DotMe: Clearly, you don't understand the vision & mission statement of the church. Try and find that out, you'll gain clarity. So the vision and mission statement states that there should be two churches on a street with just 32 houses? |

wman: I have the same problem with RCCG. In my house, you can hear the sounds of 3 RCCG churches on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The once large communal RCCG church in my area is now a shadow of itself. The members have been split into different tiny churches. A lot of these churches struggle to fuel their gens and cater for other expenses.
You'll see numerous RCCG churches less than 5 minutes away from each other.
It's just crazy.
You ask the members, they'll tell you the General Overseer has a vision. Exactly. Very very stupid reason that doesn't make any sense. The funny thing is that they would keep taxing the struggling members to contribute money to sustain and do things in the church. The church itself doesn't have the money to maintain the numerous branches. |

I don't know what Christianity is turning into in Nigeria but one thing I know is that some of these people running churches are becoming daft by the day. I'm not going to talk about Oyedepo cos in fairness to winners chapel, you don't see their branches littering the place up and down. But I have a problem with RCCG where I worship. I attend a small local church that is few buildings away from my house and we are still struggling to build the church to look beffiting. But guess what? In December, RCCG went to plant another church on the same street. This is a street that has less than 40 buildings/houses and already has at least 3 churches on it(including 1 RCCG branch). The various streets leading to this my street also has at least 3 different branches of RCCG. These branches are never filled up on sundays and the only one that gets filled is the very small one that looks like a kiosk. When I assess the whole thing, I begin to wonder if the people responsible for doing these traded their brains for food and money. How do you keep engaging in capital projects that are not fully utilized? How do you plant a new branch of a church on a small street that has a struggling branch of the same church? These days, if you want to see people display acute stupidity, just go to the church. |

I don't think it is wrong to marry a single mom cos honestly, there are some who are worth wifing. The problem is how does the lady herself carry on? Does she understand the complexities of the relationship and is she able to set reasonable boundaries? Some ladies are weak and just 30 mins alone with their ex, pants and bra go done off, forgetting that they are already married to someone else. |

Na today EXes start to contact each other?
Must it be single moms (or dads)?
As una take dey stereotype and select these days. Na yam una go marry last last. My dear, almost everyone is the other person's ex and that's not a problem for me. I'm not one who is looking for a virgin. But guess what? I've had my own little issues with single moms. As at last year sef, I was trying to fix something with one and I was almost ready to shoulder her responsibilities with that of the 3 kids. Guess what? Aunty was still using style to see if she and the ex could get back, while still coming with me. Events that played out after I lost my dad and buried him, made me decide it wasn't worth it. I came back from burial and instead of coming to spend time with me, madam asked me to give her one of my cars to use to attend one society birthday party. I just gave an excuse why I couldn't and I stopped going to see her. It was much later during the year while we were discussing something that she made mention of her still hoping she and ex could get back together back then... If I don't get married to someone I like and love, I'd just do baby mama arrangements with someone who wants same and continue living my life in peace. Most single moms are self centered. |

Despite forgiving her several errors even while we got engaged, she still has the guts under my roof to mess up.
Warning guys, never ever marry a single mother that has been messed up!!! 6 years was messed up!!! This is the thing that messes my mind up with single moms. I've tried getting deep with a few of them but complex situations like what you just described above made it difficult to forge ahead. Like, you don't know what goes on between them when they need to take the kid(s) to see the father in your absence. |

Jewish Christians, Arabic Christians or Christians in Israel are just christians? I just wanna be enlightened, cos I don't really believe a Jew can convert into Islam, but there's tendency of a few(no matter how little) converting to Christianity... Even from the Bible days, Judaism has been their major religion in Israel. There are muslims in Israel also but the major religion in Israel is Judaism. |

soloenzo: A Nigerian lawyer and Human Rights activist Barr. Malcolm Omirhobo has Thursday sued the Federal Government, Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigeria Army, Ministry of Defense and Attorney General of the Federation over the continuous Arabic inscription on the naira notes and the flag of the Nigerian Army without considering Nigeria to be a secular nation.
He is seeking a Federal High Court to interpret the provisions of Section 10 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He filed two suits.
The defendants in the suits are Central Bank of Nigeria, Attorney-General of the Federation, the Nigerian Army, as well as the Ministry of Defence.
Plaintiff is seeking a court interpretation whether by a community reading of Sections 10 and 55 of the 1999 Constitution, it is lawful and constitutional for the defendants to permit the Naira notes to be adorned with Arabic inscriptions.
In the same vein, the plaintiff is asking whether by a community reading of Sections 1(1)(3), 10 and 55 of the 1999 Constitution, it is proper for the defendants to permit the Nigerian Army logo to be adorned, or inscribed in Arabic insignia.
He is seeking a court interpretation whether by the true letter and spirit of Section 10 of the 1999 Constitution, Nigeria is a secular state without any official religion.
He wants the court to declare that it is illegal, unlawful, and unconstitutional to allow the Nigerian Army logo to be adorned, and inscribed in Arabic language, instead of the official English language or Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo which are the three main languages or ethnic groups in Nigeria.
The defendants are yet to reply. The Court also is yet to fix a date for the hearing of the case.

Russia you are not above God and will pay for your heinous crimes and hypocrisy in promoting destruction of lives across the world. From Syria to Iran. Russia is puffed to the third heavens but will crumble to the bottom of the sea, you chief supporter of destruction and death of innocent lives.
We dare you Russia to show where you showed solidarity to the slain innocent aid workers. Hypocrisy Shall anyone stand against the almighty and live to testify of the aftermath You just talk like someone that doesn't have sense. You don't have adequate info on what went down in Syria but you are quick to call Russia a hypocrite nation. I bet you were not alive when Obama was giving arms and ammunition to a group of rebels who America described as moderate rebels, to fight the Syrian government. Those same rebels turned over those arms to Isis and were using it to destabilize Syria. It wasn't until Russia and Iran came into the picture and joined forces with the Syrian government before they could quell the attacks from those rebels and Isis. I had to stop reading at this point, you're not only jealous you're wickedly entitled as well. Why should your sister establish a business for you and thug that impregnated you? She owes either of you nothing especially him. Is that why he impregnated you as a minor? To get handouts from your family? If you were my sister, I would never want you to continue any form of relationship with that man. That doesn't mean I don't love you or want the best for you. Your sister wants a better life for you but you're too young, naive, and blinded by lust to realize this. I swear! Very evil sister. |

Ifyjos: My story is long but I will cut short. I’m 20 years old and I have a 5 years old daughter , I’m still with her father but we are not living together. I’m still at home with my parents.
My elder sister is a banker she is engaged and her fiancé is a doctor, they were supposed to get married this February 2020. My elder sister Hates my guy a lot just because he is not educated, has no money, he drinks and Smokes but he is a good guy, he doesn’t beat or cheat on me , he gives money for our daughter upkeeps and she goes to school he is paying her school fees but sometime when he doesn’t have my sister will be paying but she will insult the hell out of me that I ruined my life by giving birth at a young age , I should have closed my legs she just says many things that really hurting me sometimes I cried and Whenever she sees my guy she will insulting him threatening to pour him hot water.
So it happened in July , our parents traveled to the village because my dad was very sick so my guy visited me at home and she came and saw him , she got angry and started raining insult at him as usual and I got angry and slapped her which lead to a very serious fight and she arrested me and my fiancé and we came out after 3 days my guy had to sign undertaken that he should not step his foot in our house again.
So he promised to deal with her in a way she will regret and I supported him, so we have decided to destroyed her relationship with her fiancé by arranging lots of boys and girls who are my guys friends to start calling her fiancé and threatening him to leave their girlfriends alone or they will kill him, so we had 7 boys and 2 girls also called him claiming that my sister is dating their husbands so he should warned her or they will do worse. Everything went according to our plans and we have succeed in destroying her relationship that her fiancé dumped her and cancelled the marriage in October.
She hasn’t been well since, she lost her job , she is totally depressed and all she does is crying and she lost so much weigh. I was so happy seeing her like that because she deserved it but I pretend like I care when I didn’t but now I just feel so bad because her condition is getting worsened.
Seeing her going to the hospital today really broke my heart and made me regretting what I and my guy did to her but I don’t know how to help her again. I wish I could talk to her and tell her everything we did and beg for her forgiveness but I’m scared because everybody in the family will hate me, they will disown me and throw me out of the house and I have nowhere else to go with my child. My guy stays with friends in a one room house.
I’m Feeling helpless You are a cursed evil child that doesn't deserve love and may you reap your evil in a million folds. On behalf of your sister, I tell you boldly that it will never be well with you until you confess your evil to both your sister and her fiance. How can anyone even have an evil satanic child like you and think he or she has a child? I spit on you. |

WARNING! The road is FAR. If you do not have patience, if time isn't on your side- pls, don't try it. It would/should take a total of 6hrs for the trip (to and fro), minus traffic. Journey started somewhere on the mainland.
Out of curiousity, on our way there, I tried booking a trip via UBER. Got an estimate of N7700- N10150. If I am a driver, I wouldn't even go. Except you book me for a day job. Lol On an average, how much did this trip cost? Do they have car parks where one can park? I heard you have to use a boat to get there; can you confirm that? For someone living on the mainland and wants to visit, what time is ideal to leave for this place. I'm thinking of seeing some of these places this year. |
