Replicate all the key government agencies and parastatals in Lagos in Southeast so that Igbos will never have any reason to be trooping to Lagos.

But unfortunately the same people telling Igbos to go back to Southeast will never accept this simple solution
What do you think @

Glad to see we are collectively agreeing that older doesn’t mean wiser and that because something has been done a certain way for generations past doesn’t mean it has to continue that way. AKA tradition is made for man not man for tradition. Love it.

Hmm.
Well I know some of my Yoruba friends that openly support Obi. At least in that aspect I know they are not considering tribe first before the general welfare of everybody. That lets me know not everyone shares those sentiments.

Not to mention I’ve been helped in the past when I was in a bind by a Yoruba person. In fact There are many more instances so that’s why I don’t really generalize when it comes to tribe issues.

If not this nairaland, I won’t even know there are that many Yoruba people who dislike us this much. Maybe they are the ones being the loudest so it seems as if there are many more of them. That’s what I think

My candid advise to Hausas and Igbos living in Lagos state. Please, for the sake of peace stay indoors, don't come out to vote, allow Yoruba to choose whom they want to govern them

Cholls:
my brother you be olodo. Your comment goes to show you don't know the problem in Nigeria. But, don't worry I will educate you. The main problem Nigeria has is the Igbos. The evil tribe thinks his better than the rest of us.
Let me just agree that igbo people feel better than you, is that the summary of Nigerian problems?

Not insecurity
Not lack of sustainable power
Not poor infrastructure
Not inaccessible good healthcare
Not the states of your roads?
Not the workers being owed months in arrears?

I could go on and on.
Of all the problems in the country, an igbo person “feeling better than you” is the hill you chose to die on?
I’m exhausted. Where’s this type of lack of reason coming from?

Edible flower pot

I was feeling creative today after watching a video on IG days back. I decided to merge my culinary skills and farming love to form this. Everything is edible and yummy.

The flower pot was made with pure compound chocolate
The filling was my homemade ice cream (just whipping cream and condensed milk)
The soil was cookie dust.
The plants is a peppermint cut from my garden.

Will you eat this?

I dedicate this to the bros that gifted me this customized board years back, to all farmers/gardeners and chef in the house.

The truth is that I really just want a united and equitable Nigeria. Not that I’ll never support Biafra. I will if things keep being the way they are.

Acidosis:
It's terrifying. Slowly, I believe, more people are beginning to understand the sense in Biafra. The process towards Biafra may have been flawed and extremely provocative in the past few years but I hope their leaders can make things right. If we are being sincere, no one can endure this level of hate in their own country without going ballistic at some point.

90% of the time I am able to empathise with female posters here (not the foolish ones though) because I have experienced to some degree what they share or someone close to me has experienced it.

Anyone who has ever experienced heartbreak from a romantic relationship (which most of the population has) can relate to her post or at least imagine what she is feeling.

When I say I like how blissfully unencumbered I am, her sort of reality is part of the reason why. We underestimate how important peace of mind is to our mental, physical and emotional health.

If you ask me emotional trauma is the worse kind of trauma there is, it affects every aspects of our lives.
Politics › Re: Oba Elegushi Fixes Oro Ritual On Election Day by cococandy(f):
This is my question too.

I’ve never really gave the Biafra thing a thought. Was going about my life loving and seeing Nigeria as one. No second thoughts whatsoever until I came to NL and saw how anonymity allowed people express their true feelings. And then I wonder why they don’t support the demand of the IPOB group. If you hate them so much, why not support them to leave? I’ll never get it

Learn to speak the truth and, more importantly, give due respect to everyone. If you don't like Igbos, then help them have a country they can call their own. What's this nonsense you guys are doing in and with Lagos? How can any sane person respect Lagos political Obas when all they do is dance to the dictate of one man? Why are you guys acting like you're all possessed with the spirit of emilokan?

Would Oba of Ile-Ife, "Olubadan of Ibadan", or "Emir of Kano" do a thing like this?? Tinubu won and lost other Yoruba towns/states without anyone desecrating their traditional stool. Peter Obi won Anambra without Obi of Onitsha disgracing himself. If people don't want you, they simply don't. Stop hating!

What a kind and thoughtful response. Sometimes you can’t tell people what to do especially if the stakes are high but expressing empathy for their situation might mean even more

Klass99:
I am tempted to say genuine condolences, not because you've lost someone through death or because I want to be funny, but because I can feel your pain OP.

Emotional turmoil and heartache can be a harrowing experience. You can't eat, you can't sleep, you can't focus on anything, you are over thinking everything, feeling sick on the inside and sometimes manifesting that sickness on the outside.

I'm sorry for what you are going through, I hope you find peace of mind again.

Possibly kobojunkie is a single mother or a spinster that doesn't have any stake. When the chips are down, you will face the reality alone.

Your home is your home. Your children are your children, your husband is your husband.
Myself in a similar profession know what temptations we can face on site while meeting people. Don't crucify your husband yet. Don't make your home inhabitable for him. See your as something worthy of getting back.

Kobojunkie and others telling you to lose your home are either not sincere or wicked.

You have your life to live and personal challenges to face.

Check her posts you will discover the girl is a little crazy.

In summary: do all you can to get your husband back.

He wouldn’t be in doubt what to do if the tables were turned. Use the information as you wish

lummy247:
Please, I need advice. I went through my husband's phone and I saw a message he shared with his side chick.

In the text message, the side chick was telling him to get something for her mother. He responded that he doesn't have an idea on what to buy. The lady later suggested that He should buy Provisions for her.

They talk everyday and they exchange romantic texts everyday. They even have a pet name for each other.
My husband is a Civil Engineer and some weekends he travels for 'work', I know he has gone to see her.

This relationship with the side chick is gradually affecting my marriage. I have the fear of what will happen if she gets pregnant. For him to see her mother, it shows that they are already very close. He also sends her money. I see the transactions on his Bank App.

Please I need advice, what can I do.

The fact that you even thought about it is wild.

In this same country that you’re required by law at penalty of fines or even more severe consequences to make sure there’s no provable instances of bias in your selection and deselection process, you want us to give you accolades for not letting tribalism influence your decisions?

Dude please 🙄🙄

The damage APC has done to the mind of the average Yoruba man/woman in the last year would take decades to undo. This is SPELL at work. These guys are under some powerful influence that is beyond human comprehension. They're stopping at nothing in disenfranchising even their own parents and children for the sake of Tinubu's dynasty.

Ask yourself, is Jandor not a Yoruba man? What about Funke Akindele? Is GRV not an indigene? Same script they used years ago against Jimi Agbaje and Obanikoro. It failed on Funsho Williams so they had to kill him.

The best thing you can do for yourself and family right now is to dissociate yourself from any Yoruba man or woman that shamelessly supports the duo of BAT/APC on the basis of hate for another tribe. Believe me when I say that if you do this, your level of advancement and mental alertness will increase by at least 20%.

Make no mistake, I am a full-blooded Yoruba man and I feel nothing but disgust when I meet such people.
