I can not say I am happy that you mentioned me for this Mikester, though I understand why you would. And while I was not going to respond, the continuous mentions I keep getting every time someone quotes your mention post keeps bringing me back to it, so I must and I will, but only to the above, which is based on a generalisation, which really pisses me off, because while some "Women are more likely to view things from an emotional perspective than a logical one", most Women are more likely to view things from a practical perspective.

You see, women have this thing called a womb in which life grows and comes forth into the world, and there's nothing emotional about it. Bun goes in oven, and 9 months later a life is fully baked. For the first few months after coming out the oven and up to a year for some or two for others, that life clings to the woman's chest, sucking at her tits while she wipes its bum, and there's nothing emotional about a crying smelly brat stuck to your tits; there's nothing more practical than being solely responsible for nurturing a life and for keeping it growing and for showing it the path to trod so it does stumbles not.

I know those who carefully selected their spouse with all the due diligence and all they still have it bad.

I know those that despite the fact that their spouses had very glaring flaws they still married and are even having it better than some with all the due diligence.

Marriage is a huge sacrifice on both ends (its supposed to be) both spouses will have to sacrifice some things however little at some point. Men are normally the breadwinners in almost every Nigerian home. A few cases of women taking care of their kids does not change the truth.
Women earn lesser than men on the average and most of the market women, headdressers etc, spend their money on makeup and other personal stuff. some women prefer to send money to their siblings instead of helping their husband.

Majority of Nigerian men have little free time and they prefer to spend it on themselves. Things will be different if women support more.

I knew this topic wouldn't get up to 5 replies before they start blaming the man's failure at parenting at the wife. In reality we know what's happening. Most men don't bond with their kids, they feel the only thing they owe their kids is money, they push their kids away with too much strictness. Once the children are old and on their feet, they want to start getting close but it becomes awkward, they blame the mother for turning their kids against them.

Don't bond with your kids you hear, continue pushing them away because you can conveniently blame your failure at parenting at their mother. We're in the generation of woke kids, if you do anyhow you see anyhow. Let's even look at it critically, how can one person have so much power to turn you against your own parent? That further proves how much the father had failed in parenting.

A person knowing you don't have a choice and no other means of taking caring of yourself without them empowers them. With your money, you can always to divorce a philandering husband.

You can't blame men for this, this is nature, You can always decide to remain single and not pregnant. Sex life getting terrible can't be blamed solely on the man When some women gt married and they turn themselves to something else, getting so dirty, unkempt, wearing adieu papa shirt everywhere in the house, etc see Men are moved by sight, and when the sight is different from what you got married to, this slowly affects the sex life. If your husband is not satisfying you then you have the right to talk about it and find a solution together, a lot of married people only have sex for procreation.

If the only thing you enjoy in your marriage is the money then you are nothing but a gold digger, you don't enjoy the company, the love, the laughter, and other things that come with been married.

Finally, in today's world, most men still provide up to 80% of the family responsibilities.
