Jakeattah: U've got a point but that lottery is another issue entirelyYeah , but statistically speaking, the lottery is as minutely probable. |
Jakeattah: Tanx... Am sure that guy washed us about getting it TWICE.... But with ur knowledge of stuffs it seems u work with emptyhenDunno if he's lying or not, but it's not impossible for someone to get it twice.. I'd rather say it's minutely probable... Talking of double luck, check out this man that won multi million dollars Florida state lottery.... TWICE! www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2481417/Man-67-wins-multi-million-dollar-lottery-twice-buying-tickets-7-Eleven.html |
Originakalokalo: Now,lets say a recharge card PIN;Wrong!! You can't have only one right sequence of numbers. of the 12 trillion possible sequences, there are possibly like millions (depending on the encryption) of correct sequences. If the encryption being used at that moment gives 10 million correct sequences, then the probability of guessing a correct pin at random would be 10 million/ 1 trillion... Which is one in a hundred thousand chance, for example.. |
henchyk: It is a statistical and mathematical impossibility. Or rather let me say that it is very unlikely for anyone to correctly GUESS an entire recharge card number from first to last digit. Nah.Dude, it's not impossible... If not for the limit set by the networks before lines are blocked, it'll be FAR easier to guess an mtn recharge pin than to win the American mega millions lottery jackpot |
The probability of guessing a right sequence is like one in several thousands.... And not only guessing a right sequence but guessing one that hasn't been used by another person, increases the unlikelihood... the ideal way is to know the algorithm involved in generation of the recharge pin. I Believe the encryption is dynamic, else men would have cracked the code long ago.... |
In 2006, my friend sitting beside me suddenly screamed with JOY when he luckily guessed an mtn pin correctly. He got 400 naira |
Aspetta: I thought the issue of these open letters will die a premature death but I am glad it hasn't. The part about Ibori shocked me a bit because I didn't hear much about OBJ's involvement. Clark should present evidence too, afterall this is the time for proof. Nigerians cannot just sit and read your bashings for ever. It is only a matter of time before we see it all happen, if it is true. Looking forward to more letters...Molto corretto, brava ragazza.... |
Ashmark: NorwayFree for EU citizens |
tchidi: Well, I know 2 people who got it some time back, and believe me when I say they didn't know anyone!! One of them, both parents are secondary school teachers... I guess they are part of the 5% then...Quite true... The fact is that whether you know someone or not, you must possess an impeccably brilliant record of academic performance to be eligible... |
Tumisang: How did you know she was a South African? And please don't tell me because she said so.Why would anyone falsely claim to be south African in that situation? |
Omo_Tier1: Derail which thread?Effects of smoking GBANA... |
Go and die: stop this and give ur life to christCut that crap... Did they tell you they're worshipping the masquerades? |
omusiliyu: That's Bangladesh.. And here in Nigeria Sheik Rochas Audu Okorocha is working seriously to converts all the Imolite to Islam. He has Built a world-class Mosque in Owerri and about 20 Igbo-catholic members converted to Islam last year endingDo you really Believe all this you just wrote? Or was it Alomo-induced? |
owobokiri: Convert or no convert, if i see any mosque at urualla,i will organise a riot. Igbos have been spared of the diblitating trends associated with islam, less than 0.5% of igbo population are muslim, we are blessed.. we have christian dogmas and the menace called traditional religion to deal with, adding another layer of trouble shouldnt be of any help. Islamic inroad into igboland should be mercilessly repelled. To hell with freedom of religion. . This particular religion will bring no upgrade to the process of igbo cultural modernistion, so what is the use? You convert qnd you stay there.. On this one, we have to be culturally cocky before it becomes a trend.Less than 0.05% |
If I'm not mistaken, that's an old joke. I don't even think he was the originator of that joke I saw years back.. Anyway, he did nothing wrong. Any lady that doesn't want sex from a man shouldn't bother following him to a bedroom. I Believe we're talking of date r|ape here and not some random sociopathic violent r|ape. |
emmadan: una no dey hear?abuja isn't built for the average.if its too hard for you, pack your bag and go.we dnt want abuja to be like lagos. This one dey nassarawa satellite town dey form ..... |
JideTheBlogger: That's even fair. |
Y'all proclaiming zip-up, go and marry etc... Don't married couples need contraceptives as well? Abi is marriage a license breed like rabbits especially in these hard times? |
solomon111: If you think there's racism in Nigeria, then you need to get a refund from whichever university you went to.One of the numerous definitions of "Race" is: "A family, tribe, people or nation belonging to the same stock" (Merriam-Webster) Tribalism = racism... |
bigx: They are the same,Yeah, kind we don't suffer racism here as well...... |
TribalEAST: Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, Imo and Abia put together arent up to OYO state in terms of land squaremiles. Those places are densely populated. What you might called a state capital in iboland might be like a neigborhood in oyo state. What you might call a village in iboland might be a combination of 3 streets in oyo state. Ogbomosho, a town in oyo state consisting of 2 local governments areas is bigger than imo and ebonyi states put together while ibadan the capital of oyo state can cover close to 3 states o its own.I understand your point... And I also acknowledge your ignorance pertaining to the nature of houses in ibo villages... Even if a man builds a mansion, all his sons will eventually have to build their own houses... And most times considering the seeming competition and show-off exhibited during xmas holiday period, they wouldn't want to build "small" houses. Some will rather wait till they're ready to build at least a fairly large bungalow. Some others will build something small to have a place they call Home at least. one of the main dilemmas we have here is the waste of money in building houses that are bigger than necessary, as most are only occupied for two weeks tops in a whole year. And being rural areas, renting them out won't be profitable. As for the issue of mud houses, maybe we'll have to open another thread for that and title it "post pictures of traditional Igbo village houses here" so that people that have mud houses present in their communities can post such. it's been overstated that such mud houses are still present, I dunno how posting pics of pretty houses negates their presence... The thread was opened for the sole reason of posting rural masterpieces. You could have only understood that if you were Igbo. And to that, I forgive your ignorance.... |
Most peeps use their smart phones to browse, update social media profiles, chat, play music and video. Oh,,and also make calls..... I'm yet to see any tecno Android phone that can't do all of the above. No one ever argued that tecno is better than Samsung in terms of quality. But it's all a matter of OS now. With Android 4.0, one can get virtually all necessary apps in play store. So I don't see the essence of upgrading from 4.1 to 4.2 for a basic smart phone user... Unless you're a developer or hardcore geek... I use a Samsung phone. You all using Samsung should check where your phones were made from the battery compartment, it's likely made in China (especially if you bought it in Nigeria ). Buy your tecno phones if you want, and savour the Android experience to the fullest. |
NASA my a$s!! |
all4naija: If you agree me there are mud houses in Igbo villages click LIKE button.bull$hit... your friend Berem has clarified it, THERE ARE MUD HOUSES STILL PRESENT in the rural villages in the southeast. I dunno what's giving you a hard-on about seeing the no-longer-common mud huts. I bet if Berem had posted the pic of her father's mansion, you'd have attacked her as well.... |
all4naija: Let me say something in Chinese, yin, yinyinyinyin. Is that actually Chinese?! I don't know. That is the way Igbo people go about their achievements and the Igbo village houses in this thread. There was no analogy there.... just pure facts |
all4naija: Google Earth! Oh,please! You refused to provide us the name of where that particular building is located. The geographical coordinates you are using as an excuse don't provide us the name but the nearest town or village. It is sad to know you are going after something you can't provide factual answer to.Hahaha, keep ranting.... I remember my friend, Niyi that served in Owerri. The first time he ventured to the hinterlands around nkwerre and njaba, he was surprised at the kind of structures he saw. Normally he expected to see mud houses all around but that wasn't the case. The cost of purchasing land in the ancestral hometown is usually zero, they are mostly inherited. Most of the supposedly good looking houses are owned not by so wealthy peeps. They are owned by average peeps working and hustling in big cities in Nigeria and abroad. It's not uncommon for a menial worker based in USA or Canada to achieve such building in the village in a space of 5-10 years. The cost of those houses may not buy half plot of land in lekki or maitama... |
all4naija: Doesn't the place have a name? Indeed, it is not for every good to know that you are being secretive about this very building and the place it is located. That proves there is a lot to be demanded of it. Explanation is all I can ask for at this point in time.Dude, if you were smart, you'd have checked out those.coordinates on Google Earth to see your much anticipated aerial view of my villa, presumably while you jerk off in anti-ibo climax.... |
candor4: He is nt a fowl he is just telling you d truth..................If u can afford d big phone u can afford d subscription money..............simple truthWhat's "big" about Android phones?? Android phones are on average, cheaper than iPhones, Lumia, and blackberry phones if you didn't know. It's functionality and user experience that's making Android phones sell, coupled with the option of low-end devices. |
all4naija: Please, explain the geo-location of that image for me. What I see there is numbers representation of unknown geo name with geo-location +5° 45' 48.23", +7° 0' 12.89"(Orlu Rd, Nigeria 861 m SW). Not what you are claiming. Bwahaha...Good, you're learning fast. Thank God for Google... location is off the the Owerri-Orlu expressway. 861m (roughly 1km) away from Orlu road being the nearest recognisable reference point. In summary, it's a remote location, no town or city. |
all4naija: I don't even get how you put up geo-location without pointing out the longitude and latitude.Of course you can't know, ignorance is bliss..... |
all4naija: Lol... You have failed to convince me that there are no mud houses in Igbo villages. This is a compound of a building we don't know anything about. It could be a building in any city in the east. Who knows?I didn't post this to prove anything to you. That's not what the thread was opened for. Also, I didn't expect you to know that it's a geo-location coordinate I wrote up there. Thanks for proving me right..... |
