A Durban based man and a Twitter user, @VJBritemnLive who invited her girlfriend to his house for the first time ever is mad at mad at her for spending time at his place and leaving without washing the dishes.

A United Kingdom based woman on Twitter identified as Nonye Biko who is as a financial analyst and a Ph.D certified psychologist is of the opinion that homosexuality is more of a psychological issue.

The male is biologically designed to possess sexual affinity towards the female, and vice versa. With the penis and the vagina working towards the ultimate goal of procreation. Anything else is nothing but sensationalized psychological incongruity.

It is arguable that a female finds other females more sexually attractive than males. A lot of you may not know this but scientifically, as developing embryos, we're all female until the Y chromosome kicks in. This is also why you guys also have nipples but no use for them.

The anus wasn't designed for arrivals but departures. Also, if you're a man who genuinely fancies inserting your penis into your lady's anus, I hate to break it to you but you might have some docile homosexuality tendencies.

This, among many other reasons is why I tag homosexuality as more of a psychological issue than anything else. You only feel like you want to be with men because that's what your mind is telling you. You'd never see a male dog go to another male dog. Why? No mind to think that.

At the end of the day, we're all living, natural beings. And nature only demands that we stay true to our biological setup. If you genuinely feel you're incapable of doing that, then that, is in fact an issue. One you need help for. Calling a spade for what it is. Don't overthink

This isn't something you get to choose to be. It's not a choice. Neither is one made to be that way. Civilization has managed to make a lot of anomalies seem "okay". That is going against science. Which is the bedrock of human civilization as we know it. The paradox.

Basically all of man's greatest problems stems from the undying urge to change the status quo. Those that need changing and those that absolutely have no business being changed.

A Nigerian man has criticised women who heed the advice of successful women like Beyonce, Cardi B, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

He said the aforementioned women come out to advise other women on how to run their relationships and marriages, but they do not live by their own advice, instead, they go home and "swallow all sorts of crap from their spouses" to keep their relationships, whereas the women who take their advice end up with broken relationships.

A Nigerian lady who suffers birth intrauterine contraceptive device complications has taken to her Facebook page to share her story.

"Sometimes things happens in your life and you dont know why. You question yourself why me or what did i do to deserve this?
But what you should be asking is what can i learn from it. Im finally coming out to tell my story because i feel like i can help someone.

Im not here for people opinions but to simply tell my story. Six weeks after i had my daughter i was offered by the doctors a form of birth control called the IUD. I accepted because i was told that it was safe and it was he best type. It had never gave me any problems up until November of 2017. I had it for 3 years so far. I was told that it is good for 5 years. I went to my yearly check up in October and i was asked about birth control and i told that i had an IUD.

They checked and told me that they couldnt find an IUD and that it may have fell out but i knew for a fact that wasnt the case. They sent me to get two types of ultrasounds the same day and i was told once again that they didnt see an IUD. One day jn the beginning of November i was at work i had a sharp pain and the bottom right of my stomach and the first thing that popped in my head was is this that IUD? But i tried to brush it off but the pain was getting worse. I left work 3 hours early to go to the hospital.

I went to the hospital and i told them what was going on and what the doctors was telling me so they immediately sent me to get an Xray done. The doctor came in the with a weird look on her face and said the IUD is definitely in there but its pushed up in your stomach so you will have to get surgery. She told me to call my OBGYN to schedule a date. I went and talked to my OBGYN, told him everything that was going on and even showed him the Xray picture that they allowed me to take. So he also said i have to get surgery. So i asked him how would they have to get it out and he told me they would cut me right under my belly button and use a scope. On December 13th i went in to get the procedure done. Instead of 1 , i was cut 3 times. One under my belly button and one on each of my side. They was able to get it out but it was broken into pieces.

I was told that it had moved up to my liver. When i left the hospital i was bleeding but my mom was told that it was normal. Over night i begin to bleed heavier and the pain got worse. I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and once i got to the hospital my mom told the doctors everything that was going on. They rushed me to xrays done and then rushed me to surgery. I was bleeding internally. After the surgery my mom was told that when they open me up, my ovaries was black and that they had to give me a hysterectomy.

After the surgery i went into septic shock causing me to be in ICU for a few weeks. I died on that surgery table. While in ICU my organ began to fail. I was on a breathing machine, i was on dialysis cause my kidneys wasnt working right. Everythint that could possibly go wrong went wrong. My parents was told that i was the worst patient on the floor and that they didnt think i was going to make it. But with faith and God the prayers that everyone sent out, i am here today. Next week i have to get myself prepare again for a second surgery to get my toes amputated by i swear i came so far and im not letting anything stop me."

A member of National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) identified as Hilda Eva Amadi has been reported dead after being injured during a "Man o War" drilling exercise in the ongoing orientation camp at Yikpata camp in Edu local government council of Kwara State.

Eva, an Oil and Gas graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, fell from the string while participating in the drilling exercise.

According to online reports, she was rushed to the NYSC clinic at the camp for medical attention, where she was allegedly attended to by corps members who are medical personnel at the clinic. She was later transferred to General Hospital in Ilorin for further medical attention and that was where she was passed away.

The state Public Relations Officer of the NYSC, Mr. Oladipo Morakinyo, has confirmed the death of the Corps member.

A Nigerian businessman based in Aba, Abia State has given scholarship to a boy from a poor family. Taking to his Facebook page, Chinonso Anudu revealed that the young boy, whom he met in April has been enrolled in the same school attended by his own children.

Alarmed over the rate of infidelity among women in the state, an angry Nigerian man, Thomas Thomas is calling for the reintroduction of Ekpo-Nka-Owo', the spirit that checks and punishes infidelity in marriage across Annang Ibibio land of Akwa Ibom State.

Do you know that over 40 percent of children born by married women are gotten from men who are not their real husbands? Do you know that married women of nowadays are too promiscuous, loose, and shamelessly addicted to sex? Sincerely speaking, a majority of married women are engaging in extra-marital relationships with pride and impunity. The question is: Why?

Findings show that some married women are greedy and mundane. Some are sexually unsatisfied, hence their resorting to sleeping with men indiscriminately. The most annoying aspect of this is that some of them are even sponsoring their extramarital partners from the money they get from their legitimate husbands. Some of them even sit in the presence of their husbands to send recharge cards to their illegitimate lovers.

I am very bitter, and that is why I am writing down this bitter and unarguable truth. Many women of today have disgraced their husbands with impunity. They don’t mind sleeping around with men in the neighborhood; they don’t mind paying a fortune to their illegitimate partners; they don’t mind abandoning their homes, so far as they get what they want.

Some of them even befriend (or should I say ‘be-sex’) married men. They don’t mind destroying others homes or destroying theirs, with their waywardness. I know one who took her boyfriend’s children to her home for a holiday, and lied to her husband that they are her godchildren. The husband, as innocent as he was, and being a generous person, accommodated the children, and even shopped for them at the end of their stay.

With the trickery, the husband never suspected anything whenever the biological father of the children would come around, because his wife had lied about the relationship that existed between her and the man (god-husband and god-wife, perhaps).

I pity husbands who work offshore. I pity husbands whose wives travel far to buy wares for sales. Some even spend weeks in Dubai, Kano, Lagos, etc. Some lie that they have travelled out, when infact, they are actually within proximity of their husbands and families, but with other men. I know of a female lecturer in one of the higher institutions in Nigeria, who gives out her body to her male students.

Some married women be-sex their drivers, house-helps, servants, gardeners, gate-keepers, etc. What a world! Bankers, (especially the ‘executive harlots’ called ‘marketers’, seem to be the most promiscuous. They openly solicit and fall cheaply for their male customers.

Though I have mentioned this before, let me emphasize here that housewives who call themselves traders, (especially those who spend nights on the road), are even worse. They often befriend their drivers, or anyone else, and have ready excuses for their husbands. Some pretend to go to Church, while in the actual sense, they are on a mission to sleep with their lovers.

Some even ‘be-sex’ Pastors, and other top members of the ecclesiastical hierarchy. Those who call themselves ‘politicians’ are devils. Their buttocks are their political weapons or political credentials. This set of women sees and uses their buttocks as political weapons to scheme out rivals, and bring political giants to their knees; in utter disregard for their husbands, their matrimonial vows and their homes. It annoys me most to see wives of the rich, including wives of Commissioners, Pastors, Heads of Parastatals, Heads of Institutions, etc, engaging in dirty and illicit affairs. A friend of mine (name withheld) is currently dating the wife of a Local Government Chairman. It is not that the Local Government Chairman in question is old. He is equally a young man; but why his wife goes about doing what she is doing, is what I cannot understand.

Housewives who are financially buoyant; and who have successful businesses, or head government institutions shock me the most. Do you know that they buy cars, build houses, and even shop lavishly for their usually younger illegal sex partners?

I went to interview a woman the other day in the Federal Secretariat along Abak Road in Uyo; and she tried to seduce me. The way she carried her face, her gestures, her unnecessary smiles, etc. At the end of the day, she asked if I wouldn’t mind paying her regular visits in the office and at home so that she could “relate any available information to me”.

My colleague Nsikak Etuk (and GLOBAL CONCORD’S Features Editor), had a similar, yet more direct encounter. He had been invited for the first time by a married woman and senior government functionary to her office in the State Secretariat. She had been reading his columns and corresponding with him, building in him the trust that she was truly progressive, but inspite of never seeing him physically, she developed an unhealthy interest in him. When she saw him for the first time in her office, her self-composure gave way, as she attempted to seduce him forcefully.

It took Nsikak’s moral strength to rebuff her and invent a reason to discontinue with the interview. After his escape, he distanced himself from her by ignoring her calls and text messages. Most married women are indeed a shame to their husbands!

I have come to realize that one of the reasons which drive many women into extramarital affairs is the fact that most men do not have time for their wives; and think that giving them money and whatever they want is the only thing they can do for them. I have also come to realize that many men befriend their businesses and offices, to the detriment of their houses and wives.

Some of them are equally guilty of promiscuity as they chase all manner of women. Many women also hold the view that their men cheat on them and so they have a right to also cheat on such men in revenge. That is nonsense! I am not in any way encouraging adultery or sexual promiscuity of any kind, but then the truth is that our society frowns more at promiscuous, loose, and wayward women, than it does men of similar traits.

For instance, if a young man befriends all the young girls in the neighborhood, everybody (including the women), will hail him as a strong man (whatever that means); but if a young girl or woman is seen or suspected to befriend more than one boy or man (even if they are not resident within the neighborhood), she will be scorned, despised and christened a ‘prostitute’. So it would be laughable, for any woman to stupidly and shamelessly try to argue revenge or any other reason as a defense for her waywardness.

Our society approves of polygamy and disapproves of polyandry (a situation where a woman marries more than one husband). It could even be said that our society does not recognize the latter. I am therefore of the very strong opinion that Ekpo-Nka-Owo should be reintroduced into our matrimonial homes, because too many women of this day and age have become a disgrace to their husbands, children, families, relatives, friends, acquaintances, and society in general."

A man who visited Nigeria and spent 4 weeks has narrated his observations regarding the way women are treated in the country.

A Nigerian woman and a restaurant owner identified as Peniel Chris Enwenwen, in Rivers states took to her Facebook page narrates how depressed she was after she was confronted with bills worth millions of Naira by FIRS.

"This morning I had a minor melt down on WhatsApp. I felt like the world was ending for me. I felt so alone, depressed, tired, sleepy and frustrated.

I walked into my restaurant at about 8am and power was out. Everywhere was hot and abit dark, I walked into my office, said a short prayer and looked on my desk.... there were some nearly arranged papers staring at me, I picked them up and behold BILLS!!! FIRS stopped by and left a letter saying I was owing taxes to the tune of N2.1m with a turnover of N18m in 2018(who declared it for them).

I just tossed it aside. Security company dropped April Bill, Port Harcourt city council dropped tenement rate Bill of N500k, same council dropped projection bill of N20k and then offcourse fresh NEPA bill of N72,000

I just exhaled, gathered them neatly and put inside my desk drawer. I was angry! Tears streamed down my face. I kept hissing!

My 16.5kva Generator recently shutdown (I worked the life out of the generator) repairer gave me bill of N135k, we fixed it and barely one month later, it packed up again, another bill was brought for N235k to buy parts and fix, I just ignored it, borrowed a smaller gen from home and started managing. I couldn't afford the gen.

Now this is not a spiritual problem, it's very physical. I brought out my books and started looking at expenses. almost every month we are paying one government levy, bills, fixing one broken thing or the other.

In one minute, all I wanted to do was give up. I just wanted to pack up and go home. Let me not even get started on how my land lady stalked me till I paid my rent. She literally called me every day, paid me unannounced visits and took every last cent even when I pleaded for more time.

Now you see, I keep asking, how are small businesses managing?? We cannot even boast of 4 hours of steady power daily. Did I mention the restaurant is in GRA? IT'S A SHAME!

Customers walk out because the ACs are not fully functional. Sales are fickle. Who will save the small businesses. Banks are asking for our ancestors and are not willing to help

Grateful for the friends who kept encouraging me to forge ahead. Funke left all she was doing this morning, came over, sat in my hot store turned office and said DON'T CLOSE DOWN. Those were the words I needed to hear.

I work hard, too hard somedays, and the government stretches their hands to collect all the time.

Ive decided, I have to make a Change in our country."

A man died in a car accident which occurred on Sunday evening in Delta state.

The man was driving a private Toyota Corolla when it crashed somewhere between Urhonigbe and Obiaruku in Ukwuani local government area of Delta state.

Photos of the mangled car and the man's body has been shared online in order to reach his relatives.

A UK-based Zimbabwean man who poisoned himself recorded himself. According to the man, his wife, a Zimbabwean lady whom he has been with for past 19 years and he took to United Kingdom decided frame him by accusing him of attempted murder.

In his five minutes video, the man said “lots of having been their women in the United Kingdom because the government support the women so much which made the Zimbabwean women to take law into their own hands such that my wife I have been with for the past 19 years is accusing me of attempted murder which has made his life a living hell in the country which made him think of taking Poison.”

A Nigerian lady identified as Sarah died recently while giving birth. The baby who is, said to be a girl survived. She was laid to rest in her hometown last Wednesday, April 18.

According to the lady who shared the story, she wrote;

According to the lady who narrates the story, her cousin who promised to marry his girlfriend got beaten by Nigerian Mobile Police (MOPOL) sent by the girlfriend because he was trying to dump her.

In 1990, Martha Eyong, a Cameroonian, was 16 years old when she came to Nigeria to write the West African School Certificate Examination (WASC) in Calabar, Cross River State.

According to a report by Daily Trust, the young woman had come in the company of few friends who were also natives of Cameroon to write the same examination. But four days after their coming and having written some papers, Martha’s path crossed that of one Alhaji Aliyu Ameh, who allegedly hypnotised her with a powdery substance and took her away, first to Lagos and then to settle with him in Otukpo, Benue State.

Ameh was alleged to have raped his victim and put her in the family way while ensuring that no one had close relationship with her over the years as he kept an eye on her and the two children produced from the unlawful union. Luck, however, ran out on him last week when he was apprehended by the police at a court premises where he had dragged a certain individual to on account of his closeness to his ‘wife’.

The State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, who paraded the alleged abductor before newsmen at the police headquarters in Makurdi, said the man would be charged to court for kidnapping and rape of a female victim. “The victim, a Cameroonian, came to Nigeria in 1990 to write WAEC. While with her friends, she came across an elderly man who bought food for her and hypnotised her. She had given him children in the process. Her father had been looking for his daughter for the past 28 years. The abductor kept her in a way that no one could reach her,” Owoseni said.

The police commissioner added that someone who she narrated her predicament to, helped to trace her family which subsequently led to the arrest of the man in Makurdi early last week. Corroborating the police, Martha, who said her abductor changed her name to Sabina Ameh, said the incident happened on the fifth day of her arrival to Calabar for the examination when the man came by her side and ordered her to look at him.

She added,
“He asked what I wanted to do with the N20 in my hand and I said I wanted to buy food, he collected the money and bought food for me, then he poured a substance like powder in a handkerchief which he sprayed in my direction and ordered me to follow him. “And that was how I did whatever he said.

I followed him to wherever he wanted, he took me to Lagos, I had to ask someone when he was not watching where I was and I was told it was Lagos. I begged him to take me back to my parents in Cameroon, he agreed and the next day I found myself somewhere I did not know and when I inquired someone told me I was in Agila in Benue State.

“Whenever he realizes that I’m in my senses and asked questions, he would repeat the handkerchief spray on my face, then I will begin to do exactly what he wanted. He forcefully slept with me most nights and he prevented everybody in the village from talking to me.

It was when I got pregnant that he brought me to Otukpo,” the woman narrated. Martha, now 44, said the man threatened to kill her severally if she divulged any information to anybody, adding that with time, she began to sell firewood to support her domestic needs until recently when she tricked him that she was going to the market but instead went for prayers at a church in Otukpo. She said the pastor at the church revealed everything about her life to her to the extent of addressing her by her real name which no one there knew, adding that it was there she met a footballer who often go to Cameroon and helped to traced her family.

According to her, one of her daughters has already graduated from the university while the other one is currently a student of the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi. The elated woman who was all over her father at the police premises in Makurdi said she could no longer speak her native Cameroonian language but now speaks Idoma fluently after being in captivity for 28 years.

The victim’s father, Eyong Michael, 76, who said he worked as a senior staff of the Ministry of Transport in Cameroon, resorted to prayers after his daughter failed to come back after the exams in 1990. He came to Nigeria severally to look for her but to no avail.
“I’m a very happy man today. I thank God for reuniting me with my daughter. All I want now is for justice to take its course; the abductor should not be granted bail. I plead with the Nigerian government to ensure he faces the consequences of his action. As for my grand children, I’m prepared to take them back to Cameroon,” Eyong concluded.

A Nigerian lady on Twitter has taken to the micro-blogging platform to accuse an international transportation network company of not taking any action about her friend’s assault case.

According to the friend of the lady, the victim took a taxify cab from Somolu to Magado, Phase 2. The driver went offline and charged her six thousand naira which made her to request for the receipt but the taxify driver refused.

The Lagos State Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) today said it received 138 cases of domestic violence against men from May 2017 to March 2018.

Adeniji Kazeem, Lagos State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, made the disclosure at the 2018 Ministerial Press Briefing to mark three years in office of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

Kazeem noted that 30 cases against men were reported from May 2016 to April 2017. He said that a total number of 1,771 cases of domestic and sexual violence were reported during the period under review.

He advised members of the public to dial the helpline – #6820# to report cases of violence for prompt and appropriate action. On the Lagos State DNA and Forensic Centre, established in September 2017, Kazeem said that the centre had received 316 inquiries and had over 71 active cases bothering on homicide, rape, toxicology, child trafficking, serology and others.

He said that the Special Task Force Against Land Grabbers received 1,300 petitions out of which 855 were concluded and 530 pending. ”In the period under review, 35 suspected land grabbers were arrested and 26 criminal prosecution cases are ongoing,” he said.

The commissioner said that the Special Offences Court (Mobile Court) recorded an increase in the number of offenders arraigned in the period under review compared to the figure of the previous year. He said that 8,380 offenders were arraigned in the period under review for parking on walkways and yellow lines, use of BRT lanes, hanging on tailboard of moving vehicles, driving against traffic and some other offences.

Kazeem said that the Office of the Public Offender received 4,282 petitions to provide legal aid to residents especially the less privileged and the vulnerable. He said that 2,264 of the petitions had been concluded while others were still at various stages of review, investigation and conclusion.

According to him, through the efforts of the office, N5.7 million was received on behalf of petitioners. ”The office also took up cases of 262 inmates at Badagry, Kirikiri and Ikoyi Prisons while five children, who were discovered at Ikoyi Prison, were transferred to appropriate homes and eventually released from custody,” he said.

The commissioner said that the Rapid Tax Prosecution Unit of the state, in collaboration with the state Internal Revenue Service, ensured that tax payers complied with tax laws. He said that the unit filed 327 cases at the high court, prosecuted tax defaulters and generated over N107 million for the state government.

He also said that the Citizens’ Mediation Centre, saddled with the responsibility of providing free legal services to residents, received 47,292 cases during the period under review, out of which 25,191 cases had been resolved. According to him, the centre achieved settlement of debt-related matters between parties in the sum of N1.4 billion within the period under review.

The commissioner said that 2,249 offenders were sentenced to community service for various offences, and that the sentences were served in various public institutions. He said that no fewer than 40 inmates who, had spent from 20 years to 34 years in custody, were released by Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode based on recommendation of the Advisory Council on Prerogative of Mercy.
