Thanx dilluminati. Am very expectant. I would have given you my e mail to send materials to me on mysticm but I would havew given myself away. However, I wold like to know the downside to mysticm before dabbling into it cos better to know the contra indications of a medication before you take it.

I beg to disagree with you on the notion that if church tells people to train indegent students people will sit back and say some rich folks in church would sponsor my kid. Govt provides free education at certain levels in this country, how come you and I would rather send our children to private schools even if we have to pay through our nostrils. Nobody would leave his responsibility of raising his wards to someone else except 1) that person cannot afford it or 2) That person has lost all his sense of dignity.
My point is rather than churches harping strongly on 'sowing into the ministry', they should rather stress helping the needy as a sure way to God's heart. I know how church members fall over themselves just to give to the 'set man' but would shrug their shoulder should anyone ask for financial assistance from them. I was a bible believing born again christian but as we speak I have recant that stand. Am now an agnost but one thing I took from being a christian is the fact that when you give to the poor, you lend to God. Pastors don't preach on this too often in their teachings on giving, rather they will harp strongly on tithe, offerings and first fruits as if these are the only ways to give. Even Jesus said those who help the poor would be allowed to enter heaven. As for me no MOG will get a dime from my money again.

True members were not compelled to contribute, but tell us was there any benefit, be it physical or spiritual, promised to all contributors/covenant partners. If yes, who wouldnt want to be blessed with plenty money just by giving N50k or N100? But is that not the same things swindlers tell their victims? Am not saying Adeboye is a swindler but what am saying is that if people are promised reward for simple altruistic acts or contribution or ordinary giving people will go out of their way to give. Its simple psychology! My only problem is that Church leaders had use the method to benefit the outside world because am looking at a situation where Adeboye tells his congragation that anyone who trains an indigent child through school would be blessed by God, you can imagine how many street hawkers would be off our streets!

The guy just wants to boost his own ego. He wants to confirm to himself that he is knowledgeable. Or dont you notice how he runs to google, downloads information without thinking it through and comes here to spew the rubbish obviously oblivious of the fact that scientific assertions, unlike religion, stands to be corrected when new discoveries are made. He discounts evolution because he, like his religious appologists, do not understand the concept thus the process is completely unimaginable to them. Trying to explain such things to people like to explain the concept of escape velocity to a man who lived all his life in manbila or a piraha. He just cannot grasp the concept. But come to think of it, even the piraha people, as primitive as they are do not believe in the God concept. They live their lives one day at a time.

The truth is FX knows the bible very well, the only problem is just that like his mentors- Oyedepo, Oyakilome, Adeboye etc- They only pick what suits them in a particular situation and discount any other dissenting statement. For example they will give the example of the widow who gave her food to a prophet and as a result she never went hungry again, or quote malachi 3:10 and the story of Abraham and Melchizedek king of Salem whenever they want to justify why they should rip off the congregation but the instance you tell them to prove the potency of the power of their God through an open contest like what was done on mt. carmel, they tell you we are not in the old testament. These people weary me out with their deceit and double standards.

The guy had been watching Natgeo and he feels he is armed with enough space knowledge to prove the existence of his God. He has lots of information no doubt, but knowledge, ? the guy falls short. He keeps on priding himself and feeling so cool in the fact that he knows so much about space science as if it is not readily available on the internet. I have been interested in space since age 11 when my dad bought me a pair of binoculars to view the night sky, that is more than 20 yrs ago. But then what will be the point of trying to impress fellow internet bloggers of my knowledge and interest in space. He is an empty barrel and that is why he is making so much noise.

Does this make sense at all. So people just believe virus exist and also belive they cause diseases. How dumb and uninformed. Viruses are quite small agreed but then they can be seen through the use of electron microscope. Elementary biology should teach you this.

In Gen 1:3-end which describes the creation story on several instance  said 'And it was evening and morning' in fact verse 13 begins with this phrase. Does it take 1000 years for there to be evening and morning? Several literatures hold on to the normal 24hr creation days but even if we pause and accept your 1000yr creation day, then Adam arrived 5000yr after God started creation, it is still way out of sync with what we currently know. But wait, we still have not addressed the challenge. How farn are you afraid your God might not respond if you take Mazaje's challenge?
