Read this somewhere before without the 3 plates of beans though. Definitely not an original story. Funny all the same. |
I know someone who has been cured of breast cancer. Tests at Mecure, surgery and followup at OAUTH and radiotherapy at Eko Hospital. That is not to say DJDOLA should not be flown out of the country if it becomes more expedient. The important thing is correct diagnosis to know the stage ( if any ) and prompt treatment. |
@OAM4J Mecure address is as stated by earlier respondents. Its within CWAY compound. Sorry for the late response. Lekki ph1 branch is close to the bustop by 1st gate, off Admiralty way. Its walking distance from the gate but I can't remember the street name. Not all tests are expensive considering their expertise. It depends on what is required. Basic comprehensive test (all vitals plus mammo/prostrate etc) is about 60k. The one that includes cancer screening is higher but after looking at the bills incurred so far with little progress I think we should try this and refer to the teaching hospitals for advice. Well done guys! Blessings shall flow your way ceaselessly. |
Please try MECURE for proper diagnosis. It's an Indian diagnostic centre. Some OAU, UCH doctors send patients there for tests in complex cases. They are at Oshodi with branches at Lekki phase 1and Ibadan. They have modern equipment. You can run some comprehensive tests without direct doctors referral especially in this case where a second opinion is badly needed. Meanwhile compliments of the season to you DJdola! May you be delivered from all these problems, may you arise and shine again by God's grace. |
GenBuhari:She was Professor Adadevohs daughter, my senior in school ( very brilliant lady) and my doctor for a while (she was in First Consultant for 21 years according to the Medical Director). Those of us who knew her are still sad that she died that way. She's dead, believe it or not. |
The earlier you stop deceiving yourself the better. You prevent her from having relationships that could lead to marriage for her and expect her to believe you will not marry her sometime. You are inadvertently giving signals that you love her and would wish you were married to her. Whereas what i see is lust. Why not encourage her to marry any of her suitors instead of being possessive? The story of a late former banker and his wife and mistress of many years who later became his second wife is a good example. The family was never at peace till he died. If you want peace for yourself and family, break the yoke of bondage before it's too late. |
BinghiNya:Those who died in the Kano mosque attack are also Christians I guess. |
Marvellous! I will definitely visit when next I'm in Ibadan. Brings back memories of family Easter picnics of old. Not a great place then but quite serene. God bless Ajimobi. |
I sincerely appreciate the efforts of the Tehn team and appeal that this internet war should stop in DJDolas interest. God will bless you all abundantly for going the extra mile for your neighbor. DJ doesnt need the distraction and he needs to be happy. We are all worried but let's be positive and come up with better ideas if any. My suggestion is that a comprehensive medical checkup can be done at once at MECURE (don't know where his tests were carried out earlier though). If its a terminal disease it will be evident as in stage 1,2 etc. Most teaching hospitals around refer their very ill patients there. I have older relatives who were gravely but are alive today due to correct diagnosis and prompt treatment. The earlier his actual problem is diagnosed the better. Another option is to take him out of the country if we have enough money. Meanwhile our prayer battle continues. |
God bless Tehn volunteers for their unflinching support. Maybe DJ should go home but correct diagnosis is still required for correct treatment. He can be taken to the Indian diagnostic centre at Oshodi if a second opinion is needed and to help in taking a decision on further treatment. Happy to see him looking good anyway. DJ will be fully healed by Gods grace. Amen. |
Tinubu:AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU IN AMAZING WAYS. AMEN |
@DJDOLA May God heal you thoroughly and glorify His name in your life. Amen @r231et al Very well done but methinks we should arrange a foreign trip for proper diagnosis. When diagnosis is accurate, treatment and healing comes easy with God on our side. |
God is faithful! We thank Him for their lives. |
Thank you for fighting to protect us. May your soul RIP. Amen |
Skin cancer alert to all bleachers. Its worse for women in case of CS. A word is enough for the wise. |
May the Lord strengthen and uphold you. May his soul RIP. Amen |
God will heal Hammed. We continue to pray. Thanks r231. |
semitunde:My last experience on the Lag-IB express was traumatic. Won't visit in December cos of the heavy traffic. Have a wonderful time. Treat Djangos sister jejely if you don't want red eyes o. ![]() |
feelme3:God will touch her and make her whole again. You will not weep over her by His grace. I empathise with you. May you be strengthened and filled with grace to cope with the situation. It shall pass and you will rejoice. Amen |
Geeman74:Why don't you step inside and give us your view? |
Beautiful! So different from the Agodi gardens of old. It was our regular venue for Easter picnic. Must check it out on my next visit to Ibadan. God bless Ajimobi. Ibadan a sin eleyi lemeji o. Amin. @semitunde Long time! |
God will complete what He has started. |
Obiagelli:Abi o. Strange that other powerful Obas are MIA. In addition, where's Soun of Ogbomoso, Awujale of Ijebu, Osemawe of Ondo, Akarigbo, Obas of Ilaro, Owo, etc. Wait a minute.... How come Ekiti Obas are also absent? |
Merciful God please grant Hammed divine healing. He will arise and shine to your eternal glory. Amen. How's DJ today BTW? |
Praise God!! My fears have subsided. May God grant him total healing. Amen. We can rejoice fully cos thanksgiving day is at hand. @r231 Well done o. |
yerilistik:Exactly what we were told then. Dialysis may not be neccessary. Its been 4years now and my uncle of over 70years is fit as a fiddle. I wish I remembered earlier that we could have a comprehensive checkup done for Hammed at Mecure. Faster and very reliable. Correct diagnosis is the first step to healing. God will see us through and Glorify His name. |
Lord you are so good Blessed be your name... Thank God for His great mercies! Hammed will arise and shine again by God's grace. We keep praying. (Funny there are no religious/tribal issues on this thread. Great that we all see that we are human beings first before tribe/religion. Also nice to see that we all appreciate prayers by whichever method.) @r231 Please can we have a second opinion on this dialysis option? I have an uncle who was asked to do same but eventually got healed through 'conservative treatment' suggested by another doctor at OAUTH. |
semitunde:Thanks bro for enlightening moi God help us to do much more. |
Sad story but thanks to TEHN. Always standing tall for the poor and distressed. Will send in my token shortly. May God heal him and gladden our hearts. God bless you Chaircover, Jarus et al. Oke lowo afunni ngbe. Divine favor is your portion and you will never lack by God's grace. |
Holywizard:? It doesnt have to have anything to do with her past. I've met people who were brought up by other people and know how they have lived beautiful lives cos they were simply grateful to God and man for having people that care around them. Many abandoned kids end up as touts. God didn't allow that to happen to you. Be thankful and He will do much more for you. |
If only people will face reality and see that we are all sitting on a time bomb. ![]() |
