We all have our own desires and goals, it's just that some persons choose to follow that of others, my sister from day one always wanted to be an Employee but myself on the other hand always wanted to own a company.

Many folks just follow the herd, Business is risky and shouldn't be ventured into without a solid foundation/capital or plan but you can get employed without having a dime or plan.

There are few legitimate successful self employed people that are better than salary earners, until your business becomes firm and well known, you won't start enjoying the non-monetary benefits, sometimes it may never become known but as an employee you can start enjoying whatever non-monetary benefits immediately.

So I will say being employed is better than being self employed.

I already made the mistake of applying to study in a Federal University, so I will support the cause for a better education system for the future generations of Nigerian Students.

The incessant strikes of ASUU kills the little drive and passion to study that the lecturers couldn't kill with their wickedness.

Aside that, don't answer those telling you to travel abroad with just #3m, people there are complaining, the few ones sending huge money home are mostly into shady deals, I don't know about Uber Business but it seems saturated to my eye.

A Business you may have passion for can be a good start, just start small, then overtime you invest massively if it turns out well, don't quit your job yet, I have a senior colleague that owns 2 hotels, a poultry house and some other businesses but yet he keeps his job, he has plans to resign next year as he had told me.

There's what we call testing the waters.

That job of yours is well paying since you could save #3m in 5 years, you only feel you deserve more, which isn't bad.

Business too is stressful and mysterious, unless you want to opt for the quicker way to succeed business wise, which I won't talk about here.

Testing the Waters; you could start a business while working there and you invest in it gradually by employing someone to manage it for you, then you check records and accounts at your free time till you gain popularity around town and have loyal customers, then you can decide to stop.

Don't go all in, people telling you about businesses, entrepreneurship, uber business and all that don't tell you exactly how they succeed, it's a dark and corrupt world out here, more like a rat-race.

That's not a valid point, the best alternative is what the government did, we should stick to our own contents, maybe then we can even promote our own cultures, it's a gradual process.

Let's be realistic when we market this "free health care" as a basis for Nigerians to move to certain countries.

I know people who haven't used a single tablet in 10 years despite the harsh environment in Nigeria. I don't think the typical Nigerian hustler cares about all that.

Frustration sets in when the expectation (money) does not match the reality. For example, the average Nigerian is not used to paying taxes. Many circumvent electricity bill, etc. so they get really frustrated when they realize that 20-30% of the money they worked for goes to an healthcare system (they probably wouldn't use).

I believe an individual should try and attain a certain level of comfort before relocating on the basis of free or standard healthcare. What some people need is good money. These are people who haven't been to a hospital for any major treatment in 15 years. All they need is a good job, money, and more money.

I am entitled to HMO at where I work but I haven't been to any hospital all my life, sometimes I even get angry and wish they add these money to my salary instead.

I have friends abroad that are complaining seriously, the truth many will not tell you is that crime pays faster and better than legit but it's not good, most guys making it full skin abroad are into one or two forms of crimes.
