Good morning guys ! When I wanted to start this visa processing my agent told me that I can't apply for F1 visa cause my age is above 20 . So he said I should get another Birth Certificate and I should use the new age to get my passport . I got my first passport and 2002 was written there as my DOB and I was born in 1998 cause I have this age on all my documents... Have been given admission with scholarship but am wondering if there might be any issues on my interview day ....cause the vo might ask 4 my age ...I possess two DOB now. 1998 is on my i20 while 2002 on my passport ... Am confused pls help me guys [color=#000000][/color]

Try Bolingo Hotel. It is just a minute walk to the embassy. I stayed there the night before my interview. The rooms are cool and serene. You'll feel relaxed and ready to get your visa.

I am trying to book an expidite date for me and my wife. I am seeking F1 visa while she is seeking F2 visa. We want to travel together so we planned to go to the embassy here in Ankara - Turkey together being that we live here. Though the odds of my own approval of expidite date is high because of the 60 days period before the start of my program in August, i can't say the same for her. Can anyone tell me if she stands a chance of being given an expidite date too if mine is approved. Thanks my people.

You can pay any one you want first but remember sevis fee must be paid before going for visa interview because the receipt is needed during visa interview. You can feel free to contact me for Sevis fee payment.

Also I advise you don’t pay your visa fee via mobile app if you don’t have Internet banking on your GTBank because of the visa fee receipt that you will need to print.

If you pay via GTBank app you won’t see the receipt unless you go and login via your internet banking and download the receipt.

1.Can I book a date for interview before paying for my SEVIS fee, I don't have the money for the fee now until April.

2. Can I apply for visa with school A, and later Edit the school to B, before the interview.

The reason Is that I av gotten my form1-20 from Troy, CSU,Findlay but just got admission with Buffalo today and it might take time before they issue me form 1-20.and it is the school I want to go.

I need to apply to get dates, with what I at hand.

Please I need answer to question 1 &2.

Good day all. I am quite new here but have gone through a few posts by people on this platform and I must say God will continue to bless everyone that has contributed immensely to humanity via this medium.

Please, I will like to ask what advise should be given to a family of five (5) where the wife just got a PhD admission in the USA and will like to go with the entire family especially because of the number of years for the program, and because of the very tight work schedule of the spouse, taking proper care of the children would be a bit challenging for him for the number of years the wife wont be available.(Note: both mother-in-laws are aged).

Again, home ties seems to be very key in visa interview. The wife is also considering the support the spouse will be able to provide for her if they all go together in terms of the taking care of the children ( obodo oyinbo, na every man for himself).

Sorry, my post is becoming too lengthy, please, gurus and my seniors in the house, your advise and comments would be highly appreciated on this matter. Thanks and God bless you all.

See what you'll do. Go to that ceac website ceac.state.gov , chose your location and as soon as you do that, you'll something like "test photo" , then click on it and follow the instruction. Do that let's see what the response will be. If it says photo background not okay, edit the photo and increase the brightness a little bit.

Or let me ask, did you scan and crop the image yourself?

Mine wasn't cancelled thankfully. My date is April 29th... I checked my profile no change or how did you know it was cancelled. Did they send a mail or something.

Mine was suppose to be towards April ending and it was cancelled as well. You can still be able to wait for more dates to pop up. I am still waiting as well. You can book any date you wish to book as far it is within that 120 days prior to your start of program.
