Responding, Atiku, who appreciated the monarchs for the important roles they play at local level by offering quality leadership, thanked them for believing in him and his team. He told them that his team is on a mission to rescue Nigeria from imminent collapse.

Earlier at the Abakaliki Township Stadium where the rally was held, Atiku, who was overwhelmed by the massive turnout of supporters numbering over 5,000, assured that, if elected president, his administration would not leave any stone unturned in revamping the economy of the country for the good of all Nigerians.

“I want to use this opportunity to commit to you that Ebonyi will never be marginalized in the Federal Government again. And to the people of the South East, let me tell you, I don’t know what will happen in the future, but from the inception of this country, this is your best time.

“Please on the 16th of February and March 2, go out and vote for PDP. Please protect those votes after casting them. The youths of Ebonyi are very agile, very patriotic and I want you to make sure that you protect those votes”, he added.

Also speaking, the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, said that his party was ready to offer Nigerians quality leadership that would transform the nation’s economy and place it on the path of progress.

“The rescue team today is in Ebonyi with the man that will rescue Nigeria from poverty, hunger, hardship, and mass killing”, he assured.

The Vice-Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, regretted that the country is collapsing under the APC-led Federal Government and appealed to Nigerians to vote out APC on February 16.

“Under APC, Nigeria is collapsing. There is insecurity, and nothing is moving forward in this country. With Atiku Abubakar, there will be security, economic boom, quality education,” he said.

“Our universities are on strike and our children have been at home. Under Atiku Abubakar, our schools will not be closed due to strike. Our hospitals are not equipped and as such not functioning well. Under Atiku, that situation will be changed for good. We are on a mission to rescue Nigeria from collapse”, he said.

Corroborating Obi, the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, said: “Today in Nigeria, the hunger, and unemployment is too much. There is one man that will unite Nigeria and that is Atiku Abubakar. The APC that is there cannot provide job. We need a man that understands how to create jobs.”

In his speech, the Governor of the state, Chief David Umahi, assured Atiku of total support at the poll.

Umahi said: “Ebonyi State is PDP and PDP is Ebonyi State. We don’t have another party and the PDP in the state has performed. We want to assure you that by reason of what God has started in Ebonyi State, we shall massively vote PDP, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Dave Umahi and Kelechi Igwe and all the National and State House of Assembly candidates”, he assured.

Nigerian migrant commits suicide in Italy by jumping under a train after his request for residency permit was rejected

A 25-year-old Nigerian man, Prince Jerry, committed suicide on January 28 2019, by jumping under a train in Tortona, Genoa, Italy after his request for a residency permit for humanitarian reasons was rejected, Monsignor Giacomo Martino, the head of association Migrants, said on Thursday.

Martino, who is in charge of the association that helps migrants in the port-city, made the announcement in a chat group with his parishioners.

The message was subsequently shared on social media Wednesday night and published by local newspapers on Thursday.

Jerry's funeral will be held Friday morning, at the Chiesa dell'Annunziata in Genoa.

BREAKING!!! Abia APC Chairman, Nwankpa Kidnapped by Gunmen Hours to Buhari’s Visit


The Abia state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Donatus Nwankpa has been kidnapped by gunmen in Umuahia, Igbere TV reports.

A family member who spoke to Igbere TV said, Nwankpa was abducted by heavily armed gunmen around 10pm yesterday on the Isialangwa section of the Enugu-Aba Expressway while going to Aba from Umuahia in preparation for President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to the state today.

Chief Nwankpa was abducted alongside with his Driver Ibeto and assistant, Chigbu who were with him in the car.

Another source at Keystone Bank told Igbere TV that Chief Nwamkpa visited the bank severally yesterday and withdrew over fifty five million naira from the account of one of the party’s senatorial candidates yesterday.

The source said, Nwankpa disbursed some of the money in the Bank to committee members and suppliers for the event and left with some of the cash to Aba, which may have attracted the criminals.

However, the APC in Abia state has accused governor Ikpeazu and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of masterminding the abduction of it’s chairman to cause confusion and distabilise arrangements for President Buhari’s visit.

A Chieftain of the party who spoke with Igbere TV said

“Governor Ikpeazu, Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah, and PDP are jittery over the fast rising profile of APC in the state since the leader of the party, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu returned back to the state. This is how they sent thugs to shoot a senatorial candidate in Abam few weeks ago, they are panicky because they know their time is up as the people are ready to vote them out during the coming elections,” the APC chieftain said.

Another Chieftain of APC however assured party faithfuls and Abians in general that there was no cause for alarm as everything was in place to give the president a befitting reception today.

Igbere TV had earlier reported of alleged plot by the governor and PDP to cause mayhem during the President visit, which was also debunked by the government, saying governor Ikpeazu is a democrat who believes in level playing ground for all.

All efforts to obtain reaction from the Abia state commissioner for Information, John Okiyi Kalu was abortive as calls and sms to his line were not replied.

Security operatives have raided another criminal hideout and gunned down a suspect said to be working for a Nigerian gang leader in Cameroon.

It was earlier reported that two Nigerian gang members alleged to be leaders of Cameroonian separatists terrorists’ were killed by security operatives earlier this month. 

The notorious criminal elements identified as ‘General Obi’ and Ojong Elvis Ojong – were killed during a shootout in separate raids conducted by Cameroonian task force at their hideouts. 

Following a tip-off, the task force tracked down the suspect (an aide to General Obi) to another hideout and killed him in a shootout.

Weapons, charms and other items were recovered from him.

ALL Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was yesterday unsparing on the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the February 16 presidential election Atiku Abubakar.

The PDP, according to the former Lagos State governor, is seeking power to return the country to the dark days when the economy crumbled and Nigerians groaned under its reign between 1999 and 2015.

To him, it amounts to standing logic on its head to compare the PDP standard bearer to incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the APC.

Tinubu issued a statement titled: “We accept President Buhari’s assignment” on his appointment to lead President Buhari’s re-election campaign as the Co-Chairman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council. He said the two candidates – Buhari and PDP’s Atiku Abubakar – are miles apart when it comes to vision, mission and character.

His words: “The character of the two candidates cannot be more distinct. President Buhari is a straight and honest man. Leave a naira on the table with Buhari in the room. You will find the naira on the table when you return.

“When Buhari says ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ you know where he stands. He means what he says, no more, no less. With Atiku, things are more nuanced. When Atiku speaks, he may mean ‘yes,’ ‘no,’ ‘maybe,’ ‘I don’t know,’ ‘come back tomorrow,’ ‘all the above,’ or ‘none of the above.’

“His compass has four needles pointing in different directions at the same time. He knows of no direction to take. President Buhari’s word is his bond. When Atiku speaks, it is to give you the slip.

“We cannot afford a President whose ways and mind is a maze of contradicting urges and colliding desires. This shows he has no vision for the nation and no guiding principles, except the naked pursuit of power for the naked use of that power.”

Tinubu spoke of Atiku’s role in the Obasanjo administration. He said: “Atiku had his chance to shine as VP when he controlled the privatisation programme of the Obasanjo government. He abused this assignment. He helped squander billions of dollars on power generation that did nothing but generated darkness.

“That government had so much money at its disposal and that is exactly what it did. It disposed of the money, yet, failed to treat the poor or build for the future.

“Atiku laid waste to the national treasury for eight long years. That is enough for one lifetime. We should not reward him by giving him another eight years because the more he feeds, the stronger his hunger grows.

“His is a thirst that can’t be quenched and a hand that cannot be restrained from taking whatever is on the table.

“As the PDP candidate, he is now the leader of an avaricious horde that seeks to reattach its mandible once again to the public wealth and forever lay siege to our nation’s future. Nigerians would do well not to pay them any attention.”


The APC stalwart also made scathing remarks on the PDP.

Drawing a comparison between the ruling and the main opposition parties, Tinubu said: “This election concerns more than two competing personalities and political parties. It is a contest between two different visions for the country and the futures these visions portend.

“The APC seeks a better Nigeria by reforming our institutions of governance that these institutions may better implement policies engendering dynamic economic development.

“We seek not only growth but also a fair and just allocation to all segments of the society of the harvest of our national endeavours. Let no Nigerian be forever trapped in poverty and despair. Let all Nigerians be given the genuine opportunity to realise their full potential and contribute to this nation and their own lives as much as their talents and willpower permits of them.

“We build a Nigeria where government leads the nation but does not rule over the people.”

“On the other hand, the PDP pushes toward a future that takes the nation back to the malpractices of the past. Blind to the possibilities of a better day and afraid of the equality that true reform will bring, the PDP remains vested in the ways of corrupt governance and arrogant disregard for the public. For them, the unjust past is not just the object of their dreams; it is their sole destination.

“Thus, this election is about two different policy visions and two different models of leadership. This election is about substantive issues and about character.

“The APC will continue to build a political economy that will well serve Nigeria long after oil revenues are no longer sufficient to sustain the nation and its ever-growing population.

“We are diversifying the economy, giving basic food, health and educational assistance to the most-needy among us, improving agricultural productivity so that our farmers grow more to feed for increasing urban populations and also earn more to sustain their families, and about building needed infrastructure, including electricity and water, because we realise a national economy cannot grow beyond the capacity of the infrastructure that serves that economy.

“Meanwhile, the PDP clan wants to return to the days where they rule the nation like overlords. They want to own every industry and control everything that has anything to do with the creation of wealth.

“They seek to reverse the democratic maxim that government is the servant of the people. The PDP wants a situation where those in government are the masters and the people bow their heads to the interests of the mighty and the rich.

“We have seen this before. Those who really care about Nigeria care not to see such malign governance again.”

Tinubu assured the President that members of the Campaign Council would work hard to stop those who will halt the nation’s progress from coming back to power.

He said the council would not let the President down “because doing so would also let down the nation”.

Tinubu said: “The 2019 APC Presidential Campaign Council has been inaugurated by President Buhari. In his speech at the inaugural meeting, he did more than offer us guidance on the campaign. In his straightforward manner, he outlined the achievements of his administration, reminding the nation of the pillars of progressive governance and of our party.

“I think I can speak for all members of the Campaign Council that we accept the assignments given by the President with devotion and a firm commitment to perform to our utmost the individual and collective tasks given.

“It is a great honour and responsibility he has given us. We dare not let him down because doing so would also let down the nation.

“Consequently, the members of the APC presidential campaign council accept our respective assignments as both high honor and heavy responsibility.

During one of my trip to B/Side in naija, I went visiting a friend we hadn't seen each other a years. He wanted us to go hangout in one of those big places but I was like abeg make we chill local because its been a while.

So he took me to one nice local joint in his neighborhood and that's when I enter better one chance love circle with two sisters. The girls mum was the owner of the joint and she sells both drinks and bush meat pepper soup.

The first day we went there it was the elder girl that was there and she served us and everything. Being a fun and playful guy, my friend and I made the girl laugh and just caught some nice trips with her and her friends that were with her. Trust me they were all beautiful girls but I didn't have any intention at time.

Second day we went there again and this time it was the younger sister that was there. Oh my God the younger sister immediately swept me off my feet. I thought the elder sister was the most beautiful I had seen in that area until I saw her younger sister. Magnificently beautiful beyond my wildest imagination.
I pick up so much interest in the younger girl and expressed myself so much to her that day though I did everything joking so she was smiling all through. It was obvious she likes me as well so I already knew I will definitely have something with her.

After a week my friend and I went there and this time the two sisters were there. While the elder one kept throwing herself at me like we are already dating, the younger one just kept her cool like there was nothing so I had to also maintain with her sister in such a way that the younger one would know am not interested in her elder sister. At a point the elder sister went to buy something so I used to opportunity to collect the younger sisters number so I call her and take her somewhere away from her neighborhood. Unfortunately she didn't have a phone because her phone was bad so I gave her one of my small phones and told her to put her sim later and I will call her the following day.

The following day we went there trust me we could tell that the atmosphere was tensed. Even their mum wasn't as welcoming as she use to be. The elder sister was not smiling at all and she ensure the younger sister didn't come to serve us. Knowing that things are not looking so good, we didn't stay as long as before then we left. When I called the younger girl, she agreed she will come see me in my hotel the next day and she actually did. There she explained to me how everyone is angry with her because her sister likes me a lot but am showing more interest in her as the younger one.
I felt her pain and she told me she likes me as well and I should do anything I feel like doing to her in the hotel room that day. I looked at her beautiful cute face and smiled, but then I told her she should go home, apologize to her sister and we don't need to do something that will definitely not lead anywhere because I will be leaving the country soon.

That's how is deleted her number and I didn't go back to that place until I left the country. How ever I miss the younger girl a lot... Chaiiiii she is really IGBO AMAKA but I be full Edo guy sha.
