A smart student does not necessarily have to be intelligent, he just need to have what it takes to pass an examination. E.g A student that is capable of understanding and manipulating a particular formula even though he has no fore knowledge about the topic. And at the end of the day will still pass the exam.(even though the grade might be less impressive). While a brilliant student is the one who learn, reads and understands what he or she has been taught.

@post it is obvious that Nigerians tends to over-exaggarate things.. Cartons have got no negative effects in the hearts of our children. compared to movies and home video. Also, it will interest you to know that cartoons as we know are not necessarily meant for children only. It is meant for everybody. (Adults inclusive). I still find it difficult to believe that people are actually bullied in africa. If you want to see real bullying, go to America. My thought exacly, things like this can't happen in other developed countries. I'm not in support of whatever the girl might have done, but some teachers can be so heartless. I remember been flogeed like an animal back in junior secondary school for not bringing cassava stem and yam pod during pratical, together with my classmates. That to me was the highest peak of irresponsibility. It is high time we have a rebrand in our educational system. The idea of flogging students should be prohibited. Not just temporary, but permanently. Other alternative should be introduced.
