In U.K the government continues to pay salaries of all workers up to 80% each month.

Gives business owners up to £2800 each month.

Makes provision for people to suspend rent payment for 3months.

Gives money to the unemployed.

Gives £60k to families with f any doctor who dies in the course of treating patients with Covid and so much more.

Please why will people not enjoy lock down?

In naija hunger is killing people and you want them to remain indoors... Abeg think nah.

heheheheh, una dey open banks, other institutions will soon follow suit, has the virus gone on sabbatical leave?? or it has excluded banks from its list of possible places it can infect people?

They are easing lock down simply because of the ineptitude thereby willing to sacrifice the citizens.

Call me a prophet of doom if you like but all I see is a failed government willing to watch many die cos lives don't matter to them.

I pray for a miracle so this infection won't escalate.

If we were counting 1000 dead bodies in one day in Nigeria nobody will tell Nigerians to run inside their homes and face the hunger instead.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing and there is no telling what would be if the Government did not lock down at all.
Maybe Lagos would be 5000 infections and 500 deaths already.

Despite the hunger, nobody could sincerely say that the lock down did not curtail this thing to a large extent.


Yes Nigeria is not other countries and will not be other countires overnight.

We just need to have a reflection and succumb to the fact that Nigeria is a zoo and has been so for the last 50 years.

Even ordinary fire emergency Nigeria has never been able to tackle, talkless of corona.

The sanctions imposed on them by America is really affecting them, there's no way they can possibly survive indoors

I know some people will say that it's a wrong decision, no problem just wait for a strong recession to hit Nigeria and watch how Buhari will open the country ASAP not minding any Covid 19
