you sabi but now d lady in question who had 19 abortions still got married and have 2kids now, do u think there's punishment for her or is it the innocent children that will suffer ithuh
To me she shouldn't have kids but God still gave her kids
If there's one thing I'm certain of, it's that the sin of murder is more grievous than most others.
And even though the Bible does not specifically rate sins, there are some scriptures which list out sins which God considers serious:

Proverbs 6:16-19
16 There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:
17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,
19 A false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

Regarding your question, I believe there MUST be punishment for the sin of murder. If it does not come to her in her lifetime, then it's possible that her children will bear the consequences IF they don't serve God justly.

Just take out some time and you would notice one thing about the children of David who suffered the consequences of the sin of their father; none of them were actually "innocent" – they were all guilty of one sin or the other, so it was easy for the prophecy of Nathan to befall them.

***
Oh and there's another sin which God considers very grievous. grin
This one is specifically tailored for someone like OBALOLA55 and his fellow unbelievers – people who have become 'too wise' in their own eyes that they now doubt the things of the spirit which have been written in the Bible:

Matthew 12:32
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

I think it's always better to keep mute when one does not understand the things of the scriptures.

Richy4:
I'm guessing he was talking about the part when he stole someone's wife while doing a "peeping tom" on top of his palace roof... and also order for the execution of the man in battlefield
David may have been forgiven and God even still referred to him as a man after his own heart... BUT, the punishment for that sin was served to the very end as fortold by the Prophet Nathan in:

2 Samuel 12:10
Now therefore, the sword will never depart from your house, because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own.’

Las las, all his children ended up fighting themselves and killing off each other one by one. grin
One of them even raped a half-sister and got murdered for it by her direct blood brother who found out – he himself was also killed I think... and so on and so forth. There was simply no peace among the children of David.

The one who successfully stayed alive and became King after David (King Solomon, second child of Bathsheba, former wife of Uriah) was a woman-wrapper who married many foreign women (who introduced their idols into Israel) and still kept numerous side-chicks.
By the time Solomon's son became King, 10 out of the 12 tribes of Israel refused to bow down to him and finally, Israel was divided into two kingdoms that continued fighting themselves for many years until Assyria and Babylon came and took them all into captivity.

All of the above happened just because of what?
The sin of David, a man after God's own heart. grin

It's quite unnecessary trying to downplay your social status just because you want to find out if a woman would love you for having next to nothing. cheesy

Even okada riders and shoemakers still have women who date/marry them.
And honestly, with the exception of that 'appearance of sophistication', there's really not much difference between women of different social classes.

If you feel the need to project a belittled image of yourself in order to attract a woman, then it's probably because you think you don't deserve that woman at her level.

All a man needs is his good intuition and the spirit of discernment. Once you've got these in ample supply, you will always know exactly why a woman loves you... ALWAYS.

fineboynl:
Sex is nothing and I hate it when a girl is making it to be something as I will never be interested. I once break up with a virgin even when she was crying still I revoke her as I never wanted one and will never forced one neither value it.

She thought i would be excited when she told me she was a virgin even wanted me to carry Her to the hospital to check and confirm it myself.

But I wasn't really interested in anything to do with it as I keep telling her that virgin means nothing to me and I think she has got the wrong guy. And it's best she look for someone else, atleast who will value it but definitely not me and in fact for that reason I was mean to her and broke up with her for her own good.

It's not true that I don't like or love her, but I have a principle and rules of engagement, if by this my age I don't know what I want and what excite me it all means I don't know what I am doing in life.

But Yet she never wanted to leave me and crying, it took her 1year to fully get ever me because once in a while she will call even when I blocked her and delete her contact.

Maybe she knows I was a good guy and very sincere in my nature of person and it wasn't a manipulation or something I was just the wrong guy. I'm only attracted to girls who don't see sex as anything and because you sleep with them shouldn't be a yastick of some sort or to get myself entangle into something or trouble. Same fate has affected so many girls in the past I can't make mentioned of. Sex should be mutual and come naturally, i like and value my peace.

Look like it will repeat itself again.

Here is the brief story. I meant this mature girl recently and we have a thing for each other as the interest was there. She is now so fond of me to the extent she is worried and not happy if she doesn't heard from me. The problem now is she has make a rules "no sex until marriage" I know want to get married but should that be at my peace? what I will be doing in such a relationship?

Each passing day I don't call less than 30minuts call. Even the call she called me I am the one that sent her the card. When I go visiting her she want me to buy something when coming. I am investing money, time in all this while she just sit there and enjoying it. Initially she said no sex before marriage I just wave it like a joke which many girls always says. But it's seem she is taking it too far.

The reason I was still communicating with her I don't want her to feel I disappeared because she said no sex. But relationship doesn't work like that by making her own condition.

Just this evening I was beginning to stop picking her calls and start ignoring her. Another thought was telling me to make my own condition too and maybe by that she will run by herself. I am not really interested to sleep with her anymore. Because like I said up there I don't do sex when it becomes a big deal or something worth discussing. I have a past of abandoned women in their pant or even unclothedness because just before it they make a condition for wanting to have sex with me.
Guy you need to relax... What's all this?

The people who have made it their calling to always defend this Chimamanda any time she's in the news for one controversy or the other, they're the ones I feel pity for the most.

Because if there's one thing I've always known about Ms. Adichie, it's that every time she delves outside the scope of her literary work and comments on social issues, politics, religion, etcetera...she usually ends up making a complete joke of herself.

And of course, trust her feminist minions who lack their own objective thought like ants on sugar, to always rush to defend her foolishness only to end up making themselves look like complete idiots in the process.

So suddenly trans-women are not women, yet the same Chimamanda will say feminism is about allowing people make their own choices and about respecting those choices... cheesy
Anyway, e don tay wey I know say this woman has very little to no depth.

The other time it was Hillary Clinton she was attacking for her bio on Twitter. She could not respect Hillary's choice to do that either.. LoL!

Crack, the family says all or nothing. Meaning if he doesn't marry the girl, he should relinquish all claims on the child.
Then that is what he should do if it's the ONLY option left.
That marriage will never be peaceful if he lets them bamboozle him into it.

However, he must continue supporting the lady/his child financially. And guess what?
I am VERY sure they will still continue taking his money even after making him relinquish his claims on the child.

Sis or bro please believe what you want if that will make you sleep at night.

I have stated my candid opinion based on real life situations.

Ladies rant about contracting std as if they will never make love with another man without a condom who is not immune to sleeping with another lady without a condom hence stands the chance of infecting the same lady who ran out of her marriage cos her husband cheated on her.

You talked about ladies leaving their hubbies to be with a better person..

Please define your better person in the context of this discussion...

Ladies are the biggest hypocrites especially African ladies who will not mind to be a side dish or 10th wife of a billionaire yet will cry like a wailing banchee if their struggling or not well to do husband cheats on them.. Bunch of confused selfish shallow minded species.

Sis I am way above 4decades in life I don't know your age but it will be in your best interest to put your raging emotions in check and face reality...

ONLY A FOOLISH WOMAN LEAVES HER MARRIAGE COS HER HUSBAND CHEATS... I could interpret this in many languages if needs be.

The worst part is that these shameless ladies who wail cos their husband cheats on them had also dated a married man before or probably enjoyed a randy life as unmarried lady but they suddenly think they have the audacity to control a man's sexuality...

I don't blame them but the simpletons of men who cheat on their wives until she finds out and makes a big deal of it.

A real man will tell his wife he is getting another wife not because he does not live her but he wants to for the fun of it.

Let her pack out if she likes and starts looking for a guy that will covenant his dck to only her for the rest of his life.

Please let me just stop here. Continue fooling yourself until you realize too late.

Cheers and happy Sunday.

I think people ought to normalize using the phrase 'UNPLANNED pregnancy' instead of 'UNWANTED pregnancy'... Please and please!!!

@Priceless007, nothing about your story is unusual.

You met someone, you found her attractive, one thing led to another and sex happened. Pregnancy is just the expected natural consequence of having sex, especially when you don't observe standard safety protocols.
Next time, be more careful...

However, there are two things I would like to point out:

1. You must do right by that child, and this means providing whatever you can financially for the mother to have a comfortable delivery.
I don't want to bring up the issue of paternity because person wey never see money to buy pampers should not be told to use money to run DNA tests. But still, have it in mind and consider having this done somewhere down the line.

2. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, marry into that family.
That she is about to be the mother of your child does not mean she must also be your wife... Na two different things oo. Take note!
First of all, she doesn't seem like someone who has plenty sense and secondly, her family doesn't seem like they have sense either – this one they're already harassing you at this point, is giving me all kinds of danger vibes.

With all that out of the way, I wish you a hearty congratulations. You're the latest baby daddy on NL. cool

don4real18:
Some months ago, I was supposed to get married to a lovely lady (Alias-Celia) whom I thought the universe made just for me. I find it unfortunate that this beautiful story was just never meant to be. This write-up is my story.
______________________________________________
Five years ago, while we both stared at the moon sitting in my compound and telling tales of our childhood, I studied her profile. She had a perfect-shaped jaw with rounded edges, full lips, and her ability to smile with so much ease. Her skin glowed against the moonlight, and her aura filled with so much innocence. It was no surprise when I finally popped the question asking her to be my girlfriend.

Four days later, I got a yes as her reply, and it became a beautiful relationship. Our companionship was a show of true love, or so I thought. She taught me to be a better kisser, and I made her be a better lover. We did almost everything together, and when challenges came, we solved them even though she was stubborn; A bit more than me.

Many moons down the line of love and sometimes distrust, she was to relocate to the FCT, the state where her family resides. I knew I was going to miss her, and it wasn't easy letting her go.

We did part ways at the airport, and ever since then, we were always on calls. I did notice later that I did most of the calling, and as time went on as it must, the regular calls became once in a while, and soon, it became longer.

I did play a little with other girls and tried getting into a relationship with others, but it just didn't work out. Perhaps, I wanted the kind of love that they could not give in return. It was no surprise when years later, my calls with Celia became regular and, I didn't mind doing most of the calling.

Soon, I traveled to Abuja, and she didn't seem enthusiastic about seeing me, even though my love clawed at my heart with a renewed burst of energy. This time, I decided that I wouldn't let go. I stayed in FCT for a while, I met her family, and I guess her feelings returned.

I returned to Lagos to continue working, and some months down the line, I was in Abuja again to see the one that I loved. We agreed that she would have to come to Lagos, and some months after I left Abuja, she arrived in the rowdy Lagos.

She met my family, and I popped the question, "will you marry me?" in a romantic atmosphere, and she was so happy that she was going to spend the rest of her life with me.

We made plans until the event of Corona took place, and it greatly affected my business. I became broke, but that didn't stop me from traveling to 3 different states to meet her family members and her pastor in FCT.

We did agree that we were going to have a small wedding, and the day of the introduction came, and I traveled with my family, spent a lot of money on hotel bills, etc. It did go well, and that was when it started.

She reneged on our agreement on the size of the wedding. She told me that she wanted to have her dream wedding although she had no money. I could not bring myself to spend so much on a wedding only to end up eating hand to mouth in my marriage. It became a back and forth argument. Her dad wanted it small, but her siblings wanted it big. My mum did try to advise her, but she felt my mum shouldn't have a say in her wedding being a supposed generation Z.

I did have to look for ways she would be happy without spending too much. Then the counseling issue came, and I was informed to come back to Abuja by her pastor. It was inconvenient, so I told her to recommend virtual counseling because I'm not ready to go and spend a lot staying there. She was mad at my response, saying that it was disrespectful, suggesting such to a supposed man of God, making it disrespectful to God.

I did try to let her know that we could use the money to do something else, but she was adamant. After some time, I did succumb to her demand, but she felt that it should not have led to an argument in the first place and decided to call the wedding off. I tried calming her down and even suggested that we postpone it, but she wouldn't budge with a reason so petty. It hurt at first. It made me lose focus for a while, but I guess I've pretty patched up now hence my decision to share with you all.

God bless us all.
That's just what I was waiting to read from you...

What you need now is just a cold drink... a very cold alcoholic drink. cool

I met this babe that keep telling me no sex until marriage, she has visited me in my house and I know she was badly wet when I seduce her but she tried to hold ground and avoid me touching her further. She said if I like her I should go and marry her, Also she said she turned many men down as a result of that and they left because of her policy. I know she is trying to get married at all cost by protecting herself and to avoid wasting of further time with men but everything get intriguing to me which I told her it will be very hard as most men need a date before talking of marriage.

She is very churchy which is normal for most girls of such ages.

so question lead to questions because I want to know if she is not having sex or something.

[s]Also i like the fact she opened up to me although it was not easy before she told me but the revelation was difficult to stomach. Imagine She started having sex at the age of 9 and she is 31 now. That's about 22 years.

Even me when be bros to her at that time she was having sex I was still nerve. It seems majority of girls started it way too early and the question that is disturbing me is who are these men disvirgin little little girls of this ages? It's so painful to hearing if things like this.[/s]
Keep trying (that's if you're a patient guy)... she will probably let you have sex with her sooner than later –they always do.

@Cancelled post:
Whatever age she started having sex is irrelevant if your purpose is just to have sex. You simply collect your own share and meuuuuve – those details about her sexual past are "background noise" to be ignored.

Why cant the traditional rulers from our side make amends on this issue. Let the payment of traditional marriage list be optional. If you have the money to pay good. But if you dont have, just pay the bride price and move ahead. Why must they make things difficult for young men. I work in the north and all my colleagues who are hausa have gotten married. Even those who earn far less than me are married. Their process is so simple, just buy the box of cloth for the lady as you can, then next thing they go to mosque for prayer and payment of bride price then boom, marriage ceremony is over. Those who can afford it will organize dinner for the family members, thats all. Why cant things be made simple for our young guys so that they can get married easily.

I just feel like talking on and on, but let me just stop here as my mind is not at rest.
