The cowardly IPOB will not retaliate or do anything against the tribes of the man that did this to them.
Instead, they will put the United Nations, United Kingdom, United Africa, United SouthAfrica, United Asia, United Europe etc on notice!
If you are ready to die, then make the lives of these people count by taking the lives of those people or their families or tribal affiliations who kill you defenselessly.

This is so sad that these misled youths have cowards as their leaders who enjoy wasting their lives on crap..

The Islamists have continued to target Christians and even kill Christians.
Each time what do the Christians do? --- Pray more for your enemy than stand and fight! The idiocy MUST stop! Christians have a God given right of freedom and defend their freedom if need be. Rather than hide behind "praying"

In Joshua 6: 1-27, God himself asked the Israelites to march round the city walls for 7 days and on the 7th day to Priests must blow the trumpets and every Israelite must give a loud shout. This happened as instructed and the walls of Jericho came down.

The Priests and Pastors in Nigeria have refused to blow the trumpet and so that the people of Nigeria will yell out a loud shout against these evil regime. They can continue to hide themselves out of fear for this regime until they are all rounded up and imprisoned.

Imo state needs ONLY 2 items to thrive:

1.) Getting Federal Government approval for International Flights to land in Owerri

2.) Revolution of building Modular Refineries (5,000 barrels/day refineries) to supply petroleum products to entire SE and Middle belt.

These two events will revolutionize the economy of Imo state and make it a state where good high paying jobs are available in large quantity.

Will Nigeria ever let go of biafra without war how possible is that? Someone should plead explain..what strategies do ipob have on ground to actualize biafra.
You cannot just hope for no war. You MUST prepare yourself with money, training of volunteer youths abroad and good access to weapons. Like the Fulani herdsmen that only attack unarmed villagers, once they see you are ready to give them a bloody nose, they will leave you alone.

So this is where the old English adage:

"If you want peace, prepare for war"

PoliticsRe: My Perception Changed After Taking Out Some Time To Listen To Nnamdi Kanu by ChimaAdeoye:
Chimok:
Back then I listened to his broadcast for few times and the only thing I was hearing was the barrage of insults and name calling directed mainly at the Fulanis.
To be sincere, that got me a bit scared, should this people retaliate on account of this verbal attacks.
Then is the paradise he was promising that will come to biafra if it gets independence and I felt the man was seeking for self popularity while making fortune deceiving his followers.
Somehow I started listening to him during the lockdown and I have learnt and understood a lot.
Though I may still not agree with him in some issues but I ve realised how knowledgeable he is about Nigeria, Africa and the world in general
I just wish we youths not just southeasterners can make out little more time to listen to his broadcast.
The problem with Nnamdi Kanu is TACTLESSNESS.

There are things you should not say so that your message is not distracted and you a making the right connection. Nnamdi Kanu not only insults Ohaneze, Igbo Governors, Igbo elders, Igbo Bishops, Igbo traditional rulers, Igbo society and Buhari. he now also insults The Queen of England, the governments of all the western democracies and even calls the entire black race inferior and ignorant compared to white people.

I am not in disagreement with Nnamdi Kanu that black people may indeed be a defective creature of nature, but he didn't have to say all that so that he isn't distracted from the core message. Also, as Nnamdi Kanu selectively promotes strategies he knows would hurt Biafrans, it exposes the fact that he has been compromised with money and doing the biddings of unseen hands. I persoannly stopped trusting Nnamdi Kanu a long time ago.

Nnamdi Kanu carries on like someone a mission to use "Biafra bait' to hoodwink Igbos and rubbish every Igbo leader to emerge as the "only Igbo leader". Sadly, he cannot lead and his thoughtless strategy has totally failed. Worse still, he behaves as though anyone who has a slightly different opinion from him should be killed as a saboteur! When in fact, he is probably the saboteur that our people have gradually began to see for who he truly is. Else, why would Nnamdi Kanu tell Igbos it serves them right when Fualni herdsmen kill people in their farms? Even if you think not everyone supports Biafra, how do you know that the people killed did not support Biafra? Why does Nnamdi Kanu NEVER ask Igbos to defend themselves against the murderous herdsmen? Instead he will be quick to call on Igbos to attack their elders and governors? Are the Igbo elders more threat to lives and properties than the murderous herdsmen?

Nnamdi Kanu is being used by the powers that be to sow confusion in Igboland by turning the people against their own leadership and turning the Igboman against the Ijaw man or other Biafrans. Their hope being that Igbos will spend all their energy fighting other Biafrans & their leaders. While criminally neglecting the activities of Fulani herdsmen and their compatriots in Abuja to starve the Biafrans and destroy their livelihoods completely. Only compound f00ls still believe nnamdi Kanu hasn't been compromised since his mysterious release by Burutai in 2019. Biafra is an inevitable outcome of Nigeria's tribalism and hatred of its own people purely based on their regional origins. Nnamdi Kanu is an inhibitor not a facilitator in the inevitable outcome of the Biafran state. Only the undiscerning minds are f00led by Kanu's antics and deceit.

Anambra State government should declare an urban renewal program to upgrade Nnewi township roads.

Neewi has remained the only city in the state where the township roads have had little or no improvement for more than 20 years. You always hear about how rich the city is, in reality the sight of the roads and environment depicts something else. I am begging the Anambra state government to come to the aid of Nnewi roads they way they did roads in fegge, Aguleri, Awka and other urban areas of the state. The state of Nnewi roads has continued to be a total disgrace to Anambra state government. Please something should be done.

Nnewi people should also take politics seriously and aspire to rule Anambra state to develop the city. It appears Anambra governors are content with treating Nnewi as a rural town rather than the urban cosmopolitan city it has become.

Observe in the video below (From 4:16 to 4:48) that Aguleri no longer has untarred roads.
Meanwhile, Nnewi has been left in the same rot it experienced under Peter Obi (because of his hatred for Dame Etiaba) till date.

Anyhow, since Julius Berger is building this bridge, it already knows that it can build multiple flyovers on the same spot by simply making it higher. Germany is replete with such flyover, some of which was built by Julius Berger. Lagos also has one or two spots that a flyover went over another. So stop lying. Just say they think it will cost less to demolish and build another flyover than build a standard one over the existing one.

Stop making this type of mischievous posts. This type of post is what makes people think there is nothing happening. Why do you have to repost the same pictures and try to pass them for recent pictures?

You could very well have posted the site in 1900, when it was a thick forest, and post the site in 2000 when houses were being built there, and post exactly the same pictures of the stone=based runway already posted for more than 2 weeks now. Please refrain from this type of behavior. It brings more despair than the hope you are trying to build.

Credible data is the biggest challenge in Nigeria. This is because Nigeria is ruled by a minority ethnic group that has used data falsification to claim majority. Now they falsify every government data as a matter of policy.

The only truth we can have an idea about what is going on in Nigeria is using non-governmental data such as telecoms companies or other national companies to know where their consumption is higher.

My Question is this: Can The North-Led FG successfully Quell a United South Rebellion? Do they Have enough Influence to control the Security Agencies In the South?
Northern Nigeria cannot even stop a rebellion in Ibibio land without massive assistance from the international community, talkmore an entire region or the south.

What is keeping Nigeria together is fear of the unknown. Nobody can be sure that new independent countries such as Oduduwa or Biafra will not be plagued by the same demons of corrupt politicians, tribalism and nepotism as we have seen in Nigeria. So people want to be sure before making their move and deciding if its indeed better to break away.
PoliticsRe: CIVIL WAR- The Igbo General That Fought For Nigeria by ChimaAdeoye: 12:34pm On Jul 24, 2020
Hotice085:
On May 30,1967 The republic of Biafra was declared. What followed was a bloody civil war that consumed more than four million souls. Nigeria was in turmoil and peace efforts failed. The most prominent was the Aburi accord reached .

Ironically, there are crop of men whose kith and kin were either part of Biafra or identified with the movement but still chose to fight on the side of Nigeria. Among them are the likes of Godwin Alabi-Isama, Ike Nwachukwu, Cyril Iweze, George Kurubo, Isaac Boro, Alfred Diette-Spiff, Emmanuel Ekpo, Okoi Arikpo, Godwin Ally and Kenule Saro-Wiwa among others.

One of the most prominent of this men was Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu’s.His mother was from Katsina, his father an Ovim, Isuikwuato man. He was born and raised in the north.Nwachukwu joined the Army and was under the protection of Brigadier Hassan Katsina, a Katsina Prince and Army Chief during the war.

He was a lieutenant at the break of the coup and was moved to army head quarters provosts, and later redeployed to join Lt Col. Muritala Muhamed’s division. There he became a company commander. He commanded company battalion all through Ore road and confrontations to the banks of Niger to Onisha. Not only that he fought against his people , Nwachukwu was one of the principal actors from the Nigerian side during the war .

According to him "I fought in the Nigerian Civil War as a Federal Army officer, principally because I believe in Nigeria´s unity. That belief remains my conviction that all Nigerians regardless of ethnic, religious or regional origin have the right to live, work and prosper anywhere and everywhere in Nigeria"

He was later appointed military Governor of Imo State. From 1986 to 1987 he was Minister for Employment, Labour and Productivity and from December 1987 to December 1989, he was Minister of Foreign Affairs. In September 1990 he was re-appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. He retired as a Major General

Talk of those who fought for Nigeria, Alabi-Isama, a Lt.Col.in 1969, was a prominent actor. He did not really know he was from Ikilibi, Utagba Uno in the Igbo speaking part of Mid-West. He lost his father as a kid and followed his Yoruba mother.

He was a Principal Staff Officer in the war fighting on the side of Nigeria and was moved form the Second Division to Benjamin Adekunle’s Third Marine Commandos and ended up with Col. Olusegun Obasanjo. He retired as a Brigadier in 1977.

Cyril Iweze also fought for Nigeria and much later he was posted to ECOMOG in 1990 as Chief of Staff.

Major Isaac Boro, on his part led a group of Niger Delta militia that declared the Niger Delta Republic on February 23, 1966 and fought with federal forces for twelve days before being defeated. Boro and his men were jailed for treason. However, the federal regime of General Yakubu Gowon granted him amnesty on the eve of the Nigerian civil war in May 1967. He then enlisted and was commissioned as a major in the Nigerian army . He fought on the side of the Federal Government but was killed under mysterious circumstances in active service in 1968.

General Kurubowa ,who was the third Commander of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and the first indigenous Chief of Air Staff joined Biafra but later defected to Nigeria.Kurubo grouse was that Ojukwu whom he did not recognize as a superior officer put him in charge of logistics. Serving as the Eastern commander of logistics, Kurubo defected from Biafra to the Federal Government. He was later made Nigerian ambassador to the Soviet Union.
(Copied )
Ike Nwachukwu said the reason he fought for Nigeria against Biafra was because he believed Igbos were better off in Nigeria than a small country ~ Biafra.

I wish i can meet Gen Nwachukwu now and ask him if he still believes the crap called "One Nigeria" grin grin grin

Highly commendable!

If we can somehow manage to replicate this along many other major roads in the state, that would help purify the air we breathe and make the state conducive for habitation. Watch videos of our city neighborhoods and see how total lack of tree planting has truly made what would have been a great neighborhood into a concrete slum. You rarely find trees over a vast area. Don't we know that trees purify the air of the smoke and CO2 added by cars and other industrial pollutants? I wish someone can do a study on the number of death due to air pollution so that we can put the cost of this behavior of never planting trees into perspective.

So sad to see Julius Berger demolish the Obosi flyover just to build their own flyover at the same spot. Why didn't they shift a little and build their own?

In America, flyovers built in 1950s are still there and they simply add new flyovers at a slightly different spot to help ease traffic. Must everyone be forced into one flyover all the time? Soon the same flyover will always be congested like Lagos flyovers due to traffic.

This is just sad to see them demolish a whole flyover in a country and a region with insufficient road network and flyovers.
