Romance › Re: 10 Pictures Single And Frustrated Ladies Can Relate To by Crixina(f): 8:49am On Mar 03, 2018 |
A typical thread an average Nigerian man would create. A man who thinks the whole essence of God creating a human being is for their lives to revolve around another human being.
Create a thread that is educational and brain tasking, some won't even relate, create one that despises women, gbam! Anyway, I blame the silly bunch of women that have brought this on the women folk. |

Culture › Re: The Message A Man Received From A Nigerian And An Argentinian Lady Over Culture by Crixina(f): 3:38pm On Feb 28, 2018 |
aaronson: Most Nigerian are fantastically ignorant and miseducated. When I say most, I mean 60.8% population plus the graduates and masters holders.
If I hadn't been to the university I wouldn't have known this.
I'm pretty much ignorant myself due to the failed system but am not so arrogant about it like the rest of the population. God bless you Sir We might be misinformed due to our failed system, which I think it isn't even an excuse, but the right thing to do most times, which Nigerians don't do is to be humble and learn, even if you don't agree with someone else's opinion, the least you could do is listen to know if you can at least understand the person's perspective. But No, we are so temperamental, abusive, we hate anything we don't understand, that's why most of us are so religious, we tend to hide our ignorance in our so called faith. |

Romance › Re: Hausa Couple Take Their Pre-Wedding Photoshoot Aboard A Private Jet by Crixina(f): 10:25am On Feb 28, 2018 |
factwriter: Should feminine beauty rotate around NUDITY and IMMODESTY in the first place
Or what are you connoting with the statement "...even with the bride being covered up"
It's obvious the bride (in the pre shoot) doesn't need to expose her body to make up for any lack since there isn't any anyway. bro, please try to understand statements before you comment. But just in case you honestly misunderstood me, we are on the same page here, the society we live in today is pro nudity, you have to dress in a certain kind of way to be called beautiful and classy. My statement up there meant that the bride is the definition of class and beauty contrary to society's definition of those two words. Comprendez? |
Romance › Re: Hausa Couple Take Their Pre-Wedding Photoshoot Aboard A Private Jet by Crixina(f): 8:19am On Feb 28, 2018 |
I don't fancy the idea of pre-wedding photos, especially when it comes to we Nigerians and our extremities, but photos like these just make you want to change your mind. Dope! Even with the bride being covered up, it still spells class. |

For all those saying "I will never see it" Never say never, Abi how dem dey talk am I swear pass una sef especially with GOT. I guess statements like it's overhyped, it's this or that is always borne out of the fact that one hasn't had time to see it or one is mostly left out of the fun when friends are talking about it and dropping funny insane quotes, so you mostly are feeling bad and convince yourself that it is overhyped.
So i will give you all the advice I got from a friend before I decided to try out GOT. "take some time out, relax, relieve yourself from mental and physical stress, then watch it with an open mind, and possibly, try to watch it with the subtitle in English. |

UrennaNkoli: I'm a movie freak but even at that, there are some popular movies I have never seen before and sometimes, I feel ashamed to tell people lol. Here goes mine.
1. Gladiators
2. Lord of the rings
3. Kingkong
4. Snakes on a plane
5. Once upon a time in china
6. shaolin temple
7. Robocop
8. Tomb Raider (lara)
9. Men in black
10. Mr and Mrs Smith
That should be all. When I have time one of these days, I should download them and watch.
Bonus, I met a movie craze months back while at office. This guy can't be argued or compared with when it comes to movies. The day Black panther hit Nigerian cinemas, we both went but before then, I caught him watching titanic. He was shocked and quickly covered his laptop in shame then we both laughed while I confessed I also watched titanic for the first time 3 yrs ago. This was me with Lion King a few months ago, A friend was like "say what"? |

Op are you also considering other things like the kinds of people you will be meeting, the exposure you will get on the job and other benefits.
The first seems fair, but guy if the second is gonna afford me the chance of working with the likes of Dangote, and I get to go for some needed professional trainings in and out of the country, my guy do the sacrifice at once, with time you will be glad you did.
But if both offer the same, go for the first, but look at other parameters not just money. |

So because of this Lady's post, I went to read the article and I have come to these conclusions 1. This lady did not read even 5 lines of that article 2. She probably wants to trend 3.Paddy Adenuga may have the Adenuga name, but if that article is anything close to the truth, the doggedness and ambitious mind in that article I read is something that cannot be handed down no matter how great a last name you have.
