Dear Nairalanders, i am not really good posting my issues online. But this time i need your advise.

I have been married for 9 years now and my sister inlaw has been living with us( I, my wife and the kids) for the past 6 years now, although I am not always around.
I have never imagine any negative thoughts toward her. I always see her like my younger sister, i have been taken care of her. She is 28 years old and I can't really says if she have a boyfriend cos I haven't see one around her. She is a boss in her working place but yet i foots all her bills in the house without bothering anyone, including my wife that is also a boss .Until of recent she started wearing seductive clothes around the house, Some how i started developing feelings for her As if she knows, she continues wearing those clothes and started showing more caring towards me.
I can't believed that i am having feelings for my sister inlaw cos i am a disciplined man to the core. Even during university days girls do come to my apartment passed a night without molesting them. I am well brought up. But is like that disciplined man in me started degenerating as i began to see this girl in my dreams.
There was a night i returned from travelled, i started feeling the urge to go to her room. My wife almost cought me that night cos we lives in 3 bedroom, I have my own room, my wife have her own and my sister inlaw have her own room. So we sleep in separate rooms except some occasions my wife decided to stay in my room. That night i was pimping through her door. I have been trying to control my feelings and I believed the reason why I have not sleep with her is because i am not always around and I also the fear of traditions implications of sleeping with sister inlaw . And my wife is not helping matters, she can leave both of us alone in d house and go to all night church program and the children will be sleeping.

I don't really know what to do. Should I tell my wife so that we can get her accommodation or just let the sleeping dog be. Though I don't really want her to leave cos is my wife and the children are alone in the compound. I just want to kill that urge before I return from travel.

During my nysc in gombe state, we noticed that during extreme dryness and heat cockroaches gravitate towards damp areas around homes to quench thirst. And if they don't fine water, they bite humans during sleep just to quench thirst

I woke up this morning to discover a dead cockroach in my pot of soup. Immediately I notice it I quickly removed it and boil the soup for 10 mins . The issue is I am not ready to dispose it because there is still much protein it. To get a new soup in this harsh economy is very costly. I need advice to avoid getting sick. Kindly help a brother.

The Nigerian government has made it worse by not investigating how recruitment is being done in most public organisations... The same set of Nigerians that God miraculously gave a Job after so many struggles will be the same person to be selling Job slots in govt agency to other fellow Nigerians. I saw a guy post on nairaland about anyone interested in Junior Cadres of NDLEA.. He is apparently a staff in the agency and he want to sell other peoples slot for money... This means people who are competent will be denied of the job and they will sell it to incompetent ones..

I had to message him on whatsapp and this guy told me I will have to pay 500k . 500k for a Waec applicant, so how much will BSc pay? Maybe 1m to 1.5m. Who are these people selling govt jobs to the citizens? Are we supposed to pay for government jobs before we can be employed again...

I had to screenshot his message before he started deleting bcox I told him that he is doing wrong.. Nigerians, what is wrong with us? Why can't we do thing as it should be done? Why do we like taking advantage of people's situations..?

Good morning all


Firstly, i am a student in one reputable state university in this country. So, there is this cleaning company I've been working with for more than 3years now which sustained me. as a street sweeper and student i usually woke up as early as 5am to go to work sweep and clean my lot before 7am and return to prepare for school.

But about 3months ago the state Governor decided to end their contact and bring another company to handle the job. We were lucky part of the contract is that they'd still work with us.

So the new company came in we're very happy that they even increased our salary to 15k per month instead of 12k that we were being paid before. Infact, they also employed more cleaners since they got additional lot.


Sadly, it has been 3month now we're working with this new company but they never paid us a dime and we are about to resume school new session and I have not save anything for registration as I usually do saved 8k every month and manage 4k.

What do you think we shall do

Shall we report then to public complains office or
Stage a protest to government house since the state Governor once said in a radio station that he paid the money.

I work in a lounge in sabo and i'm paid 11000 a month.I have served my boss faithfully and dilligently for months during the course of my stay in this shop despite being owed salary.Even when other workers left citing underpayment and workload,i still stayed.
It happened that during governorship election season,our lounge was robbed.The robbers made away with 194,000 new naira notes my boss kept in his office. what was more shocking that the robbery was a clean one meaning the robbers had access to the key to his office.It's only me and my boss that have the keys so I was questioned and interrogated.I didn't know anything about it and so I said.I was beaten and bruised.

I and my gal are planning settling down despite genotype not matching , she's AS same with me, but because of medical technological advancements, we visited a specialist who told us that we can still marry if we so desired to be together.

Just that If we can afford the cost of going for foetus testing whenever she's pregnant so as to ascertain the genotype of the child. According to him if the test is conducted and it turns out to be AA or AS, we can keep it, but if it's SS we determate, I have spoken to my gal and we are yet a decide despite this seeming goodnews that we can still be together if we choose to, she really wanted us together same with me.
On my part, I have been in terrible and toxic relationship for the past 4years that almost claimed my life but God served from her. Hello all, I need to know if I'm doing some things right or over reacting.

My wife and I just married some months ago and we just spend here and there on stuffs. I bought food stuffs in the house and told her I will place her on 40k monthly to cover for soups and all and I expect her to add to it if it's not enough.

I foot all bills- house rent, Power, and all . She earns a decent 6 figures salary also which is slightly higher than mine without the allowances I get.

She expects me to still give her another allowance apart from the 49k I give her for food.

Each time she buys stuff in the house she always want me to pay back in full; most times, I just pay a part of it which she always frowns and complains about.

It appears she has a notion that her money is her money and mine is ours.

My income is more than hers though.

Do you think I should still give her personal pocket money?
