Nairaland GeneralRe: MODERATORS: Can You Give Us A Section For Farming/agric Issues by CrazyMan(m):
Seun: Agriculture is basically all about food production, therefore I think Agriculture threads will be right at home in the food section.
No Seun it isn't.

I visit the food section once in a while, an all I see is how to prepare this food and that food, recipe menus or whatever its called, best food you like etc.

Agriculture is totally different from that.

The university system even knew this that's why they offer a course called food technology or food science, and another call Agriculture.

They didn't merge them together because they knew the difference.

Agriculture if you ask me, deals mainly with the following...

Altering or changing the natural environment (removing trees, tilling the soil, installing an irrigation system, etc.

Mono-cropping, or planting one crop (eg: only corn is grown in a plot discuss).

Irrigation (watering), and harvesting all over again.

Fertilization, planting, using insecticides and pesticides to keep insects and animals from eating the crops.

Enlighting people that fertilization chemicals are not only poisonous to insects, animals and humans, they also pollute ground water, streams, rivers, and oceans.

Etc and etc.

Its totally different from the food section oga Seun.

And if you give the green light on the creation, I believe Nigerians would benefit from it.

Thanks in advance.

Exactly.

My prayer is that they deliver - and the government should construct enough drainage systems in the county, so such calamity wouldn't re-occur in future.

Wrong again.

I don't have to be in any cult before I defend my friend who is being murdered unjustly.

If those guys were cult boys, and their friends were among the on-looker, then their deaths would have been averted. Because all it would have taken would have been a 45 seconds call to their members for possible back up.

No good thinking Nigerian youth (cultist or not) would fold his arm in fear and watch as his friends are brutally murdered.

Its not possible.

EducationRe: How To Be The Best In Your Course Of Study In The University by CrazyMan(m): 12:35pm On Oct 09, 2012
shyeetle: Hw do dey calculate total GP for sum1 offering 9 courses
First you add the total number of quality points in those 9 courses.

If for example, you have 6 courses whose credit unit is 2, and the remaining 3 courses have 3 credit units.

All you have to do is to add 'em up.

2+2+2+2+2+2 = 12

3+3+3 = 9

12+9 = 21

So you total credit unit for that semester is 21.

Now to calculate you Gp for the semester, whatever grade you get in a course, must be recorded accordingly.

Eg. A in a 2 credit unit course = 2X5 = 10 points

A in a 3 unit course = 3X5 = 15points.

And so on...

When you're true with the calculation, you divide it by 21. Whatever you get, is your Gp for that semester.

Good luck.

Even the uniport students who cry crocodile tears should also be blamed.

I learnt that the boys were apprehended in aluu community at about 3am in the morning, and were tortured and finally killed around 12pm in the afternoon?

Now the big question is .

1. Where were the hypocrite students when all these was going on? Cos judging from the video I watched, the boys were killed in the open. And if you listen carefully, you'll observe the sounds of cars in the background.

So I ask again, where were the uniport students?

Where was their so called SUG persident?

2. Where was the police? I've never been to PH, but judging from various articles I've read on this matter, every community is entitled to a local police post.

Now tell me how possible it is for some beasts to torture 4 boys for over 8 hours, and the news wouldn't get to security operatives.

I even read another article when the matter hasn't escalated to this stage, the community claimed that security personnels were aware of the murder because they were armed robbers!

And even on of the victims parents confirmed that she encountered JTF officials at the scene when the news reached her about her son's murder.

So who is fooling who?

I feel that the uniport students are cowards!

The Nigerian police are cowards!

The JTF are cowards!

Aluu community is coursed!

Their inhabitants are beasts!

Nigeria needs God's divine intervention!

I rest my case!

If indeed they were cultist as the poster claimed, then their death should provoke their members to seek for vengeance.

Unfortunately, no group had carried any reprisal attacks, so this proves that they weren't cultists.

Christianity EtcRe: Is Having Wet Dreams A Sin? by CrazyMan(m): 10:43am On Oct 09, 2012
kunletiwoo: The body will automatically purge semen if there is no sexual activity. This is likely to happen more often when there are no conscious ejaculations.

Semen is manufactured constantly, for example; If there is a glass full of water, and you add more to it, it overflows. Similarly if one does not indulge in sexual intercourse or masturbation(not asking to you to do), semen will spill out as wet dreams, and is hence, absolutely normal.

A wet dream is medically known as a 'Nocturnal Emission'.

Christianity EtcLet's Talk About Sex (by Pastor E. A. Adeboye) by CrazyMan(op): 10:42am On Oct 09, 2012
Hello everybody, LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX Proverbs 4:23, Proverbs 6: 23-27 be careful what you take in, the music and movies you watch could desensitizes you to the truth.

It is the truth you know that will set you free. Colossians 3:5-6 you are to honour God with your body, sex is not allowed outside marriage. Even though Nike may say 'Just do it!" You are not to have SEX! The simple thought of sex crossing your mind is not a sin but the desire for sex is the sin! Sex goes beyond the physical, it's spiritual and emotional! In the bible, when a man sleeps with his wife the bible says "He knew his wife" but when a young man sleeps with an unmarried woman the bible says "He laid with her" Don't let anybody deceive you, you can know them by their words. e.g "You don't need to tell anybody what we are about to do!" If a guy comes to you with a condom, he is a con(artist) and you are dumb! Virginity is something you give away and not what is taken from you by force! If you were violated and tampered with, only your virginity is broken, you destiny isn't, so don't mess up yourself! You are still so precious in God's sight.

God values you; He values your body so honor Him with it! 85% of those who live together before getting married end up divorced. 50% of marriages in UK and 80% of black marriages in US end up in divorce! If you sell yourself cheap, you end up being treated anyhow.

A man who cannot treat you like a lady doesn't deserve you and any woman who cannot treat you like a prince doesn't deserve you! Don't start what you can't handle! The skin is only a few centimeters deep and beneath that skin, there are 18million nerves passing information round.

Whenever someone touches you sexually, your nerves sends info that are stored somewhere in your brain. That's why when you see the person later you remember the touch! You have imprints of people on your life through sexual relationships. Don't let anyone touch you in a way that is not holy.

From hugs to kissing and then the deed happens unplanned! Once you mess up your sexual life, it messes up your spiritual life! Get it right! Exodus 26, 27 gives a summary of the Tabernacle. It was divided into the outer court, the Holy place, Holy of Holies. As a human being, your body is the outer court, your soul the holy place and your spirit the holy of holies! The outer court gave access to many levities and they brought their sacrifices there. Your body is your outer court many people will have access to you, you'll meet many boys/girls but be careful, many will come and go. Proverbs 4:23 Only a priests were allowed into the holy place.

The holy in your body is your soul. Your emotions are conceived there. Before you let anyone touch your soul, be very careful! The reason many broken relationship ends up a soul tie is because they let someone else make an impact on their soul and no matter how much they try to forget the person it is difficult. Guard your soul; don't let just any nice person get in. The holy place had a lamp stand in it, anyone who must get into your holy place was be a lamp.

Ladies, any man that wants to court/date/marry you must have more light than you already have! He needs to be the lamp! Don't settle for less! Only the High priest was allowed to enter into the holy of holies (Hebrews 9:7) ! He had to break through the veil to get in. There is only man allowed to get into you and that is your husband! When a man sleeps with a virgin, it's more than just sex! It's spiritual, it's a blood covenant! Guys note, everywhere you go as a man and have sexual releases, your testicles will testify against you! The reason God gave you two testicles is because the bible says out of 2 or more witnesses, a statement is established (Deuteronomy 17:6).

There is a point when sexual activities go beyond the physical, it becomes a demonic activity! It is spiritual! Easy sex does not make more romance; it neither gives you joy and happiness! When you have sex while waiting to be married, you crush the foundation of your marriage. Don't let anyone blackmail you to stay in a relationship! After giving your life to Christ break away from every ungodly relationship! Titus 2:11-12 To get out: It requires the decision to maintain your integrity! It requires a bold step to confront ungodly relationship you are in! Break away and make a vow to be pure! Keep yourself and honour God with your life! No sex is safe sex! Desire change, deny yourself. I urge you to spread this message now and my God will richly bless you.

CyberG: 1. You don't know if I am Ibo or Yoruba and even that FACT has nothing to do with historical debate. Stay on the topic only.
Then refrain from your biased replies and learn to post more constructively.

CyberG: 2. Ojuku was NEVER a political administrator or teacher. He was in the military (military governor whose administration killed 3 M+) and NEVER was a teacher at anytime. Otherwise, provide poofs.
Just one reply and I'm already perceiving your seeming ignorance.

If you must know, He (Ojukwu) joined the civil service in Eastern Nigeria as an Administrative Officer at Udi, in present-day Enugu State.

In 1957, within months of working with the colonial civil service, he left and joined the military as one of the first and few university graduates to join the army:

So just for the records, he was an administrator...

CyberG: 3. I don't know about the Yorubas but ojukwu never convinced them of anything. How is it in your best interest if a thief invades your house without invitation?
Do you have any knowledge of the war, or do you just post because you see a reply button below the screen?

His suggestion of Ogundipe as the next head of state won him the hearts of most yoruba officers.

You should note that Lt. Col. Adewale Ademoyega fought on the biafran side, col Banjo also wasn't an exception; and other yoruba officers gave him their support.

So do your home work properly before countering my posts.

CyberG: 4. ojuku did not suggest strategy to Nigeria on how to win the war, why should Gowon or Chief Awolowo suggest the strategy to biafra on how to win? Why didn't Hitler Erwin Rommel or Hitler suggest the strategy to the Allies on how to win? I am really curious to know your answer.
Where in my posts did I say Ojukwu suggested a strategy on how to win the war?

You need to improve on your reading skills cos I'm already getting pissed off with the way you're misquoting me.
PoliticsRe: Achebe On Awo: Igbo, Yoruba Leaders In ‘verbal Warfare’ by CrazyMan(m): 5:44pm On Oct 08, 2012
Awolowo and Soyinka are both heartless men.

Awolowo: suggested to the federal government that killing innocent people by starvation is a wonderful strategy. The blood of two million easterners will forever hunt him and his generations.

Soyinka: the founder of campus cults. He formed the pyrates confratenity, an so far, the lives of hundreds of thousands Nigerian students have been terminated as a result of the evil he brought into our society.

Its no news that although he (Soyinka) founded campus cults, he has refused to address the issue; despite the inhuman way thousands have lost their lives.

This brings me to a conclusion that the so called highly respected yoruba leaders are nothing but blood sucking demons.

You all should remove the planks in your eyes before accusing ojukwu of cowardice.

Its obvious that your posts are plagiarized...nevertheless, I shall reply you.

@topic...

So what truth have you proven?

If you stop being irrational and look outside the box, perhaps you'd come to the same conclusion with me.

Ojukwu as we all know, was the only Nigerian leader that enunciated principles and played down personalities. He was a brilliant political administrator and a most erudite teacher.

He not only identified himself wholly with the aspirations of the Yoruba people of Nigeria but also he was able to convince the Yoruba people of Nigeria that he was after their best interest. Its so annoying why you guys hate him so much.

He was loved, he was feared but above all he belonged to the people he professed to lead.

Such couldn't be said of Awo.

Awo, was a leader who took it upon himself to suggest to the federal government that starving innocent women and children is the best strategy to winning a war.

Suppose it was two yoruba states or communities that such an incident occurred, would he have brought up such an inhuman suggestion?

That ojukwu fought and lost a war shouldn't give you the right to make a mockery of his personality, because you yorubas can never produce a leader as great as Ojukwu. Not now, not ever.
