Thumbs up to an intelligent and focused lady. The real slay queen! |
Old stories! |
Casemiro:It's available in Shoprite and other stores. You can also get in our local provision markets. There's Oluji cocoa powder from Ile Oluji in Ondo State. Also Susan cocoa powder. Both are unsweetened. |
Delta state is quite rich but always appearing poor. Little or no positive impact on the masses. Our country is truly messed up! |
Unnecessary sentiments! How does that impact on dealing with insecurity issues? Is that why we're not winning the war against Boko Haram and the terrorists? Are soldiers identified as Muslims and Christians at the battlefront? Or bullets distinguish between them? The killings in the North know no tribe or religion. Everyone is at risk. Criminals are in every tribe and religion. All that we need is a pragmatic, diligent, unbiased and focused team that can get us out of this mess. I don't care who they are. |
@Op I hope your dad doesn't know something important that could affect your marriage. Pray as advised. God often guides you if you're fully committed to Him and you learn to listen to the Holy Spirit. If all else fails, you may marry quietly by going to the registry. When your wife gets pregnant (by God's grace), he'll gladly follow you to your inlaws for the traditional marriage. If he still complains, then you may need to break free from any form of bondage or generational curse....that's because you said no one has married properly in the family (if I got you right). |
This is heartbreaking! |
kingkuntaval:True maybe but 'we' voted for them to make laws so they should make themselves useful. Honestly it hurts to see young genuine businessmen lose good deals due to lack of trust in Nigerians. The big traders of old in Oke Arin and Idumagbo benefited hugely from credit sales. Now it's almost impossible. ![]() |
Why can't the Osun State Government secure a mining license from FG? Indolence par excellence! |
Pavore9:The parents should be made to face the law. It will create awareness, reduce ignorance and save lives. |
How come the gold deposit is not designated a National treasure like the oil in the Niger Delta? How are the people refining oil illegally in the SS treated? Can locals in the South mine their solid minerals illegally without any repercussion? There's neither equity, fairness or justice in this matter. I really pity the poor villagers who end up bearing the consequences of illegal mining. I hope and pray that lawlessness is not brewing in Nigeria as it obtains in some parts of North Africa. |
Gossipninja:Getting tired of all these Boko, bandit, kidnapper wars. This may be true or false but it's certain that some people are making money out of these wars. |
IjebuWarrior:She's not Yoruba. Just married to a Yoruba man. Why should it matter anyway? Proud of her...a well accomplished lady. |
Ogaemmy:Using their WiFi secretly is fraudulent though. Some form of 'yahoo'. |
It's always wise to obey the laws of the land be it in Saudi Arabia/Middle East, UK, US, Europe, Asia, or Africa. Those who break the laws have to face the music sadly. |
kayroc:My little understanding from enquiries and reading up on the various court cases (without prejudice to the courts) is as follows: He needs to prove that he's not owing GTB and if he is, he has to pay back. According to the court case, he may need to explain how shipping documents were falsified and presented to Customs for clearing if true (I don't know details of this.) The case he won has to do with his problem with the Customs and not GTB directly. That's why he couldn't 'take over' GTB as envisaged by some people. It may have been diversionary in a way. That's probably why FG has taken him to court to determine the truth of the matter. He had a case with GTB on the outstanding loan which didn't make much progress. Let's hope the court cases will progress so the truth will emerge at the end. For more information Google is your friend (including Wikipedia) |
I wonder why we didn't build on the initiative of Alhaji Jakande during his era. We had big ferries (Ita Faji and Baba Kekere) shuttling Marina - Mile 2 and Marina -Apapa. The government had plans to extend it to other parts of Lagos....before GMB struck. ![]() He also planned a metroline which was also cancelled with a huge loss due to lack of support by the GMB led FG. That may be one of the reasons transportation in Lagos missed out on consistent development. |
Most people don't have a full grasp of what happened in Innosons issues with GTB. To compound that, few people read the post before commenting. No one is victimising Innoson. All he needs to do is to prove that he didn't submit falsified shipping documents to GTB to collect a loan which he's yet to pay back. Once that is sorted out, he'll be home safe and dry. |
Really? He's from Daura as far as we know. |
Nice scenery and concept. |
Suppose she was drugged by the boys? It's a possibility so the Rector shouldn't have concluded that she was wrong. It seems only God knows what happened to them. |
sexyyoyo:Yet Osun state is poor! Why can't the state harness it's own resources for the good of the people instead of reeling in debts and 'modulating' salaries? Sad for this country. ![]() |
I can only laugh at their 'wisdom'. ![]() |
Next level corruption in an era of 'integrity'! |
RTSC:Far beyond university and polytechnic actually! |
agarawu23:I know a lot more than you can imagine. |
RichBoy247:Old testament! Christianity is deeply rooted in the New Testament though references are made to the Old Testament for various reasons. To be a true Christian is to strive to live selflessly and lovingly like Christ. I think it's better to explain the context in which the Quran quotes were made. Most times, you grasp the full meaning of a verse by reading through a whole Chapter. You also need to consider the fact that both Holy Books condemn murder. Some of the quotes arose from war situations. |
I pray that this works out well for Ondo people. |
What he does with his wife in his home is no one's business! This social media craze of invading people's privacy is becoming ridiculous. He has done nothing wrong in this regard and his privacy should be respected. |
Trouble everywhere! I wonder why it's so difficult to deal with the invaders who are causing so much havoc especially in the North. People are losing their lives and homes to the criminals. These are the same people that we're expected to accommodate. Hmmm! |
