These people are vile! See how they are dragging their very own here. Even when she is trying to portray their culture to the world. How divided can one be? The Hausas or Yorubas are not the problem, but you! |

You can buy the property in your child's name, but ensure you have all the legal documents of the property handed to you. If you are a novice in that regard, just involve a professional in that field. |

Jkyoung: I type this with tears in my eyes. I decided to share say this here because if I need somebody to hear my voice, as I approach my end. If I write this on Facebook, family and friends will see it and panic will set in, I don't want that. Devoid of our differences, Nairaland is also family to me. The choices I made in life are mine, but the forces at work are overwhelming. I was weak to their manipulations. All I ever wanted was to be an Engineer, to make mama proud and take care of my siblings. Believe me I have Love in my heart. I wanted to just be a better version of myself but nothing seems to work. When it seems like I am making a little progress, my desires are there to remind me that I am only but a prisoner. It appears to me that I was created a failure. I failed my family once again, myself, Society and God almighty. Now I am not afraid of death, I am only sad as I picture the face of Mama, Papa, Brothers and sisters crying while I lay motionless oblivious of everything( I know I will surely hear their wailing from the other side) I don't want to be judged, but that isn't really my choice to make. The next 3 weeks will be very crucial to my existence, if I survive it, then I will know that I will grow old and reach 95( I have always told anyone that cares to listen that I will live to 95). I know they are not reading this now, and nobody that knows me personally is; I just want to tell mom that I love her. To dad; All I wanted was to make him proud. To my brothers and lovely sisters: I love you guys, take care of mom and dad and succeed where I have failed. To my Nairaland family, God bless you all. I will miss the Afonja's, Ipobs, Nyamiris, Brown roofs, red mud, Arewa's(do they even have any special insulting name like the rest of us?)Lala and his snakes, the feminists( feminists are wonderful people, thank God they don't breed well). Lol
I sincerely pray I survive this. Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, Save Us and the whole world. Please, take a pause before you take any rash decision. If you love your family as you claim, you won't want to cause them pain! Remember there are people in the hospital fighting to stay alive. There is light at the end of the tunnel. You will surely overcome whatever challenges you may be facing. This too shall pass! |

igwegeorgiano: Being in a relationship with a destination on one's mind is a beautiful thing considering the joy of having the right partner in your world to make things happen. Am beginning to have a rethink about my present relationship with the most ungrateful of all ingrates of a lady on the planet earth.
Am presently in a relationship with a lady from the eastern part of Nigeria while I am from the south-south. We met over five months ago and within this short period I have spent well over 7million naira on this lady setting up a boutique biz for her getting her a befitting accommodation tastefully furnished and many more goodies to ensure she is comfortable including a car.
I don't want to bore us with other issues that cropped up which actually prompted me to share my experiences with this ingrate of a woman. I work so smart for my money as a certified mariner and I made my money from every available legit means am very comfortable to a very large extent but true love and affection is missing.
I went into a relationship with the sole aim of settling down with my woman whom I have done so much for. Just last night she called me and requested I assist her with with 500k to take care of some personal issues I agreed to give her the money but unfortunately I was able to raise 250k which I sent to her. Just few minutes ago she called to tell me that am a very stingy man. She told me I can't take care of her needs, yet I want to marry her. My people, am confused right now because I can't imagined myself going into marriage with this lady.
I have decided to relaxed any form of assistance to her henceforth so I can take my time to assess the situation of things in my relationship with her. How much have you spent on your mother? |

Sirheny007: This is akin to asking a father to choose which among his sons he loves best. A paterfamilias worth his salt will not do that. I will list 5 of my favorite authors of all times.
1. Lawrence Block 2. James Hardley Chase (Renee Brabazon) 3. Peter Cheyney 4. Chinua Achebe 5. Dan Brown
This list can alternate anyhow and I would not mind
Ps: James Hardly Chase wrote 153 books and I have read all of them!
MODIFIED: I am surprized no one has mentioned Agatha Christie!! The most published author on the face of the earth dead or alive Do you have any link to where I can download free ebooks of James Hardly Chase? |

Dominic Nwodo gathered that the two brothers, Ayodeji Obadimeji, aged 18,and Saheed Obadimeji,19 who resides at Tunde Balogun Street, Shapati, Ibeju-Lekki have confessed that one native doctor simply identified as Sodiq Abefe had contracted them to provide him with human head at the cost of two hundred thousand Naira (N200, 000). The suspect triggered with the large sum of money which they planned to spend together. They lured the victim by sending him to buy a bottle of Coca-Cola drink for them and when he brought the drinks to them, they held him and cut of his head with a knife. The victim has been identified by his parents as Joseph Makinde, male, aged 10 years. The remaining part of the body has been recovered from an uncompleted building located at Shapati and effort is being made to arrest the native doctor Sodiq Abefe who allegedly contracted the duo to commit the heinous crime. Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police has directed that the case be handed over to the Homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation And Intelligence Department (SCIID) for further investigation. This happened a few years back. Why edit the date to make it look like it just happened. Fear God! |

Ukwuani people don't cook their Banga like this. We cook our ofe nkpulekwu with gborogi (water leaf), ugu, bitterleaf, egusi or okro. We boil the palm kernel extract until the oil begins to float and then dunk every every inside. Nwene mmalu, you just brought that nostalgic feeling my way. |

Instead of you to be celebrating that God has delivered you from bondage, you are here mourning over your victory. Channel your energy more to be more resourceful and forget about women for now due to your current frame of mind. Work towards financial stability, and heal completely from the past, then you can give love a chance. Remain blessed! |

iLegendd: So, to everyone reading and those getting entertained — as someone said in my previous thread that my stupidity is entertaining. Let me entertain you with this final word before I shower again and finally sleep in this cold room.
If you take a look at your time you'll know it's 12 AM and everyone is about to sleep while some are already sleeping.
Also, if you take a look at the picture below, you'll know I haven't made a dime today. In few minutes, I'll go to bed and wake in 8 to 12 hours later.
When I wake, I'll check my account again and you'll see at least 10k and before the day runs out, I'll see anything from 20k and above — depending on how God wants it.
What I just explained above is called passive income. You make little money everyday while you sleep and at the end of the month, it becomes big money. There are different types of passive income, so use YouTube and Google and find one.
Please, don't slave your life chasing money — only do the work once and allow money chase you.
Also, as a man, don't chase women — attract them with your personality (not money) and they'll be the ones to chase you.
Case closed. You can mentor people here on how to earn passive income. You have said a lot without suggesting on how you can be of help. I'm interested if you're willing to help. |

Righteousness89: Blessing is never enough!get all the blessings you can The pastor should be invited to do the blessing on the traditional marriage after the rites. After that, all men to your abode! We should stop duplicating things. Even the white people don't do traditional marriage rites. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Reno Omokri Writes About Wedding, Christianity And Church by ceeceeuwa: 12:56pm On Jun 20, 2020 |
Righteousness89: Not completely correct!
A Marriage needs to be Blessed! Someone who stands as a Representative of GOD needs to Bless the Marriage. E.g Pastor, priest, etc
GOD ALMIGHTY in the Beginning Blessed Adam and Eve..
Gen 1:28..
The Blessings spoken to a couple is important!
All the other things are really important!
Does that supersed parental blessings. Can't parents from both families just do the blessings? |
