cjrane: Forget that all the noise about Biafra. 99.9% of Igbos know it will be worse than Nigeria.Tribalism shall have a new word for it,since everyone is supposed to speak a common language. But it will surely be a major factor.
The only thing keeping Igbos from killing themselves in a protracted tribal war is the hatred on them from Hausa,Yoruba inside NIGERIA.
Truth be told?

HA HA NOT NEXT YEAR NOW huh huh huh huh ??ECONOMISTS PROJECTIONS SHOWED PAKISTAN WAS GONNA REACH THE $TRILLION MARK THIS YEAR. WE HAVEN'T SEEN THAT grin grin grin grin grin

IN THE PAST "IVORY COAST" WAS DUBBED AS THE "FUTURE GIANT OF WEST AFRICA" WHERE ARE THEY huh huh huh huh huh

LASTLY HORUS, IN 25 YEARS NIGERIA WILL BE BEGGING FOR "OIL FROM SOUTHER AND EAST AFRICA". YA'LL WILL CONTINUE TO DECLINE. YOUR GROWTH DECLINED FROM &% TO 6% LAST YEAR.

THE PROJECTION DONE IN THE PAST DIDN'T KNOW THAT "KENYA,NAMIBIA,MADAGASCAR,SOUTH AFRICA,MOZAMBIQUE ETC..HAD OIL AND GAS".

WE WILL SHOW YOU HOW NATURAL RESOURCES ARE USED. "JOBURG" WAS BUILT THRU ITS OWN WEALTH "GOLD" IF U DRIVE AROUND JOBURG YOU WILL SEE MINE DUMPS SHOWING ACTIVITIES OF THE PAST. SAME CAN BE SAID WITH "KMBERLEY" BUILT OUT OF DIAMOND MONEY.

Same can be said with our Neighbours BOTSWANA(Note Batswana of Botswana are related to SA Batswana, actually most SA Batswana have relatives in Botswana) AND NAMIBIA.
Men,
Another deluded South African product of very very poor quality educational system.Does not know simple subjects such as geography nor even even world population.Should i then expect you to know maths, science or economics?

You call Nigeria "Tiny" yet the population of children born in Nigeria from 2006-2012 have already surpassed the entire South African population of 50 million! grin grin grin grin grin grin To have a debate with you illiterate South Africans can be so daunting, because you guys cannot stay on any topic nor answer any questions directly.

Anyhow, in 1900, Jo'burg was already a world renowned city, while Lagos was a village swamp. In 1960,Jo'burg was amongst the world's biggest cities while Lagos was just a small town.
In 2010, Lagos is as big as Jo'burg with infrastructure at par with it.Imagine what Lagos will be in 2020.

May i remind you that SA has had a well constituted government since 1900.While Nigeria only started having such development oriented governments from 1999.South Africa's infrastructural edge over Nigeria specifically "Power,Agriculture and Roads" was built by so called "RACIST WHITEMEN" and is being rapidly closed with the construction of IPP's, Agricultural revolution and rebuilding of critical infrastructure around the country.

You speak of Nigeria's growth being 6%?(actually 7.2%) while not speaking of "Developed" SA's 1% growth. grin grin grin grin grin grin
Nigeria does not need any lessons on how to murder mine workers from the vicious South Africans. We are a civilized country that respect labor laws and not like South African savages brutally killing hundreds of miners simply for asking for pay rise.Nigeria is projected to rank the 13th biggest economy in the world. Where is SA in that list? Nigeria is the future and South Africa with all its viciousness and xenophobia belong to the trash can of the past, whether sick south african morons like you accept that fact or not.

THE 7 LINKS U SHOWED ME AREN'T WORTH OVER $52 BILLION, U CLAIMED EACH WAS WORTH $1BILLION. MEANING WE'RE COMPARING "SA'S $52BILLION STANDING INFRUSTSRUCTURE SPENDING WITH YOUR "WISHY WASHY $7BILLION small malls".

IN S.A. THE GOVERNMENT HAS ITS ROLE, WHILE THE BUSINESS/PRIVATE SECTOR HAS ITS ROLE.

NOTE: THIS TREND HAS BEEN ADOPTED FROM "APARTHEID ERA".

AGAIN EVERYONE KNOWS S.A. IN THE PAST WAS MAINLY TRADING WITH EURO ZONE AND USA, CHANGED SLIGHTLY AFTER 94 AND SHIFTED TO ASIA AND MID EAST. THOSE WHO ARE "OPEN MINDED" KNOW S.A. SLOW GROWTH IS AFFECTED BY EURO ZONE DECLINE. I CAN SEE WHY NIGERIAN MEN PREFER "SOUTH AFRICAN WOMEN OVER NIGERIAN WOMEN" BY NOW.

Typical South African, they lie and become violent when confronted with the truth.
You have quietly ignored my response showing you that even black south Africans have rejected the cardboard houses you have posted here as "achievement".You have been unable to show me the big projects in SA in the last 5 years because there is NONE!
BTW, South Africa spent only $2billion dollars for the 2010 world cup and reaped much more than it spent.

SOURCE: http://www.post-gazette.com/stories/news/world/south-africa-spent-2-billion-on-world-cup-stadiums-254820/

Since you have no audacious projects in the last 5 years worth at least $3 billion dollars or more presently going on in SA, to match the some of Nigeria's audacious projects costing above that figure started within the last 5 years.Eg Lekki free trade zone(with its own airports and seaports),Eko Atlantic city, Abuja metro line,Lagos Metro line, Port Harcourt Riv-metro, Lagos -Kano modern gauge rail, deep sea ports,Dangote $ 8 billion dollars refineries etc, which have littered Nigeria, it is a waste of time to continue with your childish rant about malls.Which cost less than $30 million dollars.

In 2014, Nigeria shall release the statistics on its re-based GDP, it will finally show that Nigeria has since surpassed SA in GDP size. If can then hug a transformer because you hate to accept the reality. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy wink

BIGER BOY: I am watching how the Mali coup leaders were Forced to start returning to civilian rule throuh economic and military threats by ECOWAS. Do u think ECOWAS or event the AU can force that on Nigeria? Just an hypothetical situation. I think they may bow to pressure from say UN but even that I doubt.
ECOWAS or anyone else does not need to force anyone. Nigeria as we know it will simply melt apart like a super heat candle and not even the coupists can manage what will follow. Needless to say that the armed forces itself will become fragmented almost immediately.

EASTSIDAZ: 15-20 Malls? That mean our major cities are hugely under utitlized. Maybe by the time Shoprite finishes building the Mall Onitsha boys will take a cue from that. It will further revolutionize the market system to indoor trading.
Exactly! I only support the South African department store spreading through Nigeria because it will usher in the modern way of shopping into Nigeria.

Nigerians shall otherwise continue to build village style super-markets if this new trend never open in Nigeria. Similar to how the MTN showed that GSM mobile phone technology is the way of the future when our government was still wasting billions of Naira putting an outdated Analogue-digital telephone exchange in Nitel.Which made indigenous phone companies as RELTEL to copy that and equally waste billions of naira installing useless Analogue phone systems. After MTN,Nigeria now has indigenous GSM companies such as Globacom investing in the right technology and not Analogue phone companies.
Politics › Re: Sorry, naijjaz But The Chinedu Move Will Bite You In The Ass by ChimaAdeoye: 2:11pm On Jun 30, 2013
One of the reasons i detest my country Nigeria is that we believe in half measures.Nigeria is quick to forgive and forget. If Nigeria ever has a diplomatic row with a country that we benefit more from their relationship with us, they would have insisted on Nigeria paying all the fines, dues and levies accrued on that plane. But Nigeria let the Kenyans go scout free and i bet they are just about to repeat that episode again. Because they learnt no lessons.

They carry on as if Nigerians are taking their money. Kenyan Airways alone is a monopoly on Lagos Nairobi route, carrying 99.9 % all Nigerian passengers! A route they are supposed to share with a Nigerian airline. Indeed,if the FG blocks them from that route, the entire airline will collapse. But, if a Nigerian buys a bungalow in Kenya,he is branded a drug baron and deported so that his property can be appropriated by the Kenyan state.
The South Africans repatriate billions of dollars every year from Nigeria, but when Nigerians in that country make a few hundred Rand, they are branded criminals and rogues! The same with the Ghanaian who have taken over almost all teaching jobs in all the private schools in Nigeria. I don't even want to mention the hundreds of thousands of Ghanaian artisans in our construction industry. Nigeria has not deported these illegal people nor imposed taxes on them. But if a Nigerian with proper Ghanaian papers earn a stipend in Ghana, their government will impose a $300,000 dollars levy and deport those who cannot comply

A National Carrier owned by the FG is a waste of money! It will soon collapse!
The FG can go in Liaison with successful Nigerian airlines such as Arik or Aero Contractor to help them become National Carriers.

I don't even think partnership with foreign airlines will make the company survive. Most foreign companies will simply milk the FG and then make away with what they can when it finally collapses.

VAQAXY: Ofcource I cannot take pictures of elsewhere particular Aba to show as Onitsha. Onitsha is alot finer, organized, clean and sophisticated than Aba.
Let me explain the pictures:
The first one is Upper Iweka flyover under going reconstruction. The rest particularly the one with green paints is very close to Ikemba statue at Headbridge, the green paint was applied last year when GEJ came to Onitsha. It was only applied at the portion of Ojukwu statue. They are doing the final re-laying of ashphalt before they will applied road markings.
am in Onitsha now I took the pictures myself. I will snap more pix of the city tomorrow.
Ok, i can now imagine where you took the pictures. Thus, the road under reconstruction is perhaps Uga road. I was wondering, because it didn't look like Oguta road, close to the fly over you showed.

Ok, now you should take pictures of the Onitsha stock exchange and ICT park. Also, the former ABS site on park road GRA being demolished for Shoprite mall. If you can, show us shots of Awka road,Limca road, the new flyover at Nkpor new parts and the inter change on Onitsha-owerri road.Show us the roads done around GRA Onitsha,Oraifite and Ezeiweka roads in Awada. Also, roads and buildings Gov.Peter Obi have done inside Onitsha.I heard he is working on a Convention Center, an Onitsha 5 star Hotel and a new housing layout. Please show us these things if it is true and give us your opinion if they have been abandoned or there is a sign of seriousness they'll be completed. Thanks in advance for your contribution.

Why is that boy bent on rubbishing his father's legacy?
Does he think the title IKEMBA or DIKE-DI-ORA-NMA Or OCHIAGHA which were given to Ikemba, was merely because there were no other titles? If he were called "Ikemba" which country or people is he their strength? If he were called "Dike di ora nma" which people is he their warrior? If he were called "Ochiagha" which army did he command?

That boy needs to understand that his father's shoe is too big for him. If he wants to ride on his father's fame to become elected for something, that is ok, but he should not pretend to be the same stature as his father. The more he tries to equate his sorry life with his father's the more he will stir revulsion in peoples' heart and the worst off he will be politically.

Personally, a black person is better off avoiding black people like a plague.Black people will gladly pick the poo from a white person arse than give a helping hand to pull up another black person in the rain.

I used to think it was purely a trait African Americans acquired from years of abuse and slavery. But,African blacks and Caribbean blacks are EXACTLY the same self hating blacks. Black people deserve poverty and all the misfortune that befall them.

Look at Africa or Caribbean, the black countries refuse to trade with themselves! Instead, they import what their neighbor has in abundance from Asia,Europe etc. They hide under "immigration" to viciously treat citizens of their fellow countries with the worst form of inhumanity and wickedness, yet white people even without visas are worshiped in the same countries. Why? Instead, they fight and undermine themselves for no reason at all apart from their inherently evil jealous minds. I have long given up on black people. .. and i say this as someone who dedicated her life to black emancipation and advancement for many wasted years.

Who cares about the blackman any more? He deserves to be a slave for 1 million years until he learns to stop killing and pulling down each other.

Black people from all parts of Africa to Caribbean to USA to Brazil are EXACTLY the same breed. Jealous, violent and LAZY!

White people will treat any black person more humanely and fairly than your so called "black brother". Only the disastrously naive or insane will still go around supporting anyone because they are BLACK!
Politics › Re: State Peer Review Mechanism: Anambra In Focus by ChimaAdeoye: 8:36pm On Jun 22, 2013
This report identified one important problem of Anambra State and indeed SE states.Lack of payment of taxes is the disease of South East governments.

Perhaps the years of military rule made people to avoid paying taxes like a plague or perhaps it is because the taxes are made to be in thousands of naira which makes it unaffordable to some people or is it because taxes are collected from the people once or twice every year.

For whatever reasons, the Anambra state government must employ tax professionals to block all the leakages in the system and overhaul the entire tax code to make it affordable to everyone.Taxing small businesses the same amount taxed a factory would simply make that business to run underground.
