Family › Re: I've Never Seen A Girl As Dirty As My Cousin Sister by cooooooks(m): 1:11pm On Feb 20, 2021
Are you sure she hasn't experienced trauma? From rape or some other form of trauma?

Perhaps she feels if she stays dirty and unkempt, nobody will rape her.

Danhoys:
I thought I knew what dirtiness was until my cousin's sister started living with us. We gave her a room, a roof over her head until she finds her bearing.

She's an orphan, almost going to 28 years, and sells food on Sundays for cash.

But, looking at her, she's the replica of the word 'unappealing.'

Her hair is always shabby, dirty, and she never attempt to even braid it to keep it in order. Black is beautiful, but hers comes in brown patches and acne.

She doesn't even care.

We have a water closet, and she's ready to keep popping without an attempt to flush. The last time I traveled and left the home for a week, the toilet was beyond what I could comprehend.

To the point I had to do renovation, repainted the wall, and had to hire a cleaner to help wash the toilet thoroughly.

I couldn't risk catching a disease doing it myself. That was how bad it was.

After doing all these, she stopped using the toilet, but would prefer to pop in the compound with a black nylon at night.

Sometimes, she even forget to throw them away. I had woke up very early in the morning. Saw her bucket and wanted to use it, what I saw changed my day.

I saw her feces, and since then I vowed never to touched a bucket that is isn't mine.

Aside from her protruding stomach which she does little to hide, the wrapper she wears every evening have never seen water in months.

Women are supposed to be conscious of their unclothedness, but not this cousin of mine.

She can avoid all the bathrooms, and choose to bathe outside in the open at night.

Like, around 8 to 9 pm when everyone is still very much awake.

Sometimes children will bump in on her unintentionally, and the kid will run away traumatized by what he or she have seen.

I dare not go into details to recount how she prepares the food she sales, and how dirty her coolers and kitchen utensils can swim with maggots for 6 days before she finally washes them on Saturday and prepares food on Sunday for her esteemed customers.

She's not beautiful facially, nor wear makeup or earrings since it's against her belief.

Doesn't wear clothes that suit her. If she dresses like an mbeke, that wouldn't be a problem. I just don't understand her dressing at all, coupled with her dirty look.

When it comes to religion, hers is the worse, jumping from one church to the other. And worse, we hardly sleepy at midnight.

She is always in battle with demons, with her speaking of tongues that don't just sound ridiculous, but deafening and irritating.

She's just 28, and I doubt if any man has ever stopped her on the road, and I still suspect she have never laid with a man before.

She's not mentally unstable if that is what most of you might think.

She's lively, knows how to joke and hold conversations like we all do. But when it comes to her body, grooming, overall cleaningness, she's zero.

There are grades of dirtiness, but when it comes to a stage where someone now dines and wines with feces, then there is a problem somewhere.

She's shapeless and doesn't want to do anything about it despite my numerous advise. She eats junk, like...

She runs to the backyard, gets some vegetables and fry it up with some concoctions and food is ready.

I know all their foods, and the things she cooks is nothing less than a concoction. I've eat her food once and my stomach testified.

A thoroughly analysis of her personality fascinates me to some extent. Is this her personality? Something that is genetically engineered into her that she has no control over?

Can she change?

Do you think I can help her, how?

The country scares me.

Will NOUN excuse students who don't want to write the exams that early anymore? No.

Will she be remembered after 1 week? No.

Even if she went for runs, and so what? She wouldn't be the first person doing runs. Runs is not a death sentence.

PLEASE what will a LAW GRADUATE be expecting from a country with an entirely different Legal system?
That Law graduate should better be prepared to do other jobs or better go back and study.

NIGERIAN PHILOSOPHY GRADUATE abroad is a mirage. Such a graduate should prepare his or her mind to enroll in something more lucrative there.

One of the most lucrative art courses abroad remains Foreign Languages and International relations. Those who can interpret many languages are indispensable.

Not true. Your law degree ain't useless.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpiAhJ721ik

Gerrard59:
Art courses are largely country dependent. Nigeria's Law degree is useless outside the country but not for medicine or engineering. Also, in jobs' availability, even their citizens face low prospects and salaries. Check the lamentations by PhD grads in history, philosophy, political science etc. Now, compare to science based courses and you will see the difference. Someone with a PhD in Computer Science from Princeton will quickly get a job anywhere in the world over his counterpart with a PhD in history from the same institution.

It's what it's.

With law, you don't need to go back to law school everywhere.

In Canada, you need to get your degree evaluated and then you do the courses they feel you need to complete.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpiAhJ721ik

It is better for you to go for a masters or certificate and combine some of the courses you need to do with your Masters.

You could also just study by yourself and write the exams.

The way English is taught here is not how English is taught overseas.

tensazangetsu20:
With law, you would need to go back to law school. English teaching works provided you get certified and target non-english speaking nations but it still does not pay as much as the sciences.

Lol @she shut the baby up".

Well... It could be a coincidence and not that your girl is possessed. My twin sisters' little baby was doing that to me at some point. If I carry her she'll cry and try to break free from me. Or whenever I go there , she'll be staring at me from afar. Though she started doing this after the day she looked at me and looked at her mum like continuously until she became confused and she was just 4 months then. Since then, if I come around she'll not come close.

Maybe the devil is capitalizing on your negative towards your girl but then again, you could be right. Only God knows. This your allegatioms strong o

True. Some of the people pay for diplomatic passports.

The point is for them to be able to travel somewhere is they need to leave Nigeria abruptly.

These passports cost tens of thousands of dollars.

You are not alone in this predicament.

The girl I am engaged to and want to marry told me today that i love her more than she loves me. What does this mean?

There was something we were discussing and I told her there are several things that she does that makes me doubt if she truly loves me. She then replied saying, she loved her ex more than he loved her, and so she decided to not love anyone more than she loves them. That as for me, I love her more than she loves me, that’s why I sometimes thinks she doesn’t love me.

I told her this is not something you tell someone you want to marry and she said I am taking it too far.

Please am I making a mistake to want to marry her? Does she love me? Or am I taking her statement too far like she said?

Lol. I'm not in Naija.

What is the point of defaulting to insults?

Also, your comfortable people disappear from Nigeria whenever they are sick, tired, etc. Most of their money is also sent outside of Nigeria.

So what is the point of having them in Nigeria? Nigeria does not benefit from their living there.

Billyonaire666:
You seem to have a problem understanding what I wrote. I want to repeat what I wrote 'No comfortable Nigerian LIVES abroad'.

Does not mean you do not have houses or resident permits or alternative citizens in case the human zoo gets into uncontrollable entropy.

But living abroad is not really for a Nigerian who can afford to live like a King with just a million naira when that amount can not pay a comfortable rent abroad.

When you become comfortable and travel abroad, you will understand. Until then, keep struggling, some how, if the Fulanis let you live, you might get my message.

Business To Business › Re: Biodigester: The Cheap And New Innovative Soakaway by cooooooks(m): 11:30am On Feb 16, 2021
Plan your own digester with a chemical or civil engineer.

Discharging the water without treatment will likely contaminate the water table and by extension all boreholes in the area.

The bolded is calling for direct cholera outbreak. Avoid at all costs.

Sending to a soakaway pit is better.

phabulousangel:
Have never said anything about excess water in the digester, if water even stay in it is no more a complete system,
So please get it right biodigester system doesn't retain water inside it, the water goes to the separate SOAKAWAY pit which serve as drain system or you allow it to go directly to the gutter.

I don't know the one you are talking about
Business To Business › Re: Biodigester: The Cheap And New Innovative Soakaway by cooooooks(m): 11:26am On Feb 16, 2021
Nope. It needs to be treated first.

Using a sediment bed with controlled biotreatment is a low technology but effective treatment process.

ojesymsym:
Can this water be used directly as a form of manure?

Some companies pass such water through a water treatment plant.
Business To Business › Re: Biodigester: The Cheap And New Innovative Soakaway by cooooooks(m): 11:22am On Feb 16, 2021
Guy, i studied this process.

Separating the solids from liquids is a good first step.

However, the liquid still needs to be treated before discharged.

Discharging it into a demarcated ground is better than discharging into a water body.

There is real work involved:
- what is the water table level?
- what filtration are you passing the water through before it eventually seeps into the soil?
- can you introduce bacteria (it is better to use bacteria local to that area.

In all this, gas will still be created. From the solids and the liquids.

This could be a wholistic project but you don't seem to understand that.

phabulousangel:
There is different between water of biogas and biodigester, biogas water is just like you AC water, does pass tru any process? The answer is NO, don't be miss guided with Mr prof here.

Very true. The thing is he will be long gone when the contamination is seen.

They may not even know who installed the 'biodigester'.

PeaceLoveJoy:
Bro, I read your question, but kept silent. Imagine his response to the question below:

As soon as I read this, I know the boy does not understand the whole concept himself. And when I talked about farm, he doesn't understand what I was trying to say. Apparently, the methane is released into air too. grin

And this is a major health issue. Imagine the boldness he was replying everyone with authority like he is an expert in the field. Someone I should find and spank seriously. He needs a hot e-slap to reset his brain. Many of them are in the society.

I was not against his business, the as.shole should have stepped back to look into the "methane" and "pathogenic water" issues raise. All he needs to do was to research. Even if he needs to send private message to educate him and tell him what to do. I already gave him an option to consider for solution of the pathogenic water because that is what I feel is very urgent. Mainwhile, the fooli.sh boy doesnt understand the primary motive of this is for energy generation. What an arrogant illiterate who used his own hand to destroy his own thread! I just wanted to warn him because I know this unsafe design can spread fast.

Listen readers, do not do this thing if the methane and pathogenic water are not handled well. Goodluck to anyone who does this. By the time the borehole water in the house starts having EColi, Staph, Strep, Pylori, and other terrible infection, then, sense will come upon you. Real earth contamination is what I'm looking at. It may take more than 5 years, but it will sure happen..and after it does, clean up will be hard. And many will die. So, prevention is better than cure. There is a reason evacuation was done in those days. In a normal urban setting, the local government suppose to have certain human dung processing centers where all these things are flushed to and processed. In fact, some towns turn them to safe manure after passing through good treatment. And the water even are returned as municipal water in some places.

The innovation is good, but should be done rightly. I encourage people to do it. But treat the water rightly, and the methane should not be released into the air also. Store and use it to power something at home.

Goodluck to anyone who is reading this.

After years of teaching and being a citizen, he started a medical degree (he was almost 40). Went from $70,000 a yr to $150,000 starting salary.

If you could save N7m via a business in Nigeria, you should be able to replicate that.

36 yrs old IMHO is too old to travel out to start a first degree and searching for a job thereafter.

If you want to go back to school, look for a Nigerian part time or online course in your field of interest so you can keep doing your business to sponsor yourself through school.

You can even reach out to Covenant University and Co if you are particular about your institution.

You can go for your masters later when you have a continuous source of income that can sponsor you.
