There's a difference between Ugbo and Igbo. The pronunciation is not the same too. The Ugbo people still exist in Ondo State. They attacked Oduduwa. They used to adorn themselves with leaves and grass (Ugbo in their dialect) to sneak into Ife. Ifes conquered them eventually with the assistance of Moremi, a queen from Offa.

This is so sad! Adara people should join Kadaria to shout out to the world about these endless killings. It's beginning to look like a deliberate act by some people. The real purpose remains unclear sadly.

What happened to Nomadic Education in the days of Prof Jubril Aminu which drew so much attraction and consumed a lot of funds? Also more recently, the Almajiri schools built by GEJ, who are the students there?

Not only SE, they hardly leave their 6 SW states...

U will see someone from osun, schooled in Oyo, living in ondo, married from Ekiti...

There is this communication barrier they have, it makes them finding it hard to leave .

That's why the few ones who left SW to other region for NYSC, after POP, na race them dey take go back....

Any yoruba man who u see traveling was not born and brought up in the SW....

Update:

Dont call Lagos SW b4 thunder fire u there
Many Yorubas (especially from Oyo and Osun states) traveled to Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire etc years ago. They were into gold mining and cocoa trades mostly. They enjoyed travelling along the West African coast for business. Thats why they could speak Ghananian languages in Ogbomosho and French in Ejigbo years past.

There are many living in the North and in the South South especially PortHarcourt. You'll surely find some in Onitsha as traders or artisans.

The truth is that a Yoruba man will not feel comfortable in a place where he can't easily buy land to settle properly. That's not an easy task for any 'stranger' in the East.

Fools who refuse to develop themselves positively will always ruin their lives. They should be dealt with in accordance with the law.

So sad that we lost a promising young man cos of the greed and indolence of these heartless souls.

Politics › Re: When Nomadic Fulani Youths Are Educated, Zamfara Will Have Lasting Peace —miyett by delpee(f): 11:00pm On Apr 03, 2019
What stops them from going to school? Education is available in Public schools in the state. All they need to do is to take their children there instead of sending them to mallams far away from home or making them cow herders from a young age. In these two cases, no other skills are learnt.

A child needs to grow under the care of his parents. The school imparts the additional knowledge and training to live a meaningful life. Of course, religion plays a significant role but the Almajiri school system embarked upon by GEJ is best suited for this.

Politics › Re: Death For Drug Trafficking: Nigeria’s Anger Can’t Stop Saudi From Implementing I by delpee(f): 4:56pm On Apr 03, 2019
According to Abike Dabiri on the news yesterday, some of those accused of carrying drugs were framed up. That's why it's a sad story. Also kolanut can be considered to be a drug in Saudi Arabia! Their judicial system makes it difficult for an accused to prove his innocence beyond reasonable doubt. That is the crux of the matter.

May God protect us all from evil people. Still we need to act wisely. Travelling without a proper knowledge of the country being visited is very risky.
Politics › Re: Why Is There No SARS And EFCC In The North? by delpee(f): 12:03am On Apr 03, 2019
YoungAncient1:
There is SARS is the north as well as internet fraudsters. Where i feel the difference lie is in the believe that the North is generally conservative. While the South is seen as wild. Therefore, brute and iron fist is often employed to deal with issues from the south.

Just like having two children: one stubborn and the other calm. You obviously wont handle both with the same level of discipline.
Calm? Yet terrorism, banditry and kinapping thrives in the North. I don't see how that is a fairer deal compared to yahoo. Criminals who hurt other people are the same irrespective of the type of crime.
Business › Re: N8.7b Debt: GTB Resists Seal Of Bank by delpee(f): 12:42am On Apr 02, 2019
All I see is a man who prefers to keep going back to the courts to divert attention and delay judgement in the substantive case which is still ongoing.

In this case, the judgement debt of 8billion will be taken from Nigerian Customs account with GTB.

Panic withdrawals are most unecessary.I know for sure that deposits are safe. 8 billion is too small to make a significant impact on GTB. Besides, the matter is between him and Customs. Taking over GTB because of this as some think, is a tall dream.

GT should she have settled this outside of court since since bit I guess corporate foolishness got the better of them
Try to find out the details of the case. Nothing will happen to GTB. The big investors know what's happening and are unmoved.
