busyflexz:NAICOM is the regulatory agency. It's under Ministry of Finance |
Sadly nepotism has never impacted positively on society. Few rich men, so much poverty. Probably part of the reason we have BH. Yoruba's say "Olowo kan laarin otosi mefa, otosi ni gbogbo won" "Oun ti a ko ba sise fun kii tojo, oun ti a ba fi gbogbo ara sise fun lo npe lowo eni." However, M. Kari has been in the Insurance industry for ages. I assume it was based on merit or he was " next in line". Time to be more careful with other appointments though. |
He couldn't have attended American War College without WASC. It's a degree awarding institution. Anyway it's irrelevant now, whatever certificate he got there is superior to WASC |
mubarakopeyemi:It's a pity that passing insults is considered acceptable even while fasting. Ignorance is a terrible thing! Best wishes. Case closed! |
Quoting from the Old Testament doesn't validate anything once it is not juxtaposed with the New Testament. Gods requirement for peaceful coexistence is at the root of ..Love your neighbour as yourself. There are many parables in the New Testament that signify a new way of life. An example of an old law is that of stoning an adulterer. In the New Testament, Jesus asked those who were sinless to cast the first stone. They all left and the woman was set free. |
So much money in our kitty that we never got to hear about. .This country is rich but badly mismanaged! May God lead PMB on the right path. Amen |
Hmmm! We learn more everyday. |
Tribalists should go and rest jare! So many successful intertribal marriages already. Bella Naija ( Uche Pedro) comes to mind. Happy married life to the lovely couple. Many more will happen whether we like it or not. |
Humble, industrious and ready to serve like her mum. God bless her. No need to bad mouth her. She obviously means well. ( She's Abdusalams daughter BTW). |
Fake story! Google is your friend. ![]() |
Standards have fallen so badly in the SW. The governors need to do a lot more than road construction and making fancy projects ( like Airport) a priority in the face of declining performance of students in examinations. It's so bad in some areas that some students can hardly construct two correct sentences in English! For those of us who benefited from the good education system of the past in Oyo State/Old Western Region, it's disheartening each time we touch base or meet current students from our once highly esteemed schools. A trip to GCI, QSI, Loyola or St Anne's to name a few will break even a hardened heart. Tinubu got it right by handing over some schools back to the owners. Igbobi, St Greg's, Finbarrs, Ansarudeen, CMS grams, etc are better off today and inspire competition between them and the public schools. Let's hope Oyo State will consider letting go of some so as to concentrate its finances on the others and improve on the infrastructure, teacher training and better management of the students for good performance. |
Hmmm! Hope they are truly his kids and that someone comes to their aid quickly. |
Omoluabi way of life is fast becoming history in Osun. Great pity! |
It's all about urban renewal and ensuring compliance with town planning and environmental laws. ElRufai did same in Abuja. Though painful then, FCT was saved from impending rapid deterioration and they're better for it today. |
Sandgrouse market traders say the place is to be demolished soon. They were informed. They're mostly Yoruba's. |
Great pity! May the Lord restore her in a wonderful way. Amen Insurance against major perils is far cheaper than most people think. Barring special circumstances, for the building, it's usually .0025% of the value of the property excluding land value. The contents can be valued and insured too at a slightly higher premium. The point is if you can spend millions acquiring a house, an extra 100k or thereabout ( depending on the value) should not be a problem. Same way some people buy expensive cars and and insure only against third party liabilities cos it's cheaper. Let's learn to be proactive and stop blaming the devil and village people (lol) for our woes. |
Story without a source! A joke I believe. |
victorels:Read about Chernobyl and other nuclear plants before you make up your mind. I'm not interested in tribal matters please. It's of no value and solves no problem IMO. There are intellects, nuisances and criminals as in good, bad and ugly in all tribes. I care about the general well being of Nigerians and our future generation whichever part of the country they come from. |
We don't want to add to our tales of woe in Nigeria No to nuclear plant anywhere in Naija! |
Hmmm! The kind of priorities we have in this country. |
Old idea which some people still cherish. Since your MIL considers it important, call her whatever she wants and have peace in your home. Your husband won't be able to do much when the wahala starts. A word is enough for the wise dear sister. |
Very old story! ![]() |
Really? |
1dickatatime:A different view. God will see your brothers back home safely. |
The same Tanimu Yakubu under Yar'adua for Finance? Hmmm. God knows best though. |
May you and your wife be consoled and blessed with more children that will gladden your heart. It's such a sad story but God will glorify Himself in your life as you surrender to His will. I hope that some of those in the health sector are reading this and thinking of solutions. Our healthcare delivery system MUST improve. |
To avoid stories that touch the heart, you,mum and siblings should leave the house. Separation is not divorce. Your mum should know that it is sometimes necessary to save your life so you can look after your children. Many churches are beginning to face reality. Life has no duplicate and its clear your father wants you out even if he will regret it later. The man will always find another wife and move on if he wants no matter what you do. Please tell your mum to talk to her pastors in case she's been faking a happy married life. I wish you the very best and pray that your mother opens her eyes clearly to see reality. |
God bless you GEJ for ensuring a peaceful transition! |
Nafdac should check out other Lebanese shops. They're always having" buy one get one free" offers on products close to expiry dates. How are we sure they aren't already expired but redated ![]() |
God bless BRF and his family. |
Amen! Please strive to excel so as to uplift yourself for good and make your benefactors proud. Be humble, focused and diligent. No big boy, higher level tinz. Lol. May God guide, protect and uphold you always. You'll meet with favor and grace every step of the way. You're forever blessed. |
