Welcome A_K_O, lets hope our friend in the RCC can come to terms with those explicit scriptures. They aren't esoteric are they? |
I am watching from the sidelines. ![]() |

See this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-75506.672.html I think it should rsolve your worries. Start from page 1. |
mdsocks: Because you don't know Islam: won't it be good if you shaarrap!Cyber-jihad can't kill ![]() mdsocks: Ask and you shall be answeredI see some confusion here. Someone contradicting himself from the very start! You dont have time, yet you want to teach. Okay lets listen to Prof.mdsocks: Wow you said no miracles ! See you are ignornt deep downOkay lets see ![]() mdsocks: The miracles of the QuranSome brilliant display of naivity. Seem to be a proselyte. I though you were going to tell me that allah used the anchor of your religion, i.e., mohammad to perform some miracles like Jehovah Almighty did with Jesus? And what do i get, someone telling me that his quran supports some BBT? (shakes head) mdsocks: If you need more just replyPlease i dont need more (especially from you). I think the more learned ones should come up for discussions cos this one is trying to save his head in Iraq mdsocks: Ignorance i will say is the greatest diseaseThank you. |
Oby1: Is it about reading the bible or understanding the Bible, you lack understanding take it or leave it. (My God you people are full of pride, too arrogant).Hey! Oby1 tak am easy o. abeg. I no want heart arrest o. So that you no go say na Cgift kpai you o Biko, ntakiri ntakiri (small small) ; If you see me physically, I guess you wont be able to reconcile the name to the stature. I be one small person. Pride? tufiakwa! Wetin that one be? I am only surprised that you have rechristened an exercise pointing you to the Word of God as "Pride and arrogance". God dey. Oby1: You don't even understand the Bible like the Catholics do, and that is the fact. (Ka Chineke mezue okwu).Who no sabi that one before? Everybody knows that your interpretation of your Oby1: 1 peter 5: 5-6 "In the same way you younger people must submit to your elders. And all of you must put on the apron of humility, to serve one another, for the scripture says, "God resist the proud, but shows favour to the humble. It is not taking me by surprise either. Can i 'assume' that this is the reason why you take what they tell you gbam, just like that without weighing it? You call that submission? Let me educate you with this text: Ephesians 6:1 ¶Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise ![]() . I will obey my parents either physical or spiritual only when it is in the Lord. I will nevertheless honour my father and mother (whether they are sinners or not). In other words, if my father or priests (parents) tells me to go and sin, i will not obey them because sin is not of the Lord. I hope that helps. Oby1: I think is high time you guys find another thread where u can gather members into your fold.Nope! I aint gotten any church. Its just some constructive mind engagements (or so we wanted it to be). Its good to discuss and arrive at logical conclusions as the bible says we should prove all things. Oby1: Do you want to tell me that your pastors have not made any blunder since they started preaching to you guys.Well, they may have, but like i said in one of my posts, we query them (their words) against the bible and ask qustions. You are not priviledged to do that 'cos you are afraid probably! You say the bible is too difficult to understand! That smacks of intellectual laziness (pardon my choice of words please) Oby1: Look for other means to get members, maybe u should try the Muslim thread, but fortunately it seems u people are afraid to venture there.God is already at work on those sites. We dont put the cart before the horse. Oby1: Cgift i see hatred written all over you and pride over the prophets of God, remember what happened in 2 Kings 2:23-24, where Elisha was mocked. ( don't let it be your portion) and i pray it won't be your portion in Jesus Name. You have slandered my personality with that statemnt. I dont hate. I dont carry grudges. My wife knows that. God knows that i forgive and forget even befor asking for it. If i have said anything that inferred hatred, i willingly swallow the humble pie and say I am deeply sorry. Like Kathryn Khlman said, ", run for that man who cannot ay i am sorry, because he is evil, " I wont hesitate to call you on your phones or send mails to you to apologise but remember, that wont prevent me from telling the hard and bitter truth. We must separate play from pray you know. When I first meet you as a person, religion is the last thing that strikes my memory. I am introverted and more of a phelg. I am saying this so that you can understand me better. I am however watching from the sidelines but i think we hav made our positions known. |
Oby1: @Ebos and othersWell, you can turn a deaf ear to that, but i know those who are very objective will still read and put thier thinking caps on. You probably think its only you guys who give rejoinders that are reading. Thats a collosal mistake. More people read from the sidelines and make decisions for Christ. Its not all of them that are outspoken as lawyer who just gave himself a retreat. Oby1: Jesus said "I know that after i leave, fierce wolves will come among you, and they will not spare the flock, the time will come when some men from your own group will tell lies to lead the believers away after them. Watch, then, and remember that with many tears, day and night, i taught every one of you for three years "That is excalty what the history of catholicsim depicts- a wolf in sheep's clothing. Dare turn the title around cos its inglorous? Oby1: Anti-Christ have filled the churchs, watch and you will see what is happening is either a pastor was caught trying to kill its member, or used a member for ritual, na what i hear now is Jehovah sharp sharp.Nun oby1, is this catching you by surprise? Christ already said it in Matthew 7:21 ¶Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. If someone knows the truth and fails to do it, leave him for God himslef to judge. For those who are outside and have not been exposed to see the truth, it is imperative that they must be brought to the knowledge of it by forums like this. Of Christ's 12 diciples, one was a thief! This is despite his being close to the Annointed One and His Annointing! Oby1: The latest one i heard from one of their television programme was that every believer must speak in tongues ( and there is a book titled how to speak in tongues) We have to shine our eyes, strange things are happening.Though it is being abused, it nevertheless does not obliterate the importance of a wonderful gift like speaking in tongues. I think there are threads that have addressed that earlier. Gifts of the Holy Spirit such as tongues, prophecies, etc are some of the things lacking in the catholic church because you have a very wrong concept of how God works. Not your fault anyway cos you have made your spirit man docile to your leaders. You need to take it back i beg. Oby1: Please what i am saying is for Catholic faithfuls to stand up for their faith, we have Catholic biblical Instructors Union i think in all parish, where we are taught more on our faith.Ensure the basis of that faith is no more on Mary but on Jesus Christ. Let it not be th catholic faith but the Christ's kind of faith which says do not violate my commandments by your traditions Mtt. 15:1-5 All the best. |
ebos:ebos, how you dey now? When you wan marry abi you be priest? |
ebos: I believe both Catholics and Protestants are worshipping the same Living God but my problem with you guys is the Protestants holier-than-thou-attitude.No! That's being mischievious. You have not hit the nail on the head. Your problem with Protestants is that they read the bible and you don't. ebos: There is no doubt that more Catholics will make heaven than you guys. Though, my prayer is for everybody to make heaven.Another fallacy. But wait a minute! I am beginning to waver in my opinion about you ebos. I sincerely doubt (with all due respect) if you really know the RCC and the papal quotes. I can quote as many popes as possible who said categorically or by inference / extrapolation that there is no other way of salvation except though the RCC. Are you sure you are on top of this game or you want to beg to differ from your popes You know that is heretic once you differ from your popes and you should be anathemised ![]() If on the other hand, in the depths of your heart you differ from this people, why don't you just live them and stop all this mis-directed defence? Between you and me, we know they (your defences) hold no water. ebos: You have a little knowledge of the scripture - interpretation is your problem. It is with that little meal (five loaves of bread and two fishes) that Christ fed a whole multitude. All that Christ wants is that little knowledge and little faith as small as a mustard seed and see what he will do with it. That same little knowledge of hers has always found you and your brethren wanting and at loss for words in the hot-biblical-exchanges. So if she has little, I guess, you and your cronies haven't even started! ebos: I also believe you were converted newly and that is how any new convert behaves. You will get tired very soon and then you will begin to see Catholics as real Christians.I rebuke that on her behalf in Jesus' name. - and pray that no form of tiredness can make us see black and call it white as your priests and popes have sworn to do (you want to see this also - dare ask me!). They will rather uphold lies and falsehood than any contrary opinions. ebos: I have seen your kind before. This is why I prefer to be delicate with you because my conscious tells me you are certainly a new convert. Her date of conversion does not apply here. I guess you have hard about Paul (formerly Saul) of the bible before. He was converted to Christianity on his way to Damascus, the fire of his love for God only increased from the day he got to know Christ till his death. So my dear brother, I would naturally expect that her message against anti-Christs and their devotees will only increase by the day 'because the bible says in Prov. 4 : 18; But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. |
ebos: Jesus Christ teachings on what you just posted were they parables or he meant it literaly to the Pharisees?Jesus did not use those words in the figurative sense. ebos: If Jesus meant it literally and directed it to the Pharisses, why now do you liken the same Pharisees who were not Christians and never believed in Jesus with Catholics who are Christians and believed in Jesus,I hope the meaning of my submission was not lost on you? As we have frequently avowed and proven on this forum, the doctrines of Catholicism have a serious contradiction with the commandments of God. We now have a perfect picture of what obtains now in what Christ experienced directly in his earthly days. It therefore gives a very good analogy. Just like the Pharisees who had contraditions wth the bible, the RCC have contradictions. Christ told them that those traditions should not violate the commandments fo God as i tell you now that your traditions (oral, as you are wont to say), should not violate the commandments of God. QED. The same old song we protestants have been singing. ebos: who even brought Christianity to you? Do you now want to teach a Church (Catholic) that brought you out from your idol worship to Christianity? It is amazing.Well, it does not matter who brought christainity. What matters now is that the beneficiaries (i.e., protestants - according to ebos,) of the largesse of the 'founders' or 'originators' of christainity (Catholics - as you claim), do not revel in the light of those same falsities that their benefactors glory in. |
My guys, good morning and how was your independence day celebration? Over the weekend, i was just going through my bible and settld on Matthew Chapter 15. I will like to just curl it verbatim from the KJV and allow people to see for themselves what we have in the bible: Matthew 15:1 ¶Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, 2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. 3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. 5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; 6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. 7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. I think these things speak for themselves. In summary:
[li]Pharisees (figuratively Catholics now), have traditions. verse 2 and expect disciples (protestants figuratively) to abide by those traditions.[/li] [li]Jesus confronted them saying, why do you also invalidate Gods commandments by the so-called traditions (since they are not in line with the scriptures)?[/li] [li]Jesus concludes, their segmented 'worship of Jesus' of Him (Jesus) is vanity (futile, not accepted, no effect, waste of time, etc) because, they only transcribe into doctrines the commandments of mere men.[/li]
My submissions. ![]() |
orobo 50cl:Orobo, yo uno plenty reach. Go bring your photocopies join this discussion. We dey wait ![]() @lawyer If them no one hear correct thing, we go turn am to rough and i know say them no like rough play. So my guy, watch and see

Thank God you know we dont like rough play but i bin wondr the kain spell or juju you wan use for us to make us run for cover. Again we dey wait. |
since allah has hands but cant hold anything, has moutn but cant talk, in short, since allah is practically helpless, they need to help their allah by force! So, do not hold any of them in high esteem. Any muslim not blood thirsty is not a tru muslim. They are commanded to kill! |
mdsocks:Hey! Just calm down those frayed nerves ok. What is there to see in islam? What fascinates? murder, hatred or what? What is the attraction in islam, no frills, no thrille, no miracles, no spiritual power for doing good but only evil? What is there to see, the confusion of mohammad and his allah or what? What is there to see in islam? A religion which seeks to control states? What is the attraction? I want to know. |
Oby1:Oby1, na you abi? God go catch you now. Just wait small. God dey plan sontin for you now. No run pass God you hear? |
Shaman:My guy, i must tell you something: be careful many have gone. Do not delve into what you cant control. Let me tell you, what you have just put forward is so vague that you loose control as you do not have limits and appropriat guides as to how far you can go. You are obviously threading the paths of demonism. That same definition and of course the most enjoyable of any divine relatonship is with Jesus Christ. The relationship you can have with Him is so plain and pure that you would have wished you knew him earlier. Give him a chance, and you will know that Jesus is good. He will help you control and fulfill that divine nature of yours in him. I mean you can flow extensively in the supernatural. All your quests for the divine is in the bible. It now depends how much of yourself you give to him for h says: John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. Many blessings. |
That is highly debatable. It is more accurate to say that it is derived from the term 'aslama' ,Arabic for surender. The reality is that Islam is synonymous with surrender or submission and not peace as modern day apologists like to claim
I doubt if that person knows anything about the quran. Let the more enlightened once come up here to discuss. |
seeu: Each time I remember my life in Christ, I remember my own Church and also sob for some denominations that have led many astray through the way they interpret the scripture. I’m quite sure that Christ will not be happy seeing what is going on among Christians because many have disappointed HIM, and others brainwashed by false teachers.Look at a thief calling the property owner a thief (a yoruba addage). So it is we who have been brainwashed by false teachers ehn? Good for you. Your brothers know how well we have engaged them constructively. Dont come here and reverse the hand of the clock, you only set yourself back by that. You have only come to tell us that you have submitted your intellect to the pope/priests of your local cathedral. They are the ones who hav brainwashed you. Get the bible and read for yourself. It is not written in arabic or latin. It is in English .seeu: I have carefully gone through the posts and I would rather say some contributions are quite interesting, but one thing that makes me shake head is the narrow knowledge of the scripture so many have, yet we believe we have it all.Mr or mrs broad knowledge, you have only further shown that you are lacking in things of the scriptures. I thought you would take the critical issues and address them instead of making vague utterances. Go on, give us expositions on your doctrines and lets put them to the fiery test of any bible translation. seeu: I therefore put all the problems in Christianity squarely on Protestant Churches who have continued to allow themselves be led away by evil inspired teachings from their ignorant Pastors who claim to know the bible more than the Holy Spirit. What an obfuscating statement! I am deeply saddened by such a rash statement. And who has told you that Christianity has problems? Christ has no problems. It is people like you who carry the toga of problems all about because you have refused to simply do a simple thing for yourself - reading the bible. seeu: It is sad that a lot of people have ceaselessly been spreading false teachings, and Jesus must certainly be unhappy to seeing all this happening. Now we can see who has been brainwashed. My person (i don't know your sex, sorry), all we ask our catholic brethren to show is let them give us the documentations of the 'oral traditions' passed down from Paul, Peter, John, and other founding apostles that you people now claim is more superior to the bible. When bowing down to image of mary cannot be traced directly to the apostles, who then gave them to your popes? When infant baptism canot be traced directly to the pentecostal church of the apostolic era, who then passed them down to you? - this is just to mention only a few of the anomalies. I repeat who passed them down to you? That explains why you may want to clinge to strange gospels that when put forward would direclty make God sound like a confusionist but my God isn't one. (I hope you don't use the heretic gospel of barnabas?) seeu: I know that God is a merciful God, and He gives all these Pastors and those that believe in their teachings more chance to repent or be destroyed. The truth is in Catholic Church, and only in Catholic, and not even any of the Protestant Churches can lay claim of close to possessing the truth. The unsubstantiated 'truth'. My friend go back to the very first page of this thread and get some lectures. seeu: All Catholics should continue with what you have and you cannot get half of the grace of God any other place except in Catholic Church, and only in Catholic you can have a lot of Angels and Saints of God as friends. We have taken them as friends, but the Protestants have other friends hence their behaviour shows that these Saints and Agents of the Living God are strangers to them, and it’s a taboo for Protestants to mention the Angels and Saints of God in their lives as Christians.Friends? No. You probably wanted to say objects of worship? With all the prayrs of the saints, you should be a superhuman by now ![]() seeu: May our Mother Mary, all you Saints of God, the Legion of Angels, Pray for us all who believe in their Powerful prayers.that word "LEGION" - reminds me of the demon-possessed man in the the bible. Hope its not that one you are referring as mary? So please, put up the issues and lets discuss them rather than crying over split milk. Thank you.
Certainly, interpretations and people change to suit themselves by their level of understanding – but the Protestants have no chance of recognizing real change – if they cannot recognize and accept their inability to discern the true interpretation of the scripture. Obviously, problem they will continue to create for themselves and not Christianity itself.
bos, we are back to the same thing: you have now lucidly demonstrated your fears - this really is fear fabricated and delivered to you by your superiors. The fear of what? You should have seen with all w have gone through that the papacy obvioulsy wants to groom morons (sorry to use that word). What instigated th use of it is this: what do you call a man who has placed before the knees of some men like him his mind, intellect and everything? What do you call a man who no longer reasons for himself - a man who would only receive orders from some 'super' humans and use them without any iota of reasoning? That is their mission out there in the Vatican- to build robots out of a vast numbr of people. And I'm afraid, they are making a huge success out of it. Adam/Eve did not fall because they tried to reason for themselves, (i know that is what your priest tell you when you try to engage them intellectually on the things of the scriptures), they fell because they refused to obey God's simple and clear instructions. God allowed reasoning and that was why he brought animals to be named by Adam. He allows reasoning and has said in Isia. 1: 18, come let us reason together . For how long will you continue to wallow in this sea of ignorance concerning things which you have full access to? You say that we interprete it to suit ourselves - how? I chalenge you to bring any bible translation - any one you are comfortal with and let us quiz. Many things are too explicit that you require no man to tell you. Paul said - "STUDY TO SHOW THYSELF APPROVED, " I am feeling something within me now, (I wsh we were talking face to face, you would have seen tears down my eyes). My heart sobs |
Sorrow joyful mind of Cgift.
bros, I'm ![]() |
gozizi:You gozizi, don sign abi? You no wan even care if small error dey inside. That's somewhat dangerous i think. On our dear lawyer, you cant condemn lawyer just like that now! Listen he said something: lawyer: I remain a free thinker and would vigourously try and understand the meaning of all this. It's too difficult to understandFor the meantime, he would try and reason deeply and ponder on all of the counters or the exposition we made about several issues. He needs it and for him to do it, he needs to first put down the old garb - that is if he must be objective with himself. |
Pilgrm, there is fire on the mountain o! See our friend lawyer! lawyer: Fellow catholics. It has been a while since i have been on any religious thread and though once in a while, i do monitor the discussions from the side lines, i have to admit, this is a very dangerous topic that has ended up achieving the aim of whoever wanted to pass a message across.I really do not know the person who initiated this discussion ab initio but from the topic of the thread, i.e. Glory To Jesus, Honour To Mary! All The Real Catholics Please Stand Up! it is most probable that a thoroughly bred catholic would have ignited it. And i must apologise first on behalf of non-catholics that though, we where not invited but along the line, (since we were also reading from the sidelines) had to invade your dear privacies to 'contribute' and possibly engage our minds in warm arguments as to the veracity of most assertions (call them doctrines or tenets may be) being put forward by our dear brothers. I must also opine that it was not our intention to make an atheist or freethinker of any practising catholics but to 'try' to correct som impressions. THis we did to the best of our ability accroding to th grace of the Holy Spirit. I must tell you that you guys got us thinking at some points too. We had to seriously search the scritures too! Yeap. I read and i guess your favourite friend pilgrim must have researched thoroughly in order to throw some light into many burning issues. I for one must confess that i was increased in knowledge as the engagement added more to my k-base. Paul said; 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.. He said Prove ALL THINGS. ALL! Not some. That means what you cant prove or substantiate (like i said in one of my rejoinders) is baseless. There is the writtn code. Any oral traditions passed down must not contradict the one we can see else you are watering the believe that God is 'confused' but God ain't the author of confusion. W must be very careful here. I know as a bible scholar yourself, you know sincerely what that statement means that you should prove all things. lawyer: Since my previous banters with people that are against catholics, i have come to realise that, religious matters are dangerous topics to tread on and i have to say, whatever message has been passed here, has negatively affected my belief in the catholic church and for almost 2 weeks, i have thought and pondered over all the issues raised and i have finally come to a decision not to be a catholic or christian whatsoever.Yes, religious matters are dangrous topics to engage in but we thank God for forums like this. In most cases, bashings were coming from several sides which probably may imply that if it were physical debates, some peopl would have resorted to very unorthodox means like fighting anyone with divergent views. But in these kind of fora, you dont see the person you are discussing with, hence, its only a virtual war and cannot result into blood-shedding. That's why we must leverage on the advantages offerred by this medium extensively. Jesus knew how difficult and painstaking it would be when he said that you will hav persecutions because of me: he knew matters of the divine appeals to the inner-man which people hold dearly and are willing to die for but he commanded us that we should 'go into the world and preach the gospel'. He said Luke 21:12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.. Yes, persecution must come and in itself it is very dangerous. They must violate your privacies and tear apart your comfort zones thereby revealing some insecurities. When people then feel insecured, they react. Matters of the spirit appeals seriously to the psyche, nevertheless, we are obligated to continue to dish it out like this: 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. . You see why we could not help it but engage you guys extensively. We knew we were threading on very dangerous grounds but we had to go on. Again thanks to virtual forums like this. lawyer: There are so many arguments all in the name of God and what should be right and what's not right and whose scripture is the best to read and whats not to follow. It's a little bit disheartening where mankind would go to great extend to discuss things that could potentially damage one's spiritual life.Again, let me reiterate that we never intended to 'damage' - thats very heavy. It was rather supposed to make people see reasons and make adjustments. It is scriptural to rebuke, reprove and exhort 'with all longsuffering'. That was why we refused to renege despite threats. My brother it is worth it. lawyer: I have no grouse against anyone and probably think it's the best thing to do. I remain a free thinker and would vigourously try and understand the meaning of all this. It's too difficult to understand and it would be best to finally sign off from these kinds of boards lest i get more bleeped up than i am already. I really don't know how many people have been braintwisted like me by reading all these posts but as for me, the easiest way is the best way out.Lawyer, you are a very intelligent person, (and i mean every word of it please) at least you would see it in several salient points you raised but still needed to be put straight. I would quickly say that taking the "easiest way which is the way out (as you said) may be good for one reason: It enables you to, from without (outside) go back into the very foundations and do some serious scrutiny. The way of Christ, the way of the cross is no doubt the only sure way (no other person ever said - I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, & THE LIFE, NOBODY COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY ME". No one ever said that categorically and guess you know the import of those words more than I do. From without, you would be able to see and not be subject to the mistake of accepting 'anything' without first putting it to test of fire of God's words. Any traditions of / from God would not crash like a pack of cards when subjected to the intense that of God's words. Accepting the 'traditions' without commensurate test (like the Bereans in aCTS 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so., is the mistake many people make. Even I as a protestant, when my Pastros say somthings, i subject it nebcause they are 'humans', they are 'fallible' and prone to mistakes (of which they may later apologise but the deed has been done) - i go ahead to confirm (I mean some serious scriptural soul-searching) if they are true. If they aren't, engage them in some debates. lawyer: Religion is too complicated and i'll just wait till the end of time good or bad, i'll remain a freethinker for life from now on.That is not the best of decisions bro, do not blank Christ. He is the author and finisher of our faith. You know from your heart of hearts that He loves you and wants to reach you so that you can commun with Him one on one. He is your source and you can only be the best in all ramifications of your life with and in Him. Life is not vague. My advice is, while taking this break, seek him through his words with an 'open' mind. Read the scriptures in them you have eternal life. Meanwhile, i will take it as a sole responsiblity to continu to pray for you. Please send your e-mail to me (I will sincerely appreciate it through crownsgift@yahoo.com). I LOVE YOU & OTHER CATHOLIC BRETHREN WITH THE LOV OF CHRIST. |
RichyBlacK:Can you please tell us the 'tenets' of mysticism. May be w can start from there. |
Make una tell gozzi say na english dem take write bible no be arabic or latin. So bible no suppose hard am to understand. Jesus said "I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH & THE LIFE, NOBODY COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY ME". Anything hard for that one? Jesus use the word "EXCEPT" and he has not given room to ambuity as to whether you can go through another route. So make hin no say bible they difficult to understand. This is 2007 not 538BC ![]() |
ebos, you know i am more inclined to believe the church formd by the apostles back then must hav been protestant in nature. You dare ask me why? |
i no sabi wtin they happen luli? Why you dey repeat post like this? Another one: I be banker . Infact, na office i dey so . And the big one: Jesus is the Lord of my life, He is my Saviour and God, He is my Wisdom To him be all the glory, honour, power, praise, authority, dominion, wealth, risches now and forevermore AMEN!Meanwhile, how Mariolatroy enter RCC? Which of the direct apostles of Jesus pass down the tradition of Mariolatory? i wan know. |
Oby1: Shey u like Yabbis. Abeg tell us if you bi area boy since u sey na for Ajegunle them born u. Maybe na area boy we dey follow yarn since we no know.Area boy ko, area boy ni. ![]() For your info. Now lets put all the rantings aside and discuss like someone with some considerable degree of intellectualism. You would agree with me that the RCC does need some surgical operations. I have asked you people and will still ask again: Was it Peter (ur self-acclaimed fist pope) that bowd down to the statue of Mary that has now being passed down by traditions? Please answer that now!! We just want to know how Mariolatory crept into the church. |
Oby1:I dey weep o! My advice is this: look unto Jesus only, defy all other doctrines not of God. I have been telling you this, take the bible and do a deep soul-searching study. God will reveal himself to you. You need not remain in a place where blasphemies are being preached? Stand up for yourself, reclaim your thinking cap that you submittd t oyour priests/bishops/popes and search th scriptures for yourselves. God will find you. |
luli, since you do not believe anymor in most of their treachings/acts why are you still there? |
