What OBJ is in SW is what Atiku is in the North.

No matter the credits OBJ has, SW people will never vote him massively.

Atiku too, do the election 10 times, the North will not massively vote for him.

I cant explain it, but that is reality. They are not very accepted among their own.

Atiku lost because he had an igbo deputy simple! This people hates the igbos so much and I just don't know why. I mean see saraki. When he was in APC and supporting buhari how many times did he go to kwara and have people screaming "ole" at him? He wasn't this hated then, but immediately he used "mago-mago" and become senate president and made an igbo man his deputy then switched to PDP, they turned their backs on him. Also, look at dogara his partner in crime, people keep saying saraki is a thief bla bla bla....dogara is also a thief but he didn't have an igbo deputy and boom he was re-elected!

This is not nice. I am Yoruba and Yorubas dont think this way. Atiku won Ondo and Oyo, by the way irrespective of where he picked his vice from. Atiku lost because Atiku was not voted for by the north. It is not today. It is like OBJ's votes in the south.....he hardly ever secured any large votes there.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God should come out now and denounce Prof. Osibanjo for being part of the virus trying to destroy our democracy. Osibanjo is a pastor, lawyer and a professor who has thrown away integrity just to satisfy Buhari's selfish ambition to retain power.

Incases Like this in developed countries the Church will take a stand to send a strong warning to a stubborn tyrant and give hope to its faithful especially those who took time to come out and vote.

The Church is the voice of the people. RCCG must not look the other way round while their pastor is No.2 man in the country and very much in the loop of all nefarious plans being carried out against the will of the masses.

You should produce some facts on what he has done wrong. Facts, not assumptions.

OBJ said that the tradermoni was idiotic and some people bought that. For long, finance organisations have been talking about building the economy from the base. What is the wrong in lending to people that will never be accepted by the commercial banks? All the funds loaned out to those traders is not up to one-tenth of what some civil servants pocket for themselves and their girlfriends.

Anyway, I hold briefs for no one. But why bring a church into this argument? A church will not and should not act on what is written in social media. They need facts. Whoever has the facts should write to them.

Lesson 13

Some people kept complaining that the economy has never been so bad. They do not read. Fitch rated Nigeria's economy as the best performing economy in Africa in 2018. The speculation economy is dying while the real economy is growing from the base. We forget that Nigeria is now producing what we hitherto imported in large quantities. Tiles, Rice, even cars by Innoson and patronized by the Military! The urban boys dont like that. They prefer carrying briefcases around looking for oil contracts to inflate and re-sell!

Lesson 14

Election in many places is not always about who you vote for but who you vote against! That is how come Trump will be president again if they vote in America today. Atiku could not win the northern vote even if he contests against an acceptable southerner. People have cultures and values, whether you accept it or not. Northerners will accept someone they perceive as honest but slow long before they consider someone they consider not to be trust-worthy. That perception about Atiku may be wrong, but the problem is that it is still a perception. This is why they voted against PDP massively. PDP lost the day they concluded their primaries! Period. Sadly, many people in the South still think that northerners are a bunch of uneducated people. Live among them and learn. Some of the most honest people in Nigeria live in that region. Give them 5000 naira to keep and come back in 5 years, and find that you still have exactly the same notes you left. Well, this is not to generalise, but it largely applies.

Lesson 15

People you consider as assets may end up being your liabilities. The media men of Jonathan (dont let me mention names again) did him damage by always barking at people, and by shutting down the other opinion. They thought that if you barked the most for your boss you will end with better mileage. Wrong. Who were the chief spokesmen for Atiku? They were the same people who spewed out abuses, lies and falsehood. They were most uncouth in their tweets. They doctored videos, manufactured false prophecies, barked the loudest, and showed little respect for decorum. Their bosses thought they were assets but they would have learnt now that the people they counted as friends were enemies when it comes to elections!

Lesson 16

In winning the battle, dont lose the war! The Kwara chief won many battles, but may not have realized that he was warring against the people. I wonder why he never apologized for calling his senior a 'mere commissioner'. In Yoruba culture, they still cherish the 'omoluabi'. At least he should have shown loudly that he did not say so. Perhaps the problem started from there.


Lesson 17

Dont loose your breath over elections or over politicians. PDP candidate has been in ACN, AD, APC and PDP. Who knows what he will do as he re-strategizes? Especially now that he knows PMB cannot contest again! OBJ's son is chanting hurray now while his father is licking wounds! Expect the unexpected, as they start to move around again in preparation for the next election.

By and large, Nigerians need to learn to practice politics without bitterness.

A lot of social media people in the south were living in delusion. OBJ who spearheaded the atiku drive could not even deliver his polling unit to him. Or did they rig there as well?

Kwakwanso never really went out of his way to campaign for Atiku.

Kwankwasiya was aimed at enthroning the PDP person as governor in place of Ganduje.

That was what the crowd was all about.

I dont know how someone managed to deceive Atiku that they were there for him.

The PDP man has been speaking a lot. Yesterday he had said they should declare his candidate the winner, even before collation started. He should tell the nation the correct results if what INEC announced was wrong.

Some people don chop atiku money sha, so they have to pretend to be seriously protesting!

The story of 5 boys in a secondary school in some remote northern part of a nation. Having realized they are a minority in this large nation called WAZOBIA, they knew they had to use their brains if they would go any far in the land.

So, the first one opted to join the Police. His game plan would be to manouver to the top with the help of friends. It occured to him that the plan would not be easy unless one of his friends would join the Army. Quickly, the second man, the very brave among them opts for the military. He would use force to seize power and would distribute the juicy positions to his other four friends, including the fellow in the Police.

Two slots taken, three to go. The smart third will be sent to the South. He is not really intelligent and cannot compete in southern schools, but he is very street-smart. From day 1, he starts to trade in forex..finds his way to a bank and continues to do deals. He cornered enough money to but shares in an oil company. His cunning art continues to pay off for him as he used his proceeds from his shady deals to eventually buy dominant shares in a regional bank.

The fourth man joined the Customs. His duty was to mercilessly tax everyone that comes through and turn himself to a mini-bank. He is quite wayward, and apart from his dirty exploits on his official desk, he would not spare anyone dressed in skirts as he targets them for dirty escapades. At some point he could boast that his escapade had cornered him pink dressed species from virtually every tribe in the land.

The fifth one, known to be lazy, was sent to the Public sector. Though lazy, he quickly rose through the ranks at the Tax Office!

Funny combination you would say - Military, Police, Customs, Tax Office and Bank! Years passed and they sat again. This time they had discovered that their fellow citizens in WAZOBIA liked noise but were ever lacking in bite! So, five boys who barely managed to high school exams found a cunning way to forever rule their fellow nationals.

How would five boys rule a nation? Simple. Always promise them carrots! Not a carrot they have grown but the same carrot they stole from their fellows! Secondly, use the snatched carrot to ever divide them. At any time they needed to elect leaders they would throw a few carrots out and watch as the gullible citizens queue to hurt themselves. The fight is always about who should lead - the man from Customs or the one from the Tax office!

And so, it continued that the five boys held sway, ruled over their fellows. They threw a few carrots out from time to time, as they sipped wine. It worked, even to the extent of these fellows killing themselves over what was snatched away from them in the first place.

Simple trick. Gullible people. At day time they called it democracy but as soon as they got into their nocturnal meeting of the 5 boys everything looked more like lootocracy!
