Wole Soyinka is right. But the truth of this matter is that the northerners are in full support of this Boko Haram, one question we should ask is this, Who are the Boko Haram, their sponsors and what do they want? I mean you can't possibly declare war on people you have little knowledge of...you can't wage war against ghosts. Question is...what is boko haram about? Politics? hmmm my fellow Nigerians and Nairalanders, War is coming O!!!, the rage between Christians and muslims in Nigeria is coming sit and try to be unethical. If we don't open our eyes and become wise, the muslims specifically Hausas and Fulani will turn Nigeria into Afghanistan, they have already started turning it in some northern parts of the country and is spreading like a disease. Sit there and underestimate the Hausas as peaceful people, take them as a fools, because for so long people have been underestimating the Hausas saying ''the real Hausa man can not hot a fly'' and i laugh, call any one illiterate or ethical this is the reality. It hurts when your religion or your people are being painted bad image, but this is the question Hausas (muslim) Don't you support Boko Haram? aren't you angry that a Christian is ruling Nigeria? Prof Soyinka is asking the government to fight boko haram...how ironic! I think its high time we break up and go our separate ways so this unnecessary hatered, killing and tribalism can end...cos its very obvious that we can no longer live in peace and harmony. All Hail Biafra! |
Why would a man say you should keep fit for his soon because he would want his son to marry you?
Would you mind re-phrasing please... |
obadiah777: very poignant points and great knowledge in your post. i agree with you. the bible speaks about them in REVELATIONS 2 VS 9 and REVELATIONS 3 VS 9Exactly...I guess we're on the same boat then... ![]() |
ismaeel86: Pls i need sincere advise on this issue, you have a girlfriend but only see each other twice a month or sometimes just once in a month. the only medium of communication is through phone calls, texts messages, bb pinging and whatsapp, although both of you live in the same town.Nope that's not a relationship... |
obadiah777: VERY TRUE BUT THEIR ARE STILL PEOPLE WHO ARE LINEAGE JEWS THOUGH. WOULD YOU SAY THE TALMUDISTS ARE THE REAL JEWS ? THE ONES IN MODERN DAY ISRAEL TODAYYou mean Hasidism right? Hasidism comprises part of contemporary Ultra-Orthodox Judaism, alongside the previous Talmudic Lithuanian-Yeshiva approach and the Oriental Sephardi tradition. Its charismatic mysticism has inspired non-Orthodox Neo-Hasidic thinkers and influenced wider modern Jewish denominations, while its scholarly thought has interested contemporary academic study. Each Hasidic dynasty follows its own principles; thus Hasidic Judaism is not one movement, but a collection of separate individual groups with some commonality. There are approximately 30 larger Hasidic groups, and several hundred minor groups. Though there is no one version of Hasidism, individual Hasidic groups often share with each other underlying philosophy, worship practices, dress (borrowed from local cultures), and songs (borrowed from local cultures). They're not or cannot be considered as the real jews cos their origin isn't jewish. |

Do people now need visas to enter Lagos state? Fashola has to be very careful with the way he treats non indigines of the state or else he would end up wrecking Lagos and having countless enemies for himself. To be honest...I'm beginning to hate that man. Why would he drop people in Anambra state? Is something wrong with him? Can't he respect my state? Or does Anambra state look like a human refuse bin to him? |
A girl with an immoral dressing, a girl looking very dirty or a girl who has tattoos all over her body can automatically turn me off at first sight. |
vescucci: The Op was deliberately touching and makes one go awww cuz it employed the tactic of making the theist the underdog. The Professor was made to look bad at first and then the student went on the offence later and seemed to have vanquished the oppressor. But the op shot himself in the foot because all he did was ignore the Professor's questions and went on a totally unnecessary tangent. We all agree that light and heat have no opposite. The same with life and death. But what about good and evil? Love and hate? So if the article is to be truly honest it would offer answers at the points where the student "couldn't answer. The Professor answered his questions (even he was made to get them wrong) and upon reason they both came to a conclusion. I believe in God but I cannot find any convincing reason why an atheist should believe as I do.I'm with you bro...especially the bolded part |
Your life and health is at stake here...since its obvious that she cannot be trusted, then for the sake of your future, let her be...its ok to remain as friends with her, but refrain yourself from partaking in any form of seexual activities with her...just to be on the safe side. |
geepy: My girl friend wants me to start her marriage plan now and probably do the marriage next year. And if i dont, she will*Sighs* Do you have full understanding of what marriage entails? Marriage isn't something you rush into...it requires proper planing and good investment. Your reason for early marriage shouldn't be because your girlfriend pushed you into it...if go down that lane, I'm afraid your marriage would be filled with regrets. geepy: But the problem is i am not ready for marriage now, because i am not through with my education and i am not satisfy with my per time job salary. You must be having a hallucination. So you know you're not ready for marriage, and you're fully aware that your income is nothing to write home about...then if I many ask, what do you and your bride intend to survive on if eventually you get married? geepy: This is a girl i love so much and i have spent so much on. So what should i do in this situatin.I would suggest that you wait till you're ready. geepy: I am 25 and she is 24. But she will be 25 dis month.Your age isn't an issue here...the main issue is for you to be financially, matured, socially and responsibly ready. Good luck. |
rokiatu: I am not talking about only physical appearance here, behaviour as well. When you love someone, you'd love everything about them, including their flaws. Therefore you don't look for faults....You'd accept their faults and overlook their excuses. You won't seek for answers, neither would you criticize them for mistakes...you'd rather fight the mistakes. As for physical appearance, they say "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" . Therefore you would overlook their physical defect and love them beyond possible imagination. For the behaviour...they say "birds of same feather flock together" once it has been proven that you two can tolerate each other, I see no reason why you shouldn't be together. The measure of love is when you love without measure. And I believe that there are rare chances that you'll meet the person you love and who loves you in return. So if par-venture, you find such person, don't him/her go because the chance may never come your way again. |
Ihedinobi: He will, bro. He Himself has promised that He will not lose any committed to Him. Said Paul with words that were born in my own heart as well, "I know Him Whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed to Him against that day."Well said |
Well..i am blessed not to have an abusive partner.
That's a plus for you then...I'm happy for you. |
wiegraf: Which is?Now you believe that evil exists right? Allow me to prove to you just like the student did to the prof... Evil as you know, is not a positive thing that is out there in the world, but merely an absence of good. God therefore cannot be blamed for bringing evil into existence; evil is not a thing and so was not brought into existence. The idea that the world contains evil (i.e. certain privations of good) can thus be reconciled with the idea that it was created by a God who would not create evil; it is only the good in the world that was created, the bad is merely an absence of good. Therefore from that theory (the prof and the student), permit me to say that evil does not exist. And if evil doesn't exist, it means there is good somewhere and the good comes from God; which means God exist. wiegraf: there's also this "Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor. There we go again...then why did you choose to believe in evolution - and reject the bible? wiegraf: Are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?"Isn't 4.6 billion years a hell of a life time? If a scientist can acknowledge the fact that the earth is billions of years old don't you think its absurd to remain adamant on the evolution theory...I mean why haven't any stones become animals, and why haven't animals evolved into humans? If the theory is true why isn't there any visible evidence or proof to back it up? wiegraf: "Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?Well...I would go with the brain theory, unless I want to begin a baseless argument. Humans have brains...the theory has been proven true by medical experts, and some scientist. We have visible proof the human brain exist...therefore further argument is baseless. wiegraf: Similar to a stunt anony constantly tries to pull. If this is were a real prof... well, then again considering some of the phd holders around... Anyways, bottom line is the professor having a brain can be verified, he could take a scan, you could kill him and see for yourself, you could test his reflexes, responses and what not and compare them to other humans you know have brains, which is the standard human lol, etc. It's a testable situation.True! wiegraf: God is not testable, it cannot be verified or tested in a lab no matter what you do, therefore you have to accept it exists on faith. Why do you think you can test God...God doesn't have to become some lab rat for you to poke a few pins into before you believe he exists. If you claim that the existence of God is questionable, the allow me to say that scientific theory on evolution is also questionable because we're yet to see physical proofs. wiegraf: And cunning? Do ho ho, no. That would indicate a desire to be dishonest, no cunning here, just facts.Facts? To be honest, I couldn't find any. |
wiegraf: YESI'm cool...@bolded Ok even...if it there were man made and make believe stories, the first story by the op made a lot of sense. (The one about the prof and the student) I know you're an atheist, so you would look for cunning ways to debunk it from the onset. I would therefore suggest that you remove your atheism approach, and take a look at the article with a neutral mind for a second time, and I'm sure we both would come to one conclusion. |
obadiah777: I AM GUESSING HE THINKS GODS ELECT ARE THOSE PEOPLE IN ISRAEL TODAY WHO CALL THEMSELVES JEWS. WOULD YOU SUBSCRIBE TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE THE REAL JEWS ?Never...christ's death brought everyone close to God it gave the jews and the gentiles equal right to God's kingdom. So if you're from israel or from Nigeria, once you accept christ you become a heir to the kingdom. |
Delejumi: It is no more a news that the Muslim world are breathing violence all around, The power surging group in Mali, the dreadfull art of Boko haram, the jihadist in Asia, these ones are enough for Christains to sit down and ask God for the interpretation of THIS TIME.The bolded post has answered your question. We're in the end time. And mind you, no one and I repeat, no one can wipe out God's elect. |
@wiegraf, Are you saying the story is a make believe story, it never happened? That christians just made it up to feel much better that God exist? Is that what you're saying? |
Are you asking this question because you're envying your colleague? You should know that hardwork and God's favour is the key to a successful life. So stop envying people with questionable favours and work hard to achieve yours. Thanks. |
Here's so bored...I put up that little game so we can ease ourselves of the boredom...seems no one is interested...I'm out ![]() |
ijawkid: Lmao....Then drink some of the local gin in da house...sepe, paraga etc. ![]() |
Cuddlemii: maybe we should play a gameHow about this game... Finish off the sentence making sure that the last word rhymes with the last word in the sentence before the person after 5 sentences with rhyming words changes the last word to a word of their choice and the same thing goes on If the last word is too difficult and there is absolutely nothing that can rhyme with it then it can be changed before 5 sentences the last word can also be words which may not be one word but when pronounced sounds like the word before I will show an example... Talking about sin makes me shiver. I shivered so much i could feel it in my liver Next... |
I have met her husband and he works in construction. You are not allow to drink nor smoke drugs on construction contracts in my area. If you dropped dirty..you are fired.
I see...so his abrasive nature is inbuilt. He isn't being controlled by any drugs or drinks. I guess the woman is at fault then. She can't claim not to have noticed his true nature until now...I guess she was a victim of the phrase " love is blind " I still feel for her though...but its obvious that either the man doesn't love her any more or he's gradually going insane.
What other ways i can help her but talk to her and offer to help pay for hotel? I have to watch my hubby as well....he want me to mind my business.
Yea I remembered you stating earlier that your husband is against your hospitality towards that lady. Like I stated before, I won't blame him...the matter really isn't any of your business. Moreover, if you know that getting so involved in this case might cost you your marriage, I would suggest that you harken unto the voice of thine husband and stay the hell out. |
Its a free world my man...therefore I won't try to discourage you. I think its high time Nigerians names get into that Guinness book of record. |
