sexkillz: Love generally. . . Emphasis on Romantic Amorous love.Ok... In lay man's English, you mean charming a lady right? Well its going to be a tough debate. I would publicize where I stand on the d-day. I wouldn't want to loose you know... ![]() |
obadiah777: HEY BRAH CRAZYMAN, HOW BODY ?I'm cool...long time ![]() obadiah777: NAH THAT VERSE WAS NOT REFERING TO ABRAHAM. THAT VERSE ( ROMANS 4 VS 15 ) WAS REFERING TO THE GENTILES SINS BEFORE THEY GOT ADDED TO THE LAW AFTER CHRISTS DEATH. BASICALLY WHAT THAT VERSE MEANS IS THAT IF THERE IS NO LAWS AGAINST A PARTICULAR THING IN THE BIBLE, THEN IT IS NOT A SIN. THERE IS NO LAWS IN THE BIBLE THAT SAYS THOU SHALL NOT KILL THYSELF. YOU KNOW WHY ? BECAUSE ALL ISSUES OF DEATH BELONGS TO THE LORD ( PSALMS 68 VS 20 ). IF YOU KILL YOURSELF ? THATS JUDGEMENT FOR CRIMES YOU HAVE COMMITTED. THE LORD DID IT SO YOU WOULD PUNISH YOURSELF. ANY ISSUE OF DEATH, EVEN SUICIDE, IS FROM THE LORD. PSALMS 68 VS 20 AND PROVERBS 20 VS 24Although the bible didn't specifically tell us its stand on suicide, it made us understand that those who were compelled to commit the act, were possessed by demonic spirits. See my previous posts for valid proof. So permit me to say that since christ came to give us life as in John 10:10, and the devil comes to kill, steal and destroy, then common wisdom should make you understand that suicide is of the devil and God is strictly against it. |
Cleverley: up to me on what regard? Go to churches and see how distracted alot of men are, due to the so called dressing, make-ups and other desperate ladies seat just to lure men to themselves. To crazy man, do u live only by what the bible says?. . .I'm a christian, so I must to what my bible tells me to do. 1 John 2:6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. And if you say you're a christian, then I would suggest that you do likewise. Thanks. |

sexkillz: This debate should hold on Saturday if all goes well. Pls indicate your interest. Male and female inclusive and also indicate whether you would be arguing for, or against the motion. Are we going to be debating based on the Nigerian system of love, or the world in general? I'd like to have proper knowledge of the topic... Something like Money is required to sustain love in Nigeria yes/no...would be much better Cos if you maintain you stand on the topic (money is required to sustain love), then believe me, those opposing would have the upper hand. Think about it. Thanks. |
Cuddlemii: A fling is completely acceptable and healthy for consenting adults. Discuss!Ok here goes... I would begin by defining properly what a fling means. Fling from my own perspective is a temporary, brief romance that sits somewhere between the one-night stand and the full-blown relationship. And for this reason, it should never, under any circumstances, become something more. Now to the topic at hand... I would go against your motion. Flings are not meant to last ... although sometimes they do but don't count on it, because it can never be acceptable and healthy for consenting adults Also, Sometimes or rather most of the time, a fling is just sex, therefore it has terrible consequences because it leads to no friendship, no feelings, and no future. So when the fling is all but over, don't expect to be able to sit on the phone with your fling for hours to talk about your past failed relationships and your deep-seated father issues. If there was no friendship to begin with, don't expect sex to create one. Most often it won't. Thirdly, a fling no matter level of estascy it brings you into, is or should be considered as cheating. Most especially when the individuals involved are either married or in a serious relationship. Finally, If you’re not an un-observing fellow (or brand new to the relationship), then you probably should have a good idea what constitutes “cheating” in your relationship. A fling should be on your top list. If you don’t know, you should probably ask. If however you find yourself in a situation where you ask yourself, “this thing I’m doing, it doesn’t really count as cheating, does it?” then the answer is probably “yeah, it does.” Because if you have to ask, it means your conscience is at war with you. And that means what you're doing is wrong. With this few points of mine, I hope I've be able to convince and not to confuse you that A fling is completely un- acceptable and unhealthy for consenting adults. What's your opinion... |
Cuddlemii: I am good jare. You would not kill me with laughter ![]() So you still haven't gotten over the fling stuff... ![]() Alright its a debate...where do you stand? For it or against it? |
Cuddlemii: Na wa for U oh!I meant a random topic we could trash out here you know...keep ourselves busy. But emmm...never mind... Wouldn't want to trouble you much, I can see you're busy; moreover, you already doing a nice job here so keep it up. ![]() By the way, how was your day? ![]() HumbledbYGrace: *waves @ everyone*Hi...what's up with you? ![]() |
Personal question; do you sin freely even when you know it's against the commandment?
Well...I'm not perfect if that's what you're trying to ask me. But as for sinning freely, if I do that, it would be a mockery to my faith. I try as much as possible to keep myself away from avoidable sins. But whenever I feel I've done something wrong, I would immediately ask God for forgiveness. Hebrews 10:22. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Do you wish your brothers and neighbors harm when you pray?
Why should I do that? Let me use Nairaland as an example. The atheist in the house can attest to my attitude towards them. Even though the make jest of God and say blasphemous words on daily basics, I still joke with them, laugh with them and even wish them well. You can ask them if you doubt me. We're all children of God...so I'm in no way better than anyone here. I can never wish any one harm whenever I pray. |
iykeboyy: some time i keep asking my self this question whether God can say my son no need of going to high institution just go straight into business. i have this friend who has sat JAMB AND POST UME for more than three sittings although with very high score but no admission . the guy in question want to give up with the excuse that it is not the will of God for him to attend high institution.please advise they guy. Ur honestest contribution can save his futureCan you shed more light on the bolded? What was the reason why he couldn't get the admission? You said he got a high score, did he get up to the required cut-off mark? I need to understand you properly before I can make any comment. |
I hope Papa Jona adds enough boats and canoes to the country's budget this year. |
So recording the fire incident on their phones seems much better to them than trying to put it out. Nigerians would never cease to amuse me. ![]() |
jay bee: Topic of Debate:Ok... Let's keep our fingers crossed then... |
afam4eva: Ohh, so this is a female-only debate...Nna na waooExactly what I'm trying to point out... |
Cuddlemii: Selective?I see... Romance debate is going down tonight (strictly ladies for today) yours also (strictly ladies) Its well. |
Cuddlemii: Sorry I was busy creating a thread.Alright no problem...I understand the nature of your job, so I'll just have to patient for you. Cuddlemii: What game is that?Emmm...let's see...alright...could we debate on a topic of your choice? A good warm up for you in respect to your thread should be welcomed... What do you think? |
Seems like a very selective debate to me... But good luck to it anyway. |
This is not surprising to me. They are just looking for another way to start another crisis and another reason for war. They always find a reason for Jihad. Isn't that their trademark? War, fight, kill and destroy? |
My goodness...she looks so I would prefer her previous state (slim and dark skinned) any day any time to this camouflaged look. |
As usual, let's put the blame on Papa Jona - a typical Nigerian style adopted by we Nigerians to comfort ourselves from failure caused by our nonchalant attitude and incompetence. ![]() I shall begin...Well done Papa Jona...you've succeeded in ruining our national team just also. ![]() Next... ![]() |
What's with all this N1m offering? ![]() I remember us treating a similar subject not too long ago... ![]() I think its high time I start looking forward to my own share of this N1m offering. ![]() |
Cleverley: heaven help those who help themselvesCan you tell me where in the bible you got that quote from? |
obadiah777: ITS NOT A SIN. ROMANS 4 VS 15That verse was referring to Abraham... Suicide is a sin buzugee!!! It is a sin. The Bible if you must know records well-known incidents of suicide - King Saul in the Old Testament Judas Iscariot in the New Testament, and When Jesus Christ healed a man of demon possession at Gerasenes, Even though the circumstances of Saul and Judas were different, they did have something very much in common. Saul was under the influence of an evil spirit (1 Samuel 16:14), and Judas had been directly entered by Satan (John 13:27). And the third case which I mentioned, Jesus had the demons go out from the man and into a large herd pigs that were grazing nearby (Mark 5:1-12). And what did the pigs do after the demons had entered them? They ran down the bank, into the lake, and drowned themselves (Mark 5:13). With the demons in them, the pigs committed suicide. Read you bible properly buzugee cos suicide is of the devil...therefore it is a sin. |
@Op Give her some time...its obvious that she's still trying to recover from the heart break of her ex. I'm sure she likes you, but she just need time to figure things out. I would therefore suggest that you give it to her. Odunnu: unu ga egbu mmadu!Maka gini kwanu |

Galatians 3:28-29. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. This passage has stated it clearly that both men and women are one in christ. So, being of the opinion that, the men should be separated from women in seating settings, for full concentration to the sermon. (In a church which is body of christ) is totally ridiculous. Hence my previous question... Are you a christian? |
MacDaddy01: 7) MacLet's hope the mods move this to the front page. |
Are you a christian? |
I can't...due to reasons best known to me. ![]() |

adegbitown: Hello people. Is it right for a good christian sister, in a Godly relationship to cook for her fiancé when she goes visiting at his place. What's your take on this?Is your fiancé also a good christian brother? Because if he isn't, he can make you succumb to his other desires, therefore cooking wouldn't be the only gesture he would be demanding from you. |
