About 2000 police officers were to be trained to fight Bokoharam, but about 160 of them who are mostly Christians show cowardice and run away. What if 99 or 100% of those receiving training now are Muslims?
FFK has started what they did in 2015 that made their party failed and later he will be claiming that Buhari is dividing Nigeria.

Nigeria and Nigerians need prayers.

One presidential candidate is said to be slow and lacking in ideas but he is giving looters a tough time.

The other presidential candidate is said to have some ideas but some people point to his past misdeeds and want to conclude that he cant be trusted.

There are several other candidates who grossly lack political base. Some of them do not even have candidates in many positions.

What kind of thing is this? We have PVC but we are not sure who to use it for!

May be the one alleged to have participated in looting can earn some trust by declaring his past loots and returning some of them!

Or maybe the one that is said to be slow can pick up some action and also announce some fresh ideas (like re-structuring!).

People, instead of screaming and abusing yourselves over B or A, why dont you ponder and pray, may be there is a C or an M we should be voting for?

This great country deserves better.

Actually, when you read the comments on social media, you will realize that our politicians are quite smart. They know so well that they have little or nothing to offer (they just seem to like power for the sake of it!), so they play on the gullibility of the people, by promising them what they possibly cannot deliver. One says I will reduce the price of fuel to N45, yet the people cannot ask - How? The other says, I will restructure, and the people wont bother to ask - How and into what?

Unfortunately the new breeds have failed to organize themselves to take power. Rather than form a solid consortium they think they can go it alone. Then they went for a VP debate they were not prepared for. Sorry, right now it seems only two parties are in contention.

I may not be a fan of PMB but he has achieved in 3 years what PDP failed to ouch in 16 years of failure.

OBJ should be ashamed that in 8 years not a single road or rail line was commissioned in Lagos area. Now the road to the airport in Lagos is near completion. Rail and road from Lagos is in progress. In 3 years.

Despite not having HALF of the income PDP enjoyed, these guys have done thrice in 3 years what PDP failed to do in 16 years.

I still cannot say I will vote APC but PDP is not an option. They want to come and sell the rest of Nigeria to their cronies and GFs. I heard they repented for their past sins, but they should also return the loot, then we can take them serious.

One of the candidates has a ranch where his cows are kept and managed and he often goes here to see his cows. The other candidates has a lot of cows that are managed on his behalf by herdsmen. So, who is arming and equipping the herdsmen? Common Sense 101!

What was a bit irritating about him was his intellectual arrogance.

He kept talking about 'your country' and hardly said 'our country'!

He had no pen, paper or tablet. he never took notes.

HR 101 - Dont hire anyone who does not take notes and who assumes he has all facts in his head.

Now, he has fooled himself by rolling out fake figures.

Before now, people have alluded that some of the things he was saying on The Platform were lies, such as owning only 1 wrist watch.

There are only 2 serious parties in Nigeria. The debate has shown that.

ANN is a total joke. The lady did not convince at all. She showed how shallow some of our graduates are! I am sure she has her own good part and may mean well, but she will find it difficult to communicate at high levels if she is elected.

YPP tried a bit. She however showed absence of drive and energy.

I thought of voting Ezekwesili until this evening. Her vice had little to offer. He sounded quite shallow and unconvincing.

Osinbajo was nervous a bit at the start. Yes, it is always difficult as an incumbent. But he later picked up and showed why some people regard him as the best VP Nigeria has ever had. PDP is trying hard to taint his record but they have failed.

Obi rolled out a lot of figures without looking at any paper. That is always good if your figures are right. But it shows intellectual arrogance if they are not. One great genuis once said that you dont need to cram what you can always refer to. It turns out that a few of the figures he rolled out are not true. If I scored Obi 8 out of 10 before the debate, the score has suddenly gone down to 5. He may have performed as a governor (some of his people say NO to this) but he probably should carry his argument to the Parliament. PDP will use him and dump him within 3 months. They dont have time for his grammar.

At the end of the day let everyone choose what is best for them and may God save Nigeria.

PDP is not ready. They will use Obi and dump him. Their main interest is to continue massive looting. They want to free the gangs!

Debates are tough for every incumbent because you are the one to attack. Every one else there is just talking cheap theory!
Obi is experienced but showing some degree of stand-aloof-ness and intellectual arrogance. He will fall out with Atiku in 3 months, I bet! People just underestimate the Fulanis and their clamour for power and control.
