It simply shows you the level of hatred in Nigeria and mind you some of these people are top men in the current government. Meanwhile, they want to remain in the same country with people they hate so much, and crazily still expect the country to work or even become prosperous! grin grin grin

Most times, please do not respond because you know these people often have mental disorder brought on them by hate.

The unprovoked war by Fulani herdsmen to starve the entire Igboland through the continued systematic destruction of farmlands MUST STOP!

People, must organize themselves and fight these people until they leave their farms.

This is another video from Amanuke town in Isu Aniocha LGA, Anambra State. In the video, you will clearly see how the herdsmen left the bush and went into planted farmland to graze cattle. The man making the film did so without their notice, else they could have killed him.

This is no time for the people to wait on these stooges called Governors to do anything reasonable. Our people must organize themselves now and defend our homes and communities from these terrorists intent on starving and impoverishing us.

Ebonyi state is getting there gradually. I love their strategy of using direct labor to re-build all township roads, drainages, street lights and planting of flowers & trees cheaply and efficiently around the entire Abakaliki city. No one will believe that this is the capital of a state with the lowest allocation in Nigeria! Prudence of Gov. Dave Umahi with using direct labor for simple projects and township roads has greatly benefited Ebonyi State! Other SE governors only know how to "award" contracts!

I also just love how they continue to open up new areas with wide, durable concrete roads that will remain in good condition while the areas develops. That is the right way to develop. Build durable new roads to open up new areas. Then make sure the new housing developments in the area are according to the highest international standards of urban planning.

Apart from developing the Centenary city (Ochiudo city) in the southeast axis of Abakaliki city, this road opens up the western part of the ever-expanding Abakaliki metropolis (Ishieke area). Notice that the road is a dual-carriage concrete road designed to last while that area develops. This is the approach that all southeast states must adopt in developing our capital cities orderly to ensure solid road access to different axis of our capital cities. Which has so far fallen way below expectation.

I hope an industrial layout has been set aside to encourage heavy and medium industries as well as agro-based industries to process and package all the foodstuff grown in Ebony. That is the only way Ebonyi can begin to retain young people to become employed and live their fullest lives in Abakaliki.

All this talk by Yoruba to massage Igbo ego on how it has been PDP for 2,000 years, Igbo is the only one without a President and other total nonsense blah blah blah are designed by Tinubu to make the 2023 contest a Yoruba versus Igbo election. So they can rig it mercilessly.

I personally don't like Nnamdi Kanu, nor his total lack of tact and strategy. I believe he may have been compromised by the deal he signed in 2017 with the Nigerian army to secretly release him and his parents alive after his home invasion.

However, this guy is also a slowpoke the way he reasons. Whether Nnamdi Kanu dies tomorrow, Igbo still buying investments in the north and other places are already a target for destruction. Nobody can save them from their greed and foolishness. The north will still point to nnamdi Kanu or whatever excuse they feel like to attack Igbos in the north at the end of Buhari regime. Unless, another northerner succeeds Buhari.

So i will advise those Igbos living in the north to make hay while the sun shines. Let me break it down for morons that won't understand the English proverb. Begin to sell off and relocate your assets away from the north now that you can do it. Than wait until you are under pressure of attacks.

Aba is perhaps the greatest Igbo city, yet it was neglected by successive Abia governors since 1999 beginning with Orji Uzor Kalu! Thus, responsible Igbo people have continued to condemn and openly expose the foolhardiness of neglecting Aba, the greatest city with the greatest potential to propel the Abia state, massively increase the IGR, and lead the industrial renaissance of the entire SE region, and opting to focus on developing other mushroom towns in Abia state.

If Abia Governor turn a new leaf and begin a massive urban renewal of Aba instead of senseless propaganda on the internet with half educated brats, then i will openly acknowledge and praise their new attitude towards Aba. It appears that Gov Okezie Ikpeazu has at last woken up to his responsibility and decided to rescue Aba that was abandoned since 1999. Many reports from non-government sources indicate that some major streets in Aba were being reconstructed with concrete. But has not been completed.

My advise to his propagandists is just to post the finished roads and their names, people will verify if its true or not. Also, people will verify if its a recent picture or not.

Aba has several youtube vlogers. In time, we shall begin to see some of these improved roads in their vlogs and Gov. Okezie will not need the services of amateur touts to convince anybody.

NJPot:
It is obvious that Nigeria is not yet one nation. Nigeria still plays regional politics. Developed countries like US, France, Germany, UK and so on or even Ghana don't care what region the president comes from. Tribalism in Nigeria got worst under Buhari and Tinubu's style of politics. Most appointments under this regime went to northerners. And Tinubu wants to become president or install one of his erand boys as president after Buhari so that he would continue the tribalism from where Buhari stopped.

But Igbos are ready for Tinubu and his boys. Igbos would vote massively for a northerner in 2023 if APC does not field a real and correct Igbo man as their presidential candidate. The real Igbos in APC are Chris Ngige and Ogbonnaya Onu. Rochas and Orji Uzo Kalu no follow.

I repeat. Igbos would vote massively for another northerner in 2023 after all they have not completed the Yaradua's tenure. It is either APC Igbo president or PDP northern president. Chikena.
[/s]

What is even wrong with these Yoruba hatchet writers? So was Atiku a southerner for Igbos to vote him? Igbos will massively support a progressive northerner in 2023 if they will meet some of our conditions to remain part of this country.

Igbos have always allied with progressive, moderate northerners. They saw that Buhari was an extremist Fulani chauvinist and rejected him. They were right!

Yorubas should leave Igbos alone and carry on with their Shofisticated politics of deceit. One day, a player will play himself grin

This picture holds the key to portable water supply to every home in the state. It does not look like much, but it has all the ingredients used abroad to supply water to every community. 1. a small overhead tank, a small office were the pumps used to fill the tank are located and about 2 or 3 deep boreholes on the land to feed the water tank.

If the authorities can liase with President-Generals of town unions to replicate this type of small-town water works in every community. It will be fantastic!
The people will pay a token each month to maintain the facility and perhaps the solar panel used to pump water from the boreholes into the overhead tank every day.

PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by ChimaAdeoye:
OreMI22:
Even if the entire airport will not be completed under Obiano, he could set up a concrete plan for the airport and airport city to be completed according to the original vision.

Sam Mbakwe started Owerri airport. He knew very well that he could never complete it. But he developed a clear plan in phases to enable the succeeding administrations complete it without sacrificing their own programs.

[b]Another important project is the airport city project. Now we know that waiting for the airport to be completed before the airport city is planned and developed will simply result in the rise of concrete of slums in that area by the time the airport is completed.

Therefore, nothing stops the state government NOW to grade the streets/roads in the airport city area, to properly mark out the plots and allow private sector to develop the place now as the airport itself is being built. The reason why most Nigerian cities look like slums, except Abuja and perhaps in the future Abakaliki, is that they are NEVER planned before the buildings go up.

Now is the opportunity to plan the airport city and demarcate the future roads & streets by simply grading (NOT TAR) the roads. So that the plots are well aligned in a straight line and the roads are well interconnected with many roundabouts like modern airport cities, before people build up the area the way villages are developed haphazardly.
Gbam! A drive through Awada, the most populous housing estate in Nigeria clearly illustrates your point about purpose planning an area before development of buildings.

The video precisely captured the reason why we should plan housing layouts in advance! If this place had wider roads and better planning, it would be the most breath-taking location in Nigeria. However, lack of planning makes an otherwise beautiful estate with modern buildings to appear unsightly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3Rtdr9CVIo&t=315s

The issue of portable water for the citizens raised in the video must be addressed by the government! It is criminal negligence that citizens are left without water supply and the state government isn't even doing anything to address it. Even if the state does not have money, it can use the apparatus of government to set up organizations to provide water to tenants! Every medium town in America has its water supply. Usually from a deep borehole pumped into an overhead tank, from where it flows by gravity to every house in the town. We need a policy to make this idea part of building estates in Anambra state.

Can the State government make a law mandatorily setting up landlords association for every housing estate/Layout?
These landlords association must charge extra 500 naira per flat/month and the money used to build and maintain the housing estate's mini-water works?
This law should make it mandatory that every mass housing estate must have a mini-water works built and managed by the landlords association.

Anambra State Ministry Of Diaspora Affairs, Culture And Tourism And Entourage From The Presidency Visit Tourist Attraction, Set To Attract Foreign Investor To Develop Sector.

By Valentine Mbadugha (ABS News)

Anambra state Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, Culture and Tourism under the new Commissioner, Dr Christian Madubuko has embarked on assessment tour of tourist attractions in Anambra state with a view of harnessing tourism potentials for the development of Anambra state.

They visited Ogba-ukwu Cave and Waterfall, Owerre-ezukala in Orumba South Council area and will continue tomorrow with mOgbunike Cave, Igbo-ukwu Bronze Museum, among other Tourist centers in Anambra state.

Speaking shortly after the visit, Dr Madubuko expressed joy over the great tourism potentials of the state, and noted with assurance that if well developed, they will generate huge revenue for the state. He commended the efforts of Governor Willie Obiano in repositioning tourism in Anambra state.

Among the Commissioners entourage were the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mr Emma Umeokana, the Transition Committee Chairman, Orumba South Council area, Chief Raymond Onyegu among others.

The tour began with a courtesy call on the palace of Igwe Thomas Ogbonnaya of Owerre-ezukala.
I am so glad to see that Obiano is taking steps to make these caves accessible and train tour guides to tell something interesting about them. There is a very funny misconception of Nigerians about what tourism is.

Perhaps due to the deceit of what the British led us to believe tourism in Africa should be, based on their racist inclination of Africa as the strange, dark continent with little fun in it. An average Nigerian thinks tourism is the same as Archeology and Entomology. Go and check definitions of this and you will understand that tourism has nothing to do with these subjects per se. Unless you develop the archeological site and package the story of the area in a way that it becomes attractive to people who are not archeologists.

Nigerians will typically find a hole in the ground somewhere and simply declare it a "tourist" attraction. The problem isn't really calling it a tourist attraction, it is the sad fact that they will leave it in its primitive inaccessible form and actually expect normal people who are not interested in archeology and entomolgy to board a flight from their countries and come to visit the hole in the ground!

Anything of any touristic value must be developed in a way that people can comfortable access the facility and move through it without any danger of bodily injury. While learning an important historic knowledge in the process. That is what makes a site to have touristic value. Else, in it's raw natural state without steps and trained tour guides, it has no touristic attraction for most decent people.

Bottom-line, we need to educate our people that archeological sites does not simply equate to a "tourist attraction". Unless they are developed and packaged in a way that makes it attractive for people to visit and have fun while being there. Infact, we are better off developing our "Iwa ji" festival, mmawu festival and other traditional festivals as tourist attractions than simply pointing to caves and wondering why nobody will leave Europe or America to come and visit a desolate cave in Africa. Unless an important historic story is attached to the cave and use of trained tour guides to accurately tell the story, and the place is very easily accessible to drive there, and to walk through the cave without bodily harm to themselves or their children.

Umu afonja trying so hard to pose as Igbos. I won't waste time reading your long epistle nor responding to your total the crap using multiple monikers trying to deflect blame from FG on their evil deeds in Igboland.

To begin with, i am no politician's person. They cannot afford to pay me, and i say this with all humility. I am decently wealthy at my age. However, if i were to say i have routed for any politician, it would be Peter Obi. Go through my posts and you will confirm it.

Let me just state that Obiano has done fantastically well. Even with the fewer resources at his disposal. Obiano has also built more than N31 billion naira worth of Federal roads. Added to Obi's more than N20 billion naira spent on Federal roads, Anambra is owed more than N52 billion naira by the FG! But Buhari has NOT PAID ONE KOBO and will NEVER PAY because he deliberately wanted Federal roads in Igboland to be terrible to punish them! Buhari's sick vindictive character is not in question, but it should not be a reason why people should feel embarrassed showing the failure of FG. Else, they will come out and brazenly lie to you they have done every Federal road, the way Zainab Ahmed told you they distributed COVID-19 Palliatives to everyone in the SE, even when she knows they deliberately avoided the SE in distribution of the FG palliatives! . Therefore, If you are embarrassed to see the state of federal roads in Igboland, then i must have done a good job!

Obiano has continued to intervene in Federal projects when there is an emergency that threaten to kill our people. For example, there were erosion projects identified in 2017 that would swallow people homes. The Federal Government came and made their usual empty promises and abandoned the people. More than 50 buildings caved in until Obiano recently intervened, even without the massive funds at his disposal. Even the 100 foot erosion site at Nnewi and the more recent Nkisi Aroli erosion sites where Obiano has spent close to N10 billion naira on both sites! So it is silly to conjure the crap that Obiano does not do his best intervening on Federal Government projects to save our people. Even when he knows the toxic anti-Igbo Federal Government would not reimburse him.

The dirty old roads just spoilt this video.

The road is the Onitsha - Aguleri road also called Nkisi road or 33 road.

It is a Federal road and Obiano opted to dualize it to ease access to the Onitsha suburbs at Nkwelle Ezunaka and Nsugbe. But the FG REFUSED Anambra State Govt. request to dualize the road. The worst part is that even the FG itself also refused to do any type of rehabilitation on the road!

That is part of the terrible frustration with the governance structure of Nigeria today. The Federal Govt. will deliberately marginalize a region by refusing to do basic infrastructure as roads, then they will also bar anyone or the state government from providing the amenity!

CrimeRe: U.S Treasury Sanctions 6 Nigerian Cyber Actors For Targeting U.S Businesses by ChimaAdeoye: 12:36pm On Jun 17, 2020
thompsons:
WASHINGTON – Today, in a coordinated action with the U.S. Department of Justice, the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) took action against six Nigerian nationals for conducting an elaborate scheme to steal over six million dollars from victims across the United States. The individuals designated today targeted U.S. businesses and individuals through deceptive global threats known as business email compromise (BEC) and romance fraud. American citizens lost over $6,000,000 due to these individuals’ BEC fraud schemes, in which they impersonated business executives and requested and received wire transfers from legitimate business accounts. Money was also stolen from innocent Americans by romance fraud, in which the designees masqueraded as affectionate partners to gain trust from victims.

“Cybercriminals prey on vulnerable Americans and small businesses to deceive and defraud them,” said Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin. “As technological advancement increasingly offers malicious actors tools that can be used for online attacks and schemes, the United States will continue to protect and defend at-risk Americans and businesses.”

Malicious actors are exploiting the increased availability of online tools and technology to target at-risk Americans. The six individuals designated today manipulated their victims in order to gain access to usernames, passwords, and bank accounts in furtherance of the scheme. Several of those who engaged in romance fraud used online tools, including social media and email, to further their social engineering tactics.

OFAC closely coordinated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which today released details regarding its indictment against members of the conspiracy. The FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) receives romance fraud victim reports from all ages, education, and income brackets. However, the elderly, women, and those who have lost a spouse are often targeted.

E.O. 13694 SANCTIONS
Today’s action includes the designation of six individuals pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 13694, as amended by E.O. 13757, which targets malicious cyber-enabled activities, including those related to the significant misappropriation of funds or economic resources for private financial gain.
As a result of today’s action, all property and interests in property of the designated persons that are in the possession or control of U.S. persons or within or transiting the United States are blocked, and U.S. persons generally are prohibited from dealing with them.

Richard Uzuh (Uzuh) was designated pursuant to E.O. 13694, as amended, for having engaged in cyber-enabled activities that have the purpose or effect of causing a significant misappropriation of funds or economic resources for private financial gain.

From at least early 2015 to September 2016, Uzuh and an accomplice sent emails to victims appearing as though they were coming from a company’s true business executive, and would request and receive wire transfers of funds from the businesses’ accounts. Uzuh would often target over 100 businesses in a single day. A loss in excess of $6,300,000 can be attributed to the BEC scheme led by Uzuh and an accomplice.

Micheal Olorunyomi (Olorunyomi) was designated pursuant to E.O. 13694, as amended, for having engaged in cyber-enabled activities that have the purpose or effect of causing a significant misappropriation of funds or economic resources for private financial gain.

From September 2015 to June 2017, Olorunyomi and an accomplice led a scheme that victimized Americans through the use of romance fraud. Olorunyomi and his co-conspirators created fictitious profiles on dating websites and posed as individuals looking for love. He developed online relationships with victims to either obtain funds directly from victims, or used their bank accounts to funnel fraudulently obtained money. Losses exceeding $1,000,000 can be attributed to the romance fraud scheme led by Olorunyomi and his accomplice.

Alex Ogunshakin (Ogunshakin) was designated pursuant to E.O. 13694, as amended, for having provided financial, material, or technological support for Uzuh.
Ogunshakin conducted BEC and romance scams. Ogunshakin provided Uzuh and other co-conspirators with bank accounts that were used to receive fraudulent wire transfers. Additionally, Ogunshakin assisted Uzuh with contacting victim companies and he conducted his own BEC schemes.

Felix Okpoh (Okpoh) was designated pursuant to E.O. 13694, as amended, for having provided financial, material, or technological support to Uzuh

Okpoh conducted romance scams and engaged in money laundering, working closely with Uzuh and others involved in the scheme. Okpoh provided hundreds of U.S. bank accounts that were used to receive fraudulent wire transfers from victims of BEC and romance fraud.

Nnamdi Benson (Benson) was designated pursuant to E.O. 13694, as amended, for having provided financial, material, or technological support to Uzuh.
Benson conducted romance scams and money laundering, working closely with Uzuh. Benson communicated with multiple romance fraud victims to obtain their bank account details, and provided the account information to Uzuh to receive fraudulent wire transfers from U.S. businesses.

Abiola Kayode (Kayode) was designated pursuant to E.O. 13694, as amended, for having provided financial, material, or technological support to Uzuh.
Kayode conducted BEC and romance scams, working closely with Uzuh and others involved in the scheme. Kayode provided U.S. bank accounts to individuals involved in the scheme, one of which was then used to receive a $69,150 fraudulent wire transfer.

Identifying information on the individuals and entity designated today.
Treasury is committed to responding to evolving online threats that target organizations and individuals in the United States. In July 2019, Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) released an advisory noting that it received over 32,000 reports involving almost $9 billion in attempted theft from BEC fraud schemes targeting U.S financial institutions and their customers since its 2016 advisory. In another ongoing effort, recovered funds through FinCEN’s Rapid Response Program, in collaboration with law enforcement, recently surpassed $920 million. Under the program, when U.S. law enforcement receives a BEC complaint from a victim or a financial institution, the relevant information is forwarded to FinCEN, which moves quickly to track and recover the funds.
