This is what I always advise, look for jobs that you learn something valuable that can lead to self employment. Working as a management trainee would enable you understand the nitty gritty of restaurant management. If you decide to leave say, after 5yrs you can easily manage your own and possibly become a Mr Biggs
But if you continue with the insurance brokerage, you may end up being thrown out as a contract staff. Also the job won't lead to self employment as you know what it takes to have an insurance firm.
