nzeobi:Anambra has done well and improved greatly from the Peter Obi era especially. Handing over mission schools also helped. |
iammo:What's the use of big and empty model schools without good teachers? Or were the students so dumb to have been ranked 25th out of 36? No impact of his huge expenses is evident in the student's performance as far as I can see. |
May the journalist's soul rest in perfect peace. |
Can't he just move on and lead Imo to a greater future? Looking back all the time retards progress. |
Well I have seen Igbo beggars in Lagos. |
odiereke:My fears exactly! I pray that they get the real murderers. |
Same way we should not condone foreign terrorists killing our people here! |
afaatng:Hmmm! Meanwhile I watched a video of stranded Nigerians in UAE job searching along with many other frustrated immigrants. According to one of them, most agents are deceitful and employment isn't guaranteed. He ended by saying people should not expect to get jobs easily. He advised people to stay back in Nigeria instead of relocating only to end up in a mess as is the case of many. I hope your agency is different. If so, please explain further for those who are interested to understand the risks that they may face over there. |
All rapists parading as clerics should be made to face the law. Taking advantage of young girls is grossly unfair. |
This is terrible! What kind of mother is her mum? Knowing all these and doing nothing about it all these years just so she can stay married. She’s equally guilty. Horrible parents indeed. God bless her husband for helping her heal. |
She should be allowed to see her child. That could lift her up spiritually and emotionally to aid her healing process. When she recovers fully, she can ask for custody. A child under 6 is usually expected to be with the mother. May God grant her total healing. |
Officialgarri:Try reporting to LASEPA if you’re in Lagos. There are laws on noise control especially in residential areas. |
Encouraging her students in a nice way. |
How will the PTA teachers be paid? Perhaps more teachers have been recruited. I hope he’s aware that some schools lack key subject teachers. Free education is desirable but good planning is necessary to attain good results. |
RUGA will be good for the big forests in the North. It will drive away Boko Haram guys from Sambisa and the bandits from Falgore forest. Governor Ganduje and the Niger State governors are delighted to host as many herders as may wish to settle down in their reserves and ranches. Ignoring Southern States that do not want RUGA and making good use of what they have up North is the best route towards attaining peace in the polity. |
Complaints everyday! He should start with whatever is available if he hopes to succeed. |
Dr Adeboye isn't a government official nor a politician though he's considered influential. He has the choice to speak or remain silent. His sphere of influence is more spiritual than physical. When are we going to learn to hold our leaders responsible? Have the visitors cared to inform their various representatives in NASS and at the State level about their fears? Are they making them accountable by ensuring that they make their wishes known in the respective legislative houses? Have they protested to the governors who hold power over our land in trust? No, they want a priest to speak on their behalf. We have a very long way to go! |
May God grant them many happy years and marital bliss. |
buoye1: That’s terrible. We truly need strong laws to tackle that. It’s a grievous crime. |
Splashme:I see your point and agree with you |
deomelo:If it's not a Fulani program, why are they threatening everyone? Governor Ganduje invited those who are interested to come over to Kano where there's sufficient space. Niger State governor also said the forest reserve in his state can accommodate a very large numbers of cows. The combination of the two should be sufficient as a starting point. Cows due for sales can be transported to any part of the country. We also have Sambisa and Falgore forests among others which can be well equipped for the same purpose. Why not maximise the use of those ones before encouraging other states to donate land for a project that they're not interested in? Are we going to have Ruga for pigs too to suit the needs of some Southern states? Will the pig farmers be given space in the Northern reserves? Afterall it's also livestock. States/citizens should be allowed to decide what they want. Private farmers already buy land to set up ranches in the South. I don't understand why there's so much noise on a matter that can be easily solved if there's no hidden agenda. Ruga may be a good project but it's not been well presented nor properly linked to NLTP. That's probably why the VP knows nothing about it. |
Marrying out of pity is risky. Be prepared to take care of your children (once ascertained to be yours) even if you choose not to marry her. |
muriunited:It’s a country with a Muslim majority, above 80%. I don’t see the link between religion and this killing though. I pray that the murderers face justice for their wickedness. May his soul Rest In Peace. |
Meanwhile FFK is in Abuja. Who's fighting the battle he's stoking from afar? |
It seems Oyo State also has cattle being bred in the Northern part of the state. WAMCO (Peak milk) has an arrangement to collect fresh milk there for their factory. |
Is the farm still functioning? Any cattle being bred there? |
nku5:This is a well bred cow indeed! We need more of such farms or ranches in every state. |
phemtobo:Why would I want more out of school children when I know the implications and I’m involved in getting such people back to school? The point is that the governor should have planned well ahead before taking over governance. That the state is technically bankrupt shouldn’t be news. How to drastically increase the IGR to fulfill his campaign promises should have been a priority. By the way, remember that Oyo only had 1000 naira levy per term for the maintenance of facilities in public schools. That has been abolished. Let’s hope he can squeeze out enough from the budget to employ enough teachers and maintain the schools. |
A technically bankrupt state that insists on totally free education for a large population. |
nairalee:Which religion is perfect? Rape and molestation happens everywhere. The fact that it's covered up in some places doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Christians open up more easily instead of keeping quiet to defend the faith. |
Realanonymous:How old are you? Some exercises reduce the intensity or even straighten out the spine in growing children. Surgery is possible but expensive. I was once informed that Israel is good in this type of surgery. Please cheer up. Look at the brighter side of life. See a specialist in that field plus an orthopaedic surgeon for advice. Always remember that there are people in worse situations making the most out of their lives. Weekend Punch runs a weekly column that's highly inspirational for those living with disabilities and everyone else. Read and be thankful. Talk to a sickler. Also search for inspirational videos of those who triumphed against all odds. When life throws onions our way, its time to make lemonade! No one lives a perfect life. Cobhams Asuquo will give anything to see, 'Aki and Pawpaw' will appreciate growing taller and Yinka Ayefele dreams of walking again. Still, they have made the best of their situations. God will lift you above all sorrow if you choose to wholeheartedly trust in him. Cheer up, you'll be glorious against all odds. Amen |
The question is. .why is it always Pastor Biodun that gets accused of rape? Even if Busolas case is unproven, something is definitely wrong. He needs to come out with the whole truth to close these rape accusations. |
