Emily22:Na so I see am o. Nothing in recent times pain me reach the dispute loss. Not because of the money, but because this arbitration by AE team is simply daylight robbery. But me I've moved on sha. |
faithful2911:You have a number of controversies up there. • Oral 53x is much different from french kiss. Maybe not for French kiss, but oral 53x definitely carries risk of contracting not only HIV but also many other viral STIs like, HPV (Oral and Genital warts, Cervical Cancer and Pulmonary cancer), HHV 1 and 2 (Genital herpes and Oral herpes) and of course HIV. The risks are much increased if there is co-existing GUDx (genital ulcer diseases) in the recipient or oral ulcers in the giver (partner giving the oral 53x.). In some cases all it takes to get infected with some of these bugs during 53x is "microabrasions" (tiny, invisible, painless scratches on skin in and around the genital area) a situation which is inevitable during every 53x romp. The virus particles then get settled in their effective environment thru these microabrasions. For your information, use of condomay not prevent against HPV or HHV, this is because the condom does not cover the whole penile shaft or even the t3stes, so genital fluid from a potential positive partner settling on microabrasions in such exposed areas can serve as conduit for infection. • Have you heard of AMR (Anti-Microbial Resistance)? If you have, then you won't be a proponent of "very strong PEP against all bacterial infections" as you posited above. It is a very dangerous practice to use antimicrobials (antivirals, antibiotics and antifungals) without a physician's prescriotion, the choice of which in itself must have been decided upon by the physician following a proper laboratory evidence of infection, the organism implicated, Antimicrobial sensitivity carried out on the organisms isolated to determine the effectiveness of the antibiotics in question and finally plus or minus strong consideration of the empirical sensitivity pattern of organisms suspected of causing such infections in cases where doing lab tests is a challenge. Please do not take the term AMR as just a mere mention. It's a real and present danger which we humans currently face and if we keep doing things as before, we may soon hit a situation similar to "pre-antibiotic era" in which most of the antibiotics we see these days will no longer be effective to treat infections. Then something as "common" or "immutable" as typhoid can turn out being a near 100% death sentence for whoever has it. Human activities Viz: the general population, Poor hygiene (infection Prevention and Control), irrational antibiotic use, animal husbandry/rearing, veterinary Doctors, medical doctors and indeed all Health Care Workers are all complicit in this problem of Anti-Microbial Resistance. Those organisms that cause these infections have developed features and processes in their system to render common antibiotics useless. Sadly there is currently no strong research into development of new antibiotics cos big pharma have diverted researches into more money spinning drugs for chronic illness like DM, HTN etc. We are not likely to get novel type of antibiotics in the horizon within the next 10 years. So what this means is that we are fast running out of choices of antibiotics that work effectively. You may think that your ampiclox or penicillin still works when you use it, and you may be right. But pray like mad that you do not get infected by the "stubborn" (drug resistant) population of a particular specie of microorganism. Your persistent use of DT4/TDF exposes your liver to the hepatic side effects of HIV drugs. So there's no need to be kobo wise, naira foolish. Why endanger your system to liver failure (which is more fatal) all because you're using drugs to prevent HIV which is even less deadlier these days? It may also provide a way for whichever HIV subtype you come into contact with to "train" itself on ways to become less susceptible to the drug. After that stage must have been achieved, subsequent copies/offspring that that newly resistant viron produces will acquire that resistant gene from the parent viron. If another HIV positive individual that has hitherto done fine on Emtricitabine/truvada then gets infected with this new population of resistant types, the dude may be in trouble cos his drug will no longer work on this newly acquired resistant viral population. Treatment failure ensues and that's potentially fatal. I wonder how it's possible to get ART as over the counter drugs, honestly it baffles me. But please try to slow down on it and stop it altogether. What you are doing is secondary prevention (use of drugs to prevent) whereas primary prevention (use of condom barriers, faithful partner, abstinence) which is usually better. This is similar to you going out to meet COVID positive people in the peak of COVID 19 epidemic and saying that wearing face masks, face shields and physical distancing will protect you, wherease the better option would have been for you to outrightly stay home away from the sick people where you won't even have to use any of those masks thingy. On a lighter note, usually when partners go for test TOGETHER, it is best practice to know each others result. The attending health care worker may even have the two of you together in the office to break the news (positive or negative) after you both must have given your full consent. You did not see your exe's result, but she knows yours direct from the horse's (doctor's) mouth. What if she is actually negative and she only needs a more effective and more conscionable way to get rid of you. I'll say she succeeded cos now you'll feel sorry for her, she goes on to marry the man of her choice after they both must have passed their HIV tests. Meanwhile you keep looking at them and waiting for years to see the two of them fall ill from a non-existent ailment. Kingrefreshed:I believe you had in mind to type "viral load can come down to zero..." |
This is sad. December rice for that matter, worst still something that has unduly increased in price. May the Almighty grant the bereaved the fortitude to bear these irreparable losses. It's okay the video was absent and it's only the audio that could be heard else the sight woulda been gory. But this video that's going in and outta focus na wa o. All these Techno phone users sha. tartar9:Those Chinese heh. In fact make I no just talk wetin my mind. |

Anambra peeps no need fight again with the arrival of these ones o. Bum power go work pass barrel power. |
Sofistcatdmoron:Going forward I'll be more observant, although in the case of this item, it was hard to tell from outside that it was compressed/damaged. It was nylon package, not cardboard box so any damage won't be apparent until it's opened. Thanks. |
tinnyailes:Likewise me. I got an item with seriously damaged screen. I opened dispute, sent loads pictures showing all sort of angles of the item and package to AE, yet the nonsense team has the infantile reasoning to be telling me that the damage must have been from me. |
genius43:There are usually two AE delivery notifications that means two different things • "Item has reached/is in your destination country" means it has gotten to Nigeria (referring to Lagos in most instances) • "Item has reached your local office" means that it has reached the last bus stop (your post office) |
earthrealm:Unfortunately no way. Except if you give him 1 star for "how fast did seller ship the order" and also remember to narrate his unreliability in your review. |
ajl:Let me explain the bolded to you. NB: My explanation is not in any way aimed at discrediting the existence and efficacy of jazz in terms of our own African Traditional Religion. People should try not to look down on it by especially disrespecting tradition and the good deeds it encourages amongst the people. Lightening that strikes the ground releases several kilojoules of energy that is capable of traveling for kilometers in/on the ground after it must have struck in certain instances. Majority of deaths from lightening strikes result from the effect on the heart (causes fibrillation) which can make the heart to immediately shut down hence the individual dies. Current travelling thru the ground or any medium for that matter requires a complete path of journey in other to do damage. That is why if you open a refrigerator/touched an electrical appliance without having dry shoes on, you may sense some discomfort like electric twitch on your hands. Even if you are on shoes but if they are wet, there is still a path available for the current to pass thru and you can still experience the shock. It is more common when appliances are not grounded to provide an alternative pathway of current flow away from the human body. The path starts from your hand with which you touch the appliance, the current travels thru your body but at that moment you may not feel any shock if there is no available exit point for the current. But the moment you put your legs on the bare floor or you step inside a puddle of wayer/wet floor, the path of least resistance is immediately created, the current finds the exit point and then you feel that shock. The same way you feel the shock is the same way it may have deleterious effects on the heart. Have you heard about the "Faraday cage" before? If not please read about it. It gives further insight as to how it's possible not to get shocked by an electric current if another path of travel/exit is made available apart from the human body. So as I was saying, the path of the current from lightening strike is made shorter/more lethal by the available number of exit points on the ground at that point of strike. Humans walk on two limbs and has a fairly high chance of getting killed by such strikes when the current travels thru the ground because the current enters thru the first limb, travels up into the body and then exits thru the second limb. Damage may be caused to the heart along its course in the body. Cows walk on all fours. Therefore their chances for fatality is doubled, if not more. I hope this is explanatory enough. Please I once again reiterate that this does not invalidate the efficacy of our African Traditional Religion. The apparent truth is that some of the things we see as extraordinary are scientific occurrences that humans are yet to find an explanation for. Decades back, talking thru a box wirelessly to another person in another part of the world will be seen as witchcraft. But now a scientific explanation has demistified it as an explanable phenomenon. Some phenomena in our African Traditional Religion still fall within the purview of things that God is yet to open our eyes to have explanation to. God in His wisdom will ensure that some phenomenon remains in His exclusive list of extraordinary cos we will likely never be able to explain such phenomena. That is why He is divine and that is why we need to keep seeing Him as the supernatural and Omni that He rightly is. |
JUO:The details please, especially for the 180w, 24v, AC and DC • Lift Max • Nozzle diameter • Pump enclosure dimensions (length etc) • Price |
mctfopt:There is this USB power bank portable spot welder that I came across online. With shipping costs 27k or thereabout.

BetaTechnicians:Watched some YT videos on soldering those things safely. The secret is not to let the soldering iron spend too much time at the soldering points. I think the batteries will still survive the mild heat generated therefrom. BetaTechnicians:Yep, bought. The Daly BMS I had lying around doesn't have a temperature sensor. So i scouted around for an equally good brand with a sensor online. Picture attached. Is your pack not meant to be used in solar inverter application? Usually 13s config is common with e-bikes and the likes.

They have not learnt their lesson. They still refer to 'emselves as "big people" instead of seeing 'emselves as public servants put there to SERVE the youths she is begging. She should be gentle and humble, not refering to her colleagues and herself as "big people" Big people my foot. Besides the video is dark, we couldn't see her face well. So how are we sure it's her apologising and not someone else she has paid to do that for her? The video appeared fake, doctored and photoshopped (in Nigerian Army spokesman's voice) |
Vickygirk:Now go thru this conversation I finalized with this useless seller just yesterday - the case I talked about couple of posts back. I hope it will be legible enough. When I threatened to open dispute because the tracking number seems not to "exist" according to tracking, he did not argue with me at all. In fact, he agreed that I open the dispute while I now place a new order and this time they send it thru Singapore post. What the nonsense guy thinks I do not know is that he has increased the item price to 20k up from the 14k I purchased it two weeks ago in preparation for his 11/11 fake "price crash". Meanwhile, I used out of the precious 100 USD monthly limit of my card to buy this and now it is wasted and simply returning the money will not buy me back that monthly opportunity lost. I would have better spent it on a more serious seller.

odimbannamdi:Okay this is how it works: The seller has AESS, UPS, FedEx and DHL options. The cheapest was AESS but of course the slowest. Of the latter three that are fast shipping options, DHL was the cheapest so I picked that. The seller later changed to UPS cos according to him DHL stopped shipping transiently that week cos of CoVID related issues. But he didn't ask me to pay extra despite changing to the more expensive UPS from the DHL I paid for. So the UPS option will still attract much more expense compared to AESS. But the 6,980.80 is the total cost i incurred the moment item reached SACHO in Lagos Nigeria. That screenshot was the email UPS sent to me informing me of the account to pay to. Thereafter, it will be brought to my destination at no more cost except maybe a 500 naira tip I may give to the courier guy. I will look for another similar email sent to me January this year by UPS for another item. The total weight I think was 15kg and the total charges was 18k or thereabout. I tipped the delivery guy 1k when he brought it to me. |
Mendy31:No idea. |
GeorgeD1:I still maintain to differ in this your assertion. But of course that's my opinion as well as you having yours, but opinions do not really disprove facts, do they? The facts are as clear as day. GeorgeD1:Your statements points out the fact that one is clearly superior to the other. I won't point out which. There is no way the old beats the new. There is a reason it is called new and a made a replacement. Of course if it wouldn't be widely accepted and if it isn't good enough for people, it is only a matter of time before it will be thrown into the backseat in favour of Lead Acid chemistry. Case in point is 3d television, though a new concept but because of the encumbrances with using it, the rave died down as quick as it came and people went back to their 2d offerings while development shifted to increasing Fidelity. Ditto blue ray discs. But I clearly believe one thing, all R & D into storage chemistries in recent times is based mostly on polymers of Lithium with other elements to achieve various desirable characteristics. Graphene is another element that seems to come close to lithium in recent R & D efforts but none is majoring on lead acid. That is to tell you that that chemistry has peaked already and can only be replaced. The only great thing about LA though is that it is fully recyclable in sharp contrast to lithium but that is not even enough reason for researchers to keep looking into improving it; it simply does not have extra to offer and tinkering with it beyond what has been done in the case of Lead-Carbon coating of electrodes isn't likely to offer more. Lithium is not a new concept, it's been around for decades but R & D into it has brought this much improvement. It will also reach its own zenith where it will likely be replaced with better offerings as tech improves. |
adrusa:It's what he uses and has given him satisfaction so far, based on personal experience. It's only normal that he recommends it to others even in marketing. I'll do the same if I were in his shoes. It will ensure that chances for "stories that touch" will be slim. Recall that those that tested Felicity gave their users' opinion based on the falsified capacity. |
Yèyé people. Una no see corrupt politicians rain curse upon, na youths that were embittered towards evil men for bad leadership una dey curse. And you think ayélála go follow you do the òjóró? You are on a long thing. |
Me to the lawmaker (in Mr. Macaroni's voice): Are you, are you normal?! |
Emily22:Clearly UPS. Don't know how much exactly they charge, but for the total price, I was billed 6,980.80 naira for a 3kg item. That price includes the customs fees and their own handling fees. Check the link for the attachment of the breakdown. https://www.nairaland.com/5266068/thread-only-aliexpress-shopper/344#95143930 |
dollarnaira:A number of limitations which is not unsurmountable but will be challenging. The number of panels is one, then the cabling size to handle that amount of current is another. This will also dictate your challenges with accessories. Best approach will be to up your 12v to maybe 48v, that way your current demand eases and so also will be the cabling and the accessories. |
BetaTechnicians:Ordered since almost two months ago. No sign of it arriving. That's why I'm trying to settle with sourcing locally. Please, that resistor you talked about, is that also available locally? I mean those white big cuboid shape type that Will Prowse use in his videos to first discharge before connecting batteries to inverters to prevent that spark. I may have done a little, maybe non fatal, damage to one of my MPPTs from such sparks - in a 24v system. I'm worried such sparks will be worse with a 48v system and I really need to arm myself with that resistor. I found out that resistor is likely the type used in DC fan regulators (the push button regulators, not the digital ones). The picture attached is one of the 48v/28ah pack. The second case isn't filled yet.

JUO:As in Pylon? ![]() Speaking of that, there was one of us here (can't recall who) that bought a Nissan Leaf battery and installed it in his solar system. I think he made a you tube video then. Did I miss the follow up updates or there was no such updates? |
ceaser:So it appears items are finally moving within Nigeria. Got notified of departure from Lagos yesterday following a four day delay.
|
organism3:Items stopped moving within Nigeria a few days ago cos of the fights that erupted from the protest majorly (not the peaceful protest itself), but it seems things are moving now with the relaxation of Lagos curfew. I got notification yesterday of eventual departure from Lagos of a UPS item that was stuck in Lagos for about three days So if you would order an item like phone and you want it to come early, big time logistics like FedEx, UPS etc are your best bet. It has much slimmer chances of getting lost in transit but you also stand some 90% risk of customs charges. If you don't mind two to three months waiting period on the other hand, then AESS will be okay and with much less risk of customs charges but a higher risk of loss in transit with these uncertain times occasioned by Covid 19 and Nig customs and NIPOST lackadaisical attitudes. |
peterincredible:The seller did not ship the item in the first place. That's why he/she readily suggested to you to open trade dispute. If he truly shipped it and it was getting delayed/lost in transit, he will beg you not to open dispute that he will either send another or that you should "wait a little more" while he extends your BP. In worst case scenarios in which you insist on trade dispute, the seller may now plead with you to file for partial return of payment. |
Vickygirk:That your seller did not ship your item in the first instance. That's what I am led to believe. They do it a lot and it is only in cases of regular shipping that genuinely shipped items get lost in transit. Big time logistics do not usually lose items like that. There is this one that marked my item as shipped since 12 days ago using DHL. Up till now, tracking using the number he provided is only showing "this number is not on the system". I knew from day one his hesistation to ship the item that I paid for when he began to tell me that I may have to pay more before he ships it to which I snapped back at him not to tell me that nonsense. I wanted to at once close/cancel the order citing reasons for doing so as "seller increased the price of item", but before I could do that 12 hrs later, I noticed that the item was "shipped". I have sensed foul play ever since then. I wanna wait for 14 days post-shipping before filing for trade dispute. |
Entrepreneurrr:Thanks. I hope it's a seller that does not have English language comprehension problem. |
MotunrayoA:Is it Android TV? If yes, it may be one of those android system freeze thingy. I've twice or trice experienced some necessary/forced resets following some stuck/unavailable menu on an android TV I have, a strategy which usually brings things back to normal. Please contact their customer service to get it addressed. |
Please how can one request for extension of BP on AE mobile app? I have hitherto done it on the web (desktop) version of the website but now encountering a hitch doing it. With this protest all over the place, man gats quickly beg sellers to biko extend BP of various items for another 30 days. I get like two expedited shipping items (UPS and DHL), both stuck in Lagos due to the protest, according to the tracking info. If that can happen to the big logistics, how much more small small logistics like AESS, CPRM and Cainiao dem. |
