The high level of deliberation and consciousness (political) leaders of the nation perfect their rapaciousness and various crimes in broad daylight is a telling signal that the country is heading to the dusts.

There's no need trying to claim father's land blah blah blah. Wherever you find peace and have rest of mind is truly your father's land. And if living in diaspora can fulfill that hope, it is a great joy and a welcome development. Better to live in a foreigner's land and achieve your dream than in a third world nation you claim citizenship by birth but have nothing to boast of.

We do like to think that with the power of positive thinking, a positive mindset, discipline, determination, consistency, everyone can achieve whatever they desire. To some extent it's true but there are more to it.

Genetics (IQ, immune system, facial outlook, height), socioeconomic status, family background, race, country, politics, economy, are an important determinants more than positive mindset on how successful every individuals will turn out. What about unforseen circumstances like sickness, war, natural disasters, fire outbreak, accidents.

This is a sad reality the populations of humans are oblivious to. Humans that are highly successful are those that were favoured on the positive side of the aforementioned factors. The majority at the bottom of the hierarchy always think those at the top got there by a positive mindset which is false.
And after adhering to a positive mindset with nothing in return, many do resort to criminal activities while others finds solace in religion.

Imagine in a third world poverty nation like Nigeria, where the only mode of escape out of penury, pain, hunger, useless politics is via the internet (either for good or bad purpose). What then would have happened to the entire population had it been the internet is absent?

Only few will eventually struggle their way through to the top(even the top got categories. LoL)! While the majority will never make it except by pure serendipity. Acknowledging this with a weak heart can either drive one to misanthropic, nihilistic or pessimistic tendencies.
