My wish is that he will govern Nigeria well and better that its governed today. I wish he will wipe out corruption which has grossly bedeviled Nigeria. I also wish him long life, health and peace. I pray that he comes to a true knowledge of salvation in Christ Jesus.

The Presidency and the State Intelligence should get to work on this matter, otherwise the populace will believe the rumours. It is like the entire machinery of state is in coma and they only wake up when they need to attack Rotimi Amaechi and Sule Lamido!

Career › Re: List of Companies That Promote Staff Welfare And Treat Them Well by Dee60: 9:13am On Nov 19, 2013
Dana Staff: Guys, please allow me apologise in advance because when I'm done talking about my company and how they treat staff, it most definitely will leave a sour taste in your earlier excited taste buds...
I work for Dana Airlines and as we speak, it is the least paid local Airline in Nigeria despite and the most staff insensitive too.

First, there is no such thing as Medicare in Dana Airlines! You are absolutely on your own if you or any of your dependants take ill. As if that is not enough, they deduct medicals from your take home and claim to pay it back at the end of the year (and call it 13th month )...the "13th month" of 2012 is yet to be paid in November, 2013.

Since January 2013, Dana Airlines hasn't paid salaries as at when due. They pay salaries of the previous month by the 21st of a new month...imagine putting the lives of unsuspecting Nigerians in the hands of hungry staff, just anything can happen.

Pensions and taxes haven't been remitted on behalf of any staff since April, 2012 yet deductions are still being made from staff salaries that come 3weeks late.

Now, after staff stood by management throughout the crash/crisis period, they stopped salaries since August and verbally put staff on what they call leave without pay (LWOP) which completely negates the terms and conditions of service as contained in staff offer letter and staff hand book.

Trainings are never done. If any is organised in house, original certificates are retained by HR and only photocopies are handed over to course participants.

We do business in aviation but our family members, even wives and children, cannot travel FOC! As a staff, you are only entitled to one free ticket when one is on annual leave and you annual leave is unpaid, but the reverse is what's written in the offer letter.

In a nutshell, going by the ratings of this conversation, I can authoritatively state that Dana Airlines is one of the most unhealthy place to work because they treat Nigerian staff like slaves in their own country.

Don't get it twisted, they make a lot of money! In the last quarter, Dana made well over a billion naira, yet they are owing staff September and October Salary without any plans to pay. As the Managing Director, Jacky Hathiramani, and his many Indian minions will say, Nigerians will be severely punished for what their Government is doing to us by grounding our operations.
The Indians pay themselves and deny Nigerian staff, that has put in his sweat and blood to serve...the joy of collecting his wages...Nigerians save our soulllll
Similar to several Indian companies but there must be some exceptions.

It all amounts to impunity!

Like our president - They do not really give a damn! If you like you may complain till tomorrow. Their answer remains: I dont give a damn!
Politics › Re: LASTMA Official Caught On Tape Collecting Bribe by Dee60: 7:46pm On Nov 15, 2013
BlackBaron: The problem here is that the ogas that would sack them are even greater thieves.

Farouk with his cap-full of Dollar$ still walks free. Oduah's BMW-gate is slowly being pushed under the carpet.

Many more cases abound.
A rigid anti corruption stance against any ant or every elephant bar none would do more good, than this new trend of 'eye service' dismissals of only erring low tier officials.
They dismiss them without prosecution so they can graduate to armed robbery and kidnapping! The country stinks! May God save us.
Politics › Re: Yahoo Posts Offensive Article On Nigeria!!!!! by Dee60: 11:12am On Nov 15, 2013
Our 'oga at the top' does not give a damn!

The rot continues, and that right from the top! Once the head of the fish is stinking and rotten, it spreads quickly through the body!

Tell our friends in Aviation and in the Senate - the world, the whole world is looking at them!

Thank you Mr Gulak. Africa is tired of sit tight. Something is seriously not working, otherwise why would people not be satisfied with 4 years? In this case, in fact 6 years!

What is inside that rock that is pulling them?

Why do governors travel with long convoys? Why has Nigeria remained so lawless and backward?

And I must commend people like Fashola on this. He drives in normal traffic (never taking BRT lane) and there are just a few cars around him. You wont find them speeding like mad!

Some of these other governors do not do that. Their states are backward and yet they spend so much on cars and jets.

Some ministers too! Imagine how long it is taking the President to sanction Aviation chiefs for the armoured CARS scandal!

The waste goes on. The politicians need to take a count on how many people have been injured and killed by their convoys in the last 10 years. They are killing the same people who voted them in the name of security! What security?

Enough of impunity and insanity in our system.

atlwireles: The rush to judgement crowd, should always learn to allow due process, when dealing with issues like this. Stella did nothing wrong and the attempt to chase her from office has completely failed.
Indeed! Na true you talk! In fact there is nothing wrong if a government office buys a bottle of Coca Cola for N5000! Nothing wrong as long as it was bought! Well done.
Our boys are not over-aged if they passed the MRI test.

What many people failed to consider is the fact that when FIFA started competitions in the age group and they were considering age caps, they only considered the development of a European 17yrs, 20yrs and 23yrs olds. People in other continents especially Africa develop at different pace compared to the Europeans. It might take an African boy 20 -25 years to attain the same level of development as a European 17 years old. Take poultry birds as case study, can you compare broilers with the West African specie of chickens? Do they develop at the same pace even if you feed them on the same diet? If no, then think genetic factors!

This argument has been made several times to explain why many true 17yrs old African cannot compete with 17yrs old Europeans. FIFA later recognized this and resorted to using the MRI to gauge what human growth and development would be an equivalent of a European 17yrs old in other continents which to me is a fair comparison because of genetic factors that impact growth. So it is no longer about the true biological age of the players, it is about comparable state of growth and development.

I hope this clears the air.
Some government people wanted to clear the air and they neatly explained why Nigeria should buy a BMW car for 800,000 dollars while in Europe you may not pay more than 80,000 dollars for the same car!
