignoramus will still spew utter trash about marijuana without doing research of any sort. Organic marijuana is good for you health wise, better than alcohol and cigarettes that are legal and actually bad for health. Lace food with marijuana instead of smoking, use in moderation and enjoy! |
Let's see you live Tinubu. Then we know this is not another scam |
Believe this at your own peril. The guy cannot climb the stairs |
Happy independence Nigeria. I love you Nigera. I love you Nigerians! |
Bbbwings:Kremlin pulled a reverse Robinhood and blocked people from selling Rubles (at least in millions). As a result, companies can’t sell (for stronger currencies), then Gazprom which is Russian majority state owned energy corporation buys up all foreign Rubles, price goes up, making the Ruble a monopoly money. The Ruble is restricted and regulated to the point where it is nearly impossible to trade for other currencies making its price whatever the Kremlin decides. Then again, you can’t compare the Ruble to other currencies e.g USD, EUR, GBP, because comparisons require open trade. My friend there’s no open trade between the Russian Ruble and these major currencies as a result of the inflicted financial sanctions on Russia. At least I expect you to acknowledge the previous sentence as a fact, being a pro-Russian pleb of plebs that you are but if you don't, then.... that's for your ramshackle (chart) logic. |
The Soviet Union disintegrated because they realised that they could not keep up with the west and now Putin has shown that his much vaunted rebirth as a superpower is built on the same ramshackle political and economic system. Russia always was and will be, a backward nation of peasants ruled by ruthless dictators. Politically he has left himself very little room for manoeuvre. If he can't deliver on his "special operation" (which has taken an eventful turn) how can he square that with his people? He is between a rock and a hard place, as the Ukrainians are not going to roll over. They are currently encircling Russian army in Lyman which the Russians contested in May, and they chasing the Russian armies away like stray dogs. Very soon Ukraine will be visiting the areas annexed by Putin's sham referenda and a few tactical nukes are not going to change any of that. |
Haven't used a paper note in a long while. A coin just seem ridiculous! Will collect the fiver coin though if I lay hands on one for as long as it remains a legal tender. |
abbey621:No sir, hurricane is natural phenomenon just like earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Note here that hurricane wind intensities are measured in categories depending on the speed it is travelling at, and numbered. The higher the number the higher the magnitude of devastation and catastrophe it can potentially cause, just like earthquake are measured in magnitude. Mind you, Svante Arrhenius predicted that changes in atmospheric CO2 levels could alter the surface temperature through the greenhouse effect in 1896. It was not until 1938 that another scientist actually connected CO2 increases in Earth's atmosphere to global warming, and global warming didn't become a national problem until 1988. So there are chances that the intensity of Labour day hurricane, Camille, hurricane Andrews and other subsequent hurricanes are reinforced (not caused) by climate change. Maybe increasing their categories as well, I don't know but climate change definitely contributes immensely to their intensities. |
jojothaiv:Hurricanes are given names by weather scientists and other governmental organisations around the world such as the World Meteorological Organisation so that they can keep track of them, communicate about them and so that the general public can use them as a reference point. Remember the infamous hurricane Katrina? |
Michelle70:That's true but climate change acted as a catalyst that fuelled the intensity of the hurricane. The three major components crucial to the formation of a hurricane are light upper winds, warm water and moist warm air. Heat is the fuel that makes hurricanes big and powerful. The temperature of warming sea surface surely plays a role because they provide fuel for hurricanes, which also rely on a moist and unstable atmosphere, all of which are becoming more conducive for aggravation of hurricanes. As humans burn fossil fuels and release enormous amounts of CO2 and other greenhouse gasses, the amount of heat trapped on earth regularly rises. The air gets hotter then the ocean water gets hotter. When a baby hurricane forms in the Atlantic, all that heat is available to help the storm grow. That's the case for the hurricane in Florida. The storm was weak when it first formed but grew quickly as it moved over very hot water in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. |
Iamdolodolo:Generate revenue from illegal drug? You really are dolodolo |
Why would NDLEA burn such evidence. Has the drug baron been arrested, investigated and found guilty before tampering with the evidence? If no arrest and subsequent prosecution has been made, then whatever they burnt is not cocaine. Besides, someone need to lecture these guys about climate change. Surely there must be other (ecologically friendly) ways of destroying "drugs" without burning, damaging an already fragile and vulnerable planet. |
No sympathy whatsoever |
Krismas:Ok Sergey |
Krismas:To point out the barely coherent sentences here in bold: Ukraine conscripts, far more than Russia - Russia has 100 million more people than Ukraine, do the maths Russia merely attempting to call up reservists is a sign of defeat? - What sign is it then? A sign that "Special Military Ops" is going well and as planned? Is that why ordinary Russians are fleeing the country? Try to put your brain to use. The 300,000 new recruits will be poorly trained, poorly armed, poorly kitted out and poorly motivated. If anything, the invasion of Ukraine has exposed how awful the whole Russian army is, and overall how rotten and corrupted their hierarchy is. ”You have been selected to die, please report to blah blah". This will be like squid game but without the price. |
The myth of Putin being some sort of genius playing 4D chess in International Relations is so busted. This is a desperate grasping gangster who’s willing to burn his country to the ground in order to save himself. The man is a clown with a fragile ego who is obviously being deeply troubled by reality biting his fantasies. He thought this could be like another Chechnya or Abkhazia but Ukraine is the biggest country in Europe. He was totally deranged thinking he could go in an annex the country in a matter of days or weeks. Ordinary Russians for the most part have tended to stay out of the corrupt machine that is their government. But that's at least 300,000 more people being dragged into this now. The country desperately needs an uprising despite arrests but if you are off to the front line (and likely to your death) anyway what is a little protest? Or rather an escape for dear life from a tyrannic regime of a soviet imperialist. The soviet union that has kissed the dust never to be united again. |
Just seen this on twitter and I think it is absolutely ridiculous. With the Nigerian economy currently taking a nose dive at God-Knows miles per hour and people struggling to keep afloat. Why would a presidential candidate in their right mind think a strategic way to raise campaign fund is to force transport workers to pay #500 for campaign stickers that they don't want anyway. This is wrong on so many levels and as someone who has always been on the sideline when it comes to politics in Nigeria, I believe beyond reasonable doubt that if this kind of candidate gets the key to the No1 office of the country, then everyone in that country is doomed. No soothsayer needed to ascertain that. https://twitter.com/gameshost3/status/1572235489746321409?s=20&t=V7ZmRz9D5ba18P0EvFx3LQ |

VULCAN:I'll address the bolded: 1. Did the guy tell you that he asked the girl out? I did not say the guy asked the girl out. There's element of assumption in what I wrote. 2. Splitting the bill is a western custom. Yes that's what I'm accustomed to. 3. If you have lived abroad you would understand Same as above. 4. It's ignorance to say the guy is broke because he paid only his bill. I did not say the guy is broke. I used a word there "MOST LIKELY". Means its probable, not certain. 5. The way you sound makes you appear a simp. Yes every ragtag and bobtail throws the word "SIMP" around these days. Jesus! 6. Is paying for a girls food an achievement? No sir it's certainly not and I didn't mention or insinuate anything like that. 7. Isn't that what all men in Naija have been doing even before you were born? Erm. I'll have to confirm that with my uncles back home. |
Exxxgeee:The same rule that says you can be an absolute incomprehensible dunce and still have a worried opinion over a very trivial matter. |
