If he contests against one of his statutes I think even the statute will defeat him! Comedian! |
In other climes, someone has built an electric ship, the game changer in shipping...... https://electrek.co/2018/01/12/large-tesla-ships-all-electric-barges/ |
Those cases look like security boxes. It does not look like they are deliberately concealing anything. It is very wrong, barbaric and archaic to show people's faces like this. It is like pronouncing them guilty before they are judged. What if they are innocent? Would they get apologies for the defamation? Let us grow up as a country. |
Cool. |
I guess you should blame the state for that. Osinbajo has been seen in open market places in Lagos, Ilorin, and several other places, where he mingled freely with the people. So, ask Delta why theirs is different! |
troubleboi:Unfortunately the new breeds have failed to organize themselves to take power. Rather than form a solid consortium they think they can go it alone. Then they went for a VP debate they were not prepared for. Sorry, right now it seems only two parties are in contention. |
I may not be a fan of PMB but he has achieved in 3 years what PDP failed to ouch in 16 years of failure. OBJ should be ashamed that in 8 years not a single road or rail line was commissioned in Lagos area. Now the road to the airport in Lagos is near completion. Rail and road from Lagos is in progress. In 3 years. Despite not having HALF of the income PDP enjoyed, these guys have done thrice in 3 years what PDP failed to do in 16 years. I still cannot say I will vote APC but PDP is not an option. They want to come and sell the rest of Nigeria to their cronies and GFs. I heard they repented for their past sins, but they should also return the loot, then we can take them serious. |
One of the candidates has a ranch where his cows are kept and managed and he often goes here to see his cows. The other candidates has a lot of cows that are managed on his behalf by herdsmen. So, who is arming and equipping the herdsmen? Common Sense 101! |
desiredhome:Perhaps. Nigerians should wise up. The sponsors of the killings are pretending now to be our friends. |
NASSistic set of people. |
With the inventory from the shop? |
TheAngry1:Also, when is he going to return the NITEL 'bonus'? At least, to show he wants to fight corruption he should start by refunding the proceeds of past misdeeds when he was VP! In their country, a hungry schoolboy steals bread so he can eat and not die, he confesses, and still the people lynched him. Another man helped himself with millions of dollars, he confesses, and they want to now vote him to lead them! What a country? Should the people not reject Butiku and vote out APDPC? |
Ugo of Lagos.......! |

What was a bit irritating about him was his intellectual arrogance. He kept talking about 'your country' and hardly said 'our country'! He had no pen, paper or tablet. he never took notes. HR 101 - Dont hire anyone who does not take notes and who assumes he has all facts in his head. Now, he has fooled himself by rolling out fake figures. Before now, people have alluded that some of the things he was saying on The Platform were lies, such as owning only 1 wrist watch. |
There are only 2 serious parties in Nigeria. The debate has shown that. ANN is a total joke. The lady did not convince at all. She showed how shallow some of our graduates are! I am sure she has her own good part and may mean well, but she will find it difficult to communicate at high levels if she is elected. YPP tried a bit. She however showed absence of drive and energy. I thought of voting Ezekwesili until this evening. Her vice had little to offer. He sounded quite shallow and unconvincing. Osinbajo was nervous a bit at the start. Yes, it is always difficult as an incumbent. But he later picked up and showed why some people regard him as the best VP Nigeria has ever had. PDP is trying hard to taint his record but they have failed. Obi rolled out a lot of figures without looking at any paper. That is always good if your figures are right. But it shows intellectual arrogance if they are not. One great genuis once said that you dont need to cram what you can always refer to. It turns out that a few of the figures he rolled out are not true. If I scored Obi 8 out of 10 before the debate, the score has suddenly gone down to 5. He may have performed as a governor (some of his people say NO to this) but he probably should carry his argument to the Parliament. PDP will use him and dump him within 3 months. They dont have time for his grammar. At the end of the day let everyone choose what is best for them and may God save Nigeria. |
PDP is not ready. They will use Obi and dump him. Their main interest is to continue massive looting. They want to free the gangs! |
Binikingdowm:Debates are tough for every incumbent because you are the one to attack. Every one else there is just talking cheap theory! Obi is experienced but showing some degree of stand-aloof-ness and intellectual arrogance. He will fall out with Atiku in 3 months, I bet! People just underestimate the Fulanis and their clamour for power and control. |
Boy, you can never tell! Never say never! |
How does this make sense? We have had several elections with the current law and the country has not disintegrated. Why change the winning team? We should be wary of those who are shouting sign, sign, because the changes may actually lead to fire. Politicians on both sides are self-centred and selfish. I would rather ask that we use the same rule we used in 2015! |
drr |
Football was much easier in Pele's days! The old man should stop making this kind of comparison and let the fans judge. To me, Messi is a lot better than Pele. The kind of passes, goals and assists you see fro Messi has not been seen with any other player. |
What a joke they have turned our National Assembly to? Summon the ambassador of a foreign country? What a joke? Of course, he wont come. Nonsense. |
FarahAideed:Sad that a whole National Assembly can be turned into an agbero/area boys club. We are pointing at the Executive for a bad job but the Senate has been terrible. Nigerians should make demands from this arm of government. We still behave like we are in a military regime and we always forget that in a democracy you have 3 arms and it takes the 3 arms working well for any progress to take place. |
He cant win it forever. At any rate, just as Trump said, the system is rigged! |
Nigerians should send Butiku of APDPC on permanent retirement! Two sides of the same coin. |
Reason why it is difficult to crush BH. These guys are victims yet they wont hold their rulers accountable. Lack of education is now a threat to democracy. A professor has one vote just like an almajiri. That should mean equity but it no longer stands for fairness. Its not to look down on anybody. It is just to say that if our leaders will give them good education they will likely behave differently, but the leaders knowing that would more likely deny them that education. |
The problem with Nigerians is that they have too much faith in old politicians - We dont learn! |
They cant tell us who is funding BH. How are they able to get those kind of ammunitions? Until the sponsors are identified we may just be wasting time. Their command centre is definitely not in the bush but in some cities somewhere. Or how else will you be able to explain that 4 presidents have not been able to decode the power behind BH. Or maybe they know but dont want to tell. Yet, the people are clamouring to the same old rulers, re-cycled rulers, who are only offering fine-tuned status quo. |
Butiku as two faced candidate of APDPC! Shine your eyes. |
allthingsgood:It is unfortunate that Nigeria now has a candidate that tells lies with virtually every statement he makes....even his so called policy document is full of empty lies. he calls it a plan (not a promise) yet some gullible people are routing for him. The lie they concocted against the VP is so childish and so unfortunate. The house asked for an investigation against an alleged unapproved disbursement that was meant to cater for displaced people but the gang called it 'stealing' and their army of people being deceived quickly jumped on it to re-echo the lies. |
Number 16 - We depend on natural light in most of our town and cities whereas America depends on electricity that is not natural! Number 17 - You only need school certificate to become a Senator or a President in Nigeria while in America you must have had a degree. number 18- In Nigeria, if you become so pressed while walking on the road you can just find a good location by the road side to discharge the waste in a natural way, while in America you must look for a toilet. |
