Thats speculating, if INEC had done the right thing we'd have known for certain if he won the election or not.
Everybody knows for certain he lost the election…everybody using his brain not those who think emotionally. Obi and PDP lost the election the day he left PDP. I give it to him, he tried but you cannot divide the opposition into 4 significant camps, Atiku, obi, Kwakwanso and Wike . And expect to defeat the incumbent not party. Another example of you guys always thinking with your hearts not your heads.

APC got 15.1m votes in 2019, in 2023 they got only 8.7m. Tinubu lost Lagos, he lost Kano, he lost Kaduna, the evidence suggests that Nigerians rejected APC. Nigerians did their bit, the problem is you snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by splitting up. You never approach politics using your brains…that’s why you lost. And you clearly are not ready to learn either.

Read this and let it sink in.
The results of he election in 2019 was APC 15.1m. PDP 11.2m. In 2023 it was APC 8.7m, PDP 14.5m. PDP won and APC lost, the problem is PDP split up into factions so the 14.5 m was not aggregated in one party but 3 separate parties of 6.9m, 6.1m. And 1.5m non of which was large enough to catch APC despite them losing over 6M votes.

I repeat APC lost over 6million votes and still won…just showing how stupid you people were.

INEC shows APC lost over6 million votes, it’s not INEC’s fault the opposition could not get their act together!

Take responsibility for your political miscalculation.

What access does a minor have to Jamb systems to engage in a fraud of this nature, even to use it to claim highest score? Any theif knows the secret to not getting caught is not standing out. So why will a theif give herself the highest Jamb score. I hope you also read the statment from Innoson group that they verified her result on Jamb portal before acknowledging her. Evidence of this verification is all it takes in court.

Jamb IT technician can go do whatever they like in the back end at any time they like. QR code can be changed by an insider to point to anybody on Jamb data base. Does this girl has access to make this kind of change in Jamb system ab-initio- No. If she does then jamb is a failed organisation. Does Jamb have access to mordify her database codes and correct percieved errors post event - Yes they do. They are just trying to confuse people with technical jargon about there database. Their system is not static, they maintain and mirdify it all the time and its not error proof.

For me this is painful cause a family member suffered this kind of injustice from WAEC in the 70s. Being the star student of his school. The rival school principal was sent for invigilation during WAEC. The man knew he was the smartest in School. Went to his desk during exams and starting searching. Found a discarded newspaper that was used in eating bean cakes by someone in the desk locker that was randomly assigned to him. Claimed he was cheating from newspaper piece that was not related to the subject. Everyone felt he was joking, and it was a none issue. Teachers argued with him and forgot it. At the end of exams, he made complete distinction and was being celebrated before resilts were officially published. Only for rival school principal to go to WAEC with his akara newspaper story. WAEC siezed his result, his school principal did everything, carrying every one of his past results of consistently being the school's best to WAEC, to no avail till today. He lost the federal scholarship for distinction students to study abroad.

If its in todays world my family would have gone to court. But back then the only well educated person in the family who would know what to do was a distant uncle who had never been back from UK in ages.

Spare this kid, such a traumatic experience. JAMB had better look into why their database was throwing out false results if they claim its false.
My friend, you just typed a whole bunch of nonsense. Thank God the JAMB spokesman who came on channels is not Hausa or Yoruba. The evidence jamb presented is unimpeachable.

1. They stopped using that sort of result sheet since 2021
2. The new one is unforgeable because it has security features so she printed the old one.
3. She repeatedly sent texts requesting her result to jamb and jamb repeatedly sent her her true result of 240, it’s there in the text logs. She was fully aware she got 240
4. She forgot to alter her date of birth in the fake result she presented.
5. She may look innocent but she is not a small girl, she is 19 years old. At 19 years old I was in my 4th year in university, having sex, smoking cigarettes, drinking beer, Tippexing the expired vehicle documents for my car (if you know what tippex is) and generally getting up to no goodr.

Oga please stop all this sentiment because she is Ibo. She is clearly an intelligent girl going by her past school records but trust me, intelligent students can also be very crafty. I was a very intelligent student but I also used my intelligence in negative ways. Intelligent people have a tendency to look for loopholes and exploit them to break the rules.

I hope JAMB understands they are making claims and judgement against a minor. The implications will affect her life for a very long time.

When Jamb is sued and it is ever proved that this minor is not directly respondible for whatever they are claiming, the compensation for child truma, reputation damage, career impedance, social injustice will run into billions because each factor will be multiplied by average human lifespan -16 years. (80-16= 64 years)

So assuming this whole issue can prevent this girl from future employment in shell Nigeria. Thats Shell average Annual Salary (N30 million X 64 years)=N1.92 billion. Lets be guided.

I expect her family lawyers to do the needful. She is already suffering the damage so nothing more to loose.
I hope you understand that this is fraud. Some poor student deservedly got the highest result for Anambra state and this girl is trying to steal her glory.

DoTheNeedful:
It's funny how the LP and PDP are sensationalizing the proceedings of the court without looking at substance. What dominated the LP and PDP social media space yesterday was that INEC witnesses failed to show up in court. Whereas, an INEC witness showed up in court against the petition of the PDP, he provided the AWS cloud-trail log showing that there was no human intervention in the so-called technical glitch that occurred on the election day. INEC also showed publication they made before the election informing everyone that they might not transmit results electronically.

The way LP and PDP supporters made it seem on social media was that INEC was finding it difficult to defend themselves and their witnesses could not show up because of that grin. The only witnesses that failed to show in court yesterday were the ones that were supposed to testify against LP, and they will be showing up today.

I hope when the court give judgement in favour of the status quo, some of them would not come out to say APC bribed the judges. The opposition are giving the whitewashed version of events in the court. Their lawyers are playing to the gallery, always addressing the media and making outlandish claims. APC and Tinubu lawyers on the other hand rarely address the press.
This is why they keep losing elections, they deal in sensationalism and emotion and not substance and strategy. Have you noticed that since it became harder to rig elections PDP and it’s associates have found it difficult to win elections? The opposition joined forces to defeat you and You think the best way to defeat them is to divide yourselves into 4 factions and go your separate ways.

INEC lawyers are clueless. Nobody is talking about electronic collation. Real time transmission of photographed or scanned results sheet into irev is for cross checking the manually collated results and no final announcement is to be made until they tally, that was what delayed announcement in Abia and Enugu guber Elections
Why do you people like to waste your energies and effort of fruitless ventures? This is how you based your who petition in 2019 on Bihari’s certificate when the law clearly states he does not need WASC if he has higher qualifications or work experience?

The matter of IREv has been settled in the case of Adelekan and Osun state. Irev is merely a viewing platform for the public, it has no legal implications for the results or collation of results. It is not even admissible in court. The basis of collation and determination of the result of an election is the EC8 forms. THIS HAS BEEN DETERMINED BY THE SUPREME COURT. Irev has no locus standi in court because the EC8 is the basis for whatever is or is not on IREV. All this noise about Irev, you are just wasting your time.

If you want to show you won, you have to show the physical EC8 results or BVAS, those are the only evidence that any election petition will entertain…please educate yourselves. It’s the law.

Family › Re: To The Married; Does Money Bring Happiness In A Marriage? by casualobserver: 3:28pm On Jul 03, 2023
I know money brings COMFORT in all form, marriage inclusive but does it bring HAPPINESS along?
Like does being married to a man rich automatically makes a woman a happy woman? Will it make the marriage a happy marriage? A happy home for the kids etc. I know the wife of a rich man would quite be comfortable compared to that of a low income earner.

She can easily outsource whatever she needs thereby making her comfortable in her home. From washing machine, maids, full dstv subscription, driver, Gateman, shopping, vacation and all good things that money can buy; does all these bring true happiness?

When a distance sister of mine got married to her husband years ago, we were definitely not too happy for her. We thought she'd suffer in a marriage without finance. The truth is they still have finance issues till now, but not something beyond their power.
It's close to 10 years now and I realise she is happy there, herself and her husband are low income earners yet they found happiness in each other. See her looking younger than her age with two kids to show for it.

I have also come to realise(from observation) that most times, it's likely for a woman to eventually marry a low or average income earner(as against the illusion of a millionaire husband). As long as the woman has something doing, they usually end up doing well. You see them looking better than they were when they both got married cheesy lol
Seems like a good marriage brings out the beauty of both sexes, little wonder why young ladies dont mind dating married men grin

So married men and women, what is your take on this? Does money bring happiness in marriage? Is finance all about the comfort it can bring?
Let singles like me learn something new
Money does not guarantee happiness but the lack of it guarantees unhappiness.

*** note: definition of money in this context is the ability to provide and do the needful.

Yes sir, flawed can mean that the purported "winner" did not actually win the election.

It depends on the extent of the imperfection.
If the imperfection means manipulation of figures for a particular candidate
denying citizens from voting for their candidate if it's not the "winner"
and so doing preventing other candidates from getting votes,
and also threatening people but to vote for a particular candidate,
Then yes, it means that the "winner" was not validly elected.

And let me just divert, the US election was perfect. They recounted votes in disputed places on live TV when Trump went to court and found it the exact same.

No dey cap dust.
This was the fairest election in the country since 1999. The opposition lost because they were daft, unstrategic, driven by ego and not strategic thinking. Tinubu got 8.7m votes, the opposition got almost 15m. APAC got 14m votes in 2019 and got only 8.7m this time, how does an incumbent “rig” an election and lose 6m votes? You lost the election because you could not unite among yourselves and divided your house into Atiku, Kwakwanso, Obi and G5 factions. You lost because of your stupidity not because of INEC. APC has no business winning a presidential election after 8 years of Buhari, they won because of your stupidity, the same stupidity you are still exhibiting! You split yourselves into 4 groups, if just 2 of those 4 groups had aligned, Tinubu would have lost.

This is not on INEC, this is on the opposition. Own your stupidity!!!! Own it!!!

But APC thinks it can be a judge in its own case.

EU Observers said the election was flawed.

US Observers said the election was flawed.

Commonwealth Observers said the election was flawed.

AU Observers said the election was flawed.

Nigerian Civil Society Organizations said the election was flawed.

The generality of the Nigerian people said the election was flawed.

Only Tinubu and his horde of Agbado Munching Vuvuzelas and their criminal INEC think otherwise.

My happiness is that the world knows what happened and who the majority are. And the judiciary is further put on the spot with the myriads of cases going on in court. Let’s see if they will look at us and the world in the face and tell us that the majority is wrong and minority right.

Will the minority get away with their robbery? We await!

All eyes on the judiciary.
Excuse me, do you understand the meaning of flawed? Flawed simply means not perfect. Now, does an election that was not perfect mean the winner was not validly elected? Was the election that put Biden in office perfect? Does the result reflect the overall wish of the people?

What matters is that the outcome of an election is credible and reflects the will of the voters. A flawed election can be credible, this election was credible. Give Obi the entire votes of Rivers and Lagos, will he have won? No!!! Is this not the same “flawed” election that produced a result of 90% for OBI in the SE? Tinubu did not get 90% in anywhere in his own base, Atiku did not get 90% anywhere in his base, So what are we talking about here?

Average9jaman:
I beg to differ that subsidy is one of the reasons for hardship in the country, though I agree with you about bad forex management.

The number 1 reason for the hardship is bad governance followed by extreme corruption and weak rule of law

If you have been following happenings in recent times the level of theft, looting, diverting funds has been on a monumental scale, some ministries exist for the purpose of siphoning large amounts of public resources, government officials loot with reckless abandon because there are no repercussions for their crimes, like that previous humanitarian woman, sadia - just to mention 1 among many and 95% of them are walking around scot free

If corruption and looting of public funds is adequately plugged in all MDAs(the root cause of our problems), the amount of money realised will equate or exceed the money going to subsidy, those monies can now be used to invest in infrastructure, healthcare, education and so on

We all agree that subsidy should go, however, concrete measures MUST be put in place to avoid the effects that we are seeing, it should follow a Carefully planned framework to minimise the negative impact on the economy, subsidy removal should be a gradual thing and not overnight without any consideration for the brutal aftereffects

We don't even know if the money being saved from subsidy will be used to align the pockets of a select few - as usual
