The character called beaf is a cancer that should be totally destroyed to his last cell. Whether he is the Omakri or not, does not matter. However, that beaf and the description of Reno as in the article is not a surprise. I do not have a lot of time these days or I would personally finish off the vermin like that lunatic Paroh_frey.

No need to rush, you are just 25 only! 2 and 5! What happened to enjoying your single-hood?

You are only doing all these to snag a man and after that what happens? Getting married just so that your friends also see you got "married" is the worst nightmare for the guy and he would hate you for trapping him. However, your story sounds familiar. . .it happens to everyone so yours will no be new. A girl pulled this off some years ago and I met her at a friend's wedding and guess what? When ladies were asked to come and catch the bouquet, her friend stood-up and tried to pull her up but she refused. . .LOL. Well, we chatted later and I already met her friend somewhere else, then she was asking me some very funny questions. Well, your guess is as good as mine: now she is 31+, fat (I mean FAT) with a big stomach, looking shorter and still searching. The advise to you is you need to change your attitude and hope because it is easier to get a fuckmate (since you only need guys for sex), much less a real BF and then a real husband!!! If you change only to get the guy, well he will divorce you later when he finds that he's been conned and request a refund of the wedding expenses, cost of the time spent chasing the fake you, and bride price, if he paid any.
Politics › Re: Obj Vs Ibb: You’re An Ingrate, Fani- Kayode Tells Obasanjo by CyberG: 1:23am On Aug 22, 2011
I have no nice words or feelings for all these thieves. However, this leech Fani should know that neither of these guys he is meddling with have any qualms using him to mop the floor! Certainly, you are no better but must you go to run your mouth against people who can disappear you permanently if you upset them just enough?

You have your reasons to be scared about your girl. But why bring Benue girls into this? If its not calabar, its igbo, or so on and so forth. There is no where you will go that you wont find promiscious girls. If you are totally concerned about easy access to your girl, leave her and let her be. Dont spoil our name here please,
LOL @ dental floss stick. You said "spoil our name". . .are you from Benue?

@ Topic, well that you hear things does not mean every one fits into that exactly. I heard lots of stories when I lived in Abuja and I used to know at least one "notorious" girl. The other one only told me things that happened in the past but was pretty much like every other chic you would find anywhere.

LOL. . .this clueless and planless man continues to make empty noise. Same promise about uninterrupted power! Pray, HOW WILL YOU ACHIEVE this objective? Someone who has no track record of achievements promised to turn the sky into fertile ground, but HOW??
Politics › Re: GEJ's Goal: Uninterrupted Power Supply In His Tenure by CyberG: 3:44am On Aug 18, 2011
LOL. . .bullshaite! Just giving something to gullible Nigerians to keep them busy! But NOTHING will come of this planless man who is only relying on luck to bring uninterrupted power to Nigeria.
Programming › Re: Programmers: What Project(s) Are You Working On Now? by CyberG: 1:08am On Aug 18, 2011
texazzpete:
Precisely why many Nigerian programmers remain dirt poor. Any realist would tell you that this will NOT sell well. Have you any idea how expensive console devkits are? Or the massive amount of time you'd have to spend coding, designing etc and then extensive bug testing to obtain certification for release on consoles. You'll definitely have your work cut out with Nintendo grin

Then target market comes into play. It seems like a good idea now but you'll find that less than 500 Nigerians will be willing to pay full price for your game. Rampant piracy will cripple you too. Then you'd be left with lacklustre sales and staff salary backlogs.

Realistic targets and plans should be your watchword!
Your last statement is the only thing useful in your post but then, my comment had nothing to do with targets or plans. Now to the others: you apparently did not get the train of the discussion otherwise you wouldn't be jumping to wrong conclusions:

1. I am NOT a programmer. Not Nigerian programmer. Not poor.

2. Point to any research or finding that leads to the conclusion that this idea will not sell well.

3. Expensive console devkit? Well, I don't know where you live or what you do but I have them right here already -- e.g. the latest dev-kit for everything MS.

4. Nothing wrong with spending time creating a product as you would agree that anything worth while would require time, yes? Even to build a house before, even a bungalow, it could take 6 months or more and that is just something that has been done over and over. So, time and effort to create a product like this should not be a reason to not do it.

5. Games will not be meant for just "Nigerians". How many games for XBOX, PS3 and similar consoles have you successfully pirated? Again, this would not be a reason not to proceed with an idea should anyone wish to actually pursue it.

Programming › Re: Programmers: What Project(s) Are You Working On Now? by CyberG: 12:54am On Aug 17, 2011
Yes.
Indeed, it is complex and electron interactions in the materials are very complex indeed so code can only be written after extensive experimentation and even more involved processing.

Naija-themed adventure/action game with a lot of rich graphics and movement would be a real hit for XBOX, PS3, Wii for sure. I would invest time and efforts in such a venture.
Programming › Re: Programmers: What Project(s) Are You Working On Now? by CyberG: 12:44am On Aug 17, 2011
engineerd:
why can't some of you guys work on developing a Nigerian game for Nintendo or sony. As in a fighting game where fighters speak local languages and fight Naija action style, like action moves that are totally Nigerian,  Just a thought.
This is one of the ideas I had thought about as far back as 2007 and I think it would be a big hit! Once the first one is done, it is pretty easy to re-create different games with similar scenes, will earn lots of money and lots of positive visibility for Nigeria. With the Kinect, people can practically have a feel for some flavour of "Oshodi Market" or wherever which I can guess would be really interesting to lots of non-Nigerians/Africans!

Well, I have big interests in software engineering and my last contribution to a project was an electron beam simulator (this sort of work is done in groups with everyone having a different specialty). This is the kind of tool that high tech and semiconductor corporations or researchers would need to fabricate chips for your favorite toys: phones, tv, ipad and the most advanced military systems and technology. By next month, I will be going back to this project to develop the next version of the software.

If I lived in Nigeria, I would like to have all you guys over for "Naijahackathons" - hackathons with Naija flavour and by the morning of the next day, the next revolutionary apps would be ready for the world's biggest marketplaces - Apple, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Intel, etc!!

Politics › Re: An Inept Leadership by CyberG: 3:08am On Aug 12, 2011
Long write-up with some good points. However, YOU and MANY Nigerians got us into this mess everyone is gonna spend time and bandwidth discussing. It does not take even a DEAD MAN to know that GEJ is all BS - He has ZERO record of achievement. You lived in Philly, is that the kind of record any leader presents to get voted to lead? How come you think this GEJ fresh air would be different? Imagine all the waste of time, energy and resources to put your own house (imagine a skyscraper) on fire and afterwards, you need 10X all those resources to put out the fire? Well, that is what has happened here only this is an entire country, burning and there's no putting this fire out very easily. That country is simply on a journey to NOWHERE!

Well, since Nigerians love their FRESH AIR, let them all enjoy it and in 2015, defend his failure and give him another chance!
Politics › Re: Why Is The Ogun State Government Taking Over Private Schools? by CyberG: 7:06am On Aug 11, 2011
How useless can government get? Why take over the schools? Why take over Mayflower? The Solarins built that school a long, long time ago and why take them over now? Has this clueless government attended to the pressing issues of the state before looking to take over someone's property, sweat and investment without any prior consultation with the owner?
Politics › Re: Fayemiwo - "ibb Killed Abiola, Abacha, Idiagbon, Ige" by CyberG: 5:37am On Aug 11, 2011
OMG, how can everything be so complicated like this? If anyone knows anything to the contrary, it would be good to know because this guy makes a lot of stories that are well connected. Some of the things he said are already publicly known or speculated but where do Nigerians want to take their life for goodness sake? How can the destiny of 160M+ people be up for grabs and the "people" just fight and argue over their tribes, who is better, more educated, etc, why your entire existence has been stolen into the future?

The south of Nigeria needs to break from the north to make any progress but who is the leader that has the balls to initiate it? Who is the leader that will have his name written in gold for eternity because he did the right thing for this over-punished land called Nigeria? Nigeria may be "good" to some people but for people who have lived somewhere else and can see from inside into Nigeria, that place has been over-exploited! When will the people of the south who have managed in spite of all these uselessness to be something join together in purpose and be free!? Clearly GLJ is nothing to them and they will get rid of him in the twinkling of an eye and then, history repeats itself all over again! I hope southern Nigerians (and like minded peoples of the middle belt) can see they will never be anything as long as they are pawns in the hands of this accursed "owners" of Nigeria!
Politics › Re: The Nigeria Of Sir Ahmadu Bello's Dreams by CyberG: 8:43pm On Aug 10, 2011
Nigeria has definitely not moved on and is CLEARLY not moving at all. While Nigeria is better off as one, with the present circumstances, it better be broken so that the north with the mindset of "Nigeria as their estate" can have their own land and leave other people's land alone. If Nigeria had a separate country in the south, it would be one of the most prosperous and advanced economies with good leaders and managers. Divide it into regions with a weak center and let the states therein compete. It wouldn't be long before the northern Nigeria and people from other countries begin to come and apply for residence permit and citizenship.

Politics › Re: 50 Crushed To Death On Abuja-okene Highway by CyberG: 4:26am On Aug 03, 2011
I remember the last time something exactly happened and the gory pictures! What a waste! People from the East, West, North and elsewhere are dead and affected because the people have refused to hold their leaders accountable but fight on their race, tribe, quota system and who should take over another part of the country! Too bad, this might not be the last because people have been blinded by corruption and tribalism rather than focus on demanding accountability from leaders at every level.

No, it is not. I think NL thinks it a better business strategy to keep ethnic and tribalistic fights alive and active to continually drive traffic to the site. . .therefore increasing rankings, visibility and income.
