Hmmm! I feel like ranting. So, there is this guy who has been giving me attention since the beginning of this year. This attention is so glaring to everyone in my department that most of the girls are beefing me. Whenever he sees me in the department, he moves into close proximity to me without talking to me. He stares at me when I'm standing afar. He makes me feel special in the department. Sometimes, when i catch his eyes, he smiles discretely at me. Now, it's november and he's still not saying anything. I don't know what to do because earlier in the year, I didn't have much feeling for him. But now, I feel I have something for him. There is another girl in the department that is obviously trying to get him, but he doesn't give her attention but gives me attention. I am tired. I don't know what to do? I can't ask him out, that's out of it. I wouldn't.

If you've been in this situation before, how did you handle it? Please help me as I'm on the brink of asking him so i don't continue wasting my time?

most good guys or introverts are like that. Aunty set pride aside, this is 21st century. Go close to him, start conversations with him, draw him close and make him your friend. once he is comfortable with you, he will flow. left for me, I will ask that you approach, there is nothing wrong in telling a guy can we be friends.

its not by all these, it might matter but what will be will be. learn to appreciate life and live it as you see it. It might not by how you wants it but it will be OK.

you and some of the teachers complaining are part of the problem, infact the major problem.

1. people learn at different degree, everybody is not a fast learner, its a teacher's role to identity each student level and how to bring out the best in him/her and not comparing
2. I feel you're rushing him too much. dude is just 10years and he is already in jss2. slow down abit pls.
3. The play part is not today, you allowed it, now begin to reduce it if you have his time.
Make it a law, everyday after school, he eats, rest (sleep) and do a compulsory 2 hours reading, it works for me then (maybe 4pm to 6). everyday. gradually with time, he will get use to it. let him copy notes from his colleagues but I will advice you get the teacher to allow him copy directly. why are they too fast, they are rushing them too much and you should complain, are you not paying school fee. please make sure his notes are up to date.
you will need to help him too. do home work with him, check his books, seat with him, ask him one or 2 things and if you can afford it, get him a home lesson teacher.
finally, he need a man figure in his life, friend, uncle, brother, please he need one very well.

finally finally, take things easy with him. gradually things with change with proper monitoring like you're beginning to do now and guidance, he will pickup and fly. please be calming down.

Men cheats on their wives but can't endure being cheated on. My uncle estranged his wife over rumour that she have a secrete lover at her work place without visible evidence and has begun divorce process in the court...it baffles me because this same man has been cheating on his wife openly for so long.

1. not all men cheat.

2. I believe its an orientation thing, a lot of our people have this wrong orientation, I was shocked when an elder bro told me its OK to cheat or marriage another lady because one is a man (this bro did white wedding in church oooo). so some men see it as normal to cheat while ladies are not suppose to cheat. Our culture too is not helping in that regards but thank God for Christianity, true Christians men are getting better.

its not about being divorce though it count but the real question is, can you cope or live with all you have seen and complaining about?
