What the woman did is wrong.

The man is wrong too. She may not have been that way until his 'test'. I see what he did as a temptation. He said the right words to her. Exactly what she would have wanted to hear and he knew what because she is his wife. If only he'd been that way, she prolly wouldnt have cared about another man.

I think it is fiction though.

@toba, I'd really like to keep you for laughs which youv never failed to deliver. so, abeg, let me face this man.

davidylan: this doesnt require "thinking". The criteria for heaven is VERY CLEAR in the bible so there is no need to second guess, read tomes from "scholars" or prognosticate endlessly as muslims are wont to do on account of the awfully disjointed and unintelligible way the quran is presented.
If you read the book of John 3, the way to heaven is CLEARLY presented - ye must be born again . . . simple! Prov 28:13 says anyone who confesses his sin AND forsakes them shall find mercy. So yes you can have once been a thief, a killer or drunk... as long as you confess, forsake your sins and come under the grace of the blood of Christ, you are a candidate for heaven.
singing in heaven is not a reward but an act of worship.
You have made it clear that the biblical way to heaven is different from the Islamic one. So, what is the point again. You want me to believe yours is logical hmmn?

So, assuming youv been born again for a larger part of your life and close to your death, someone seduces you and you fornicate, you become doomed and destined for hell because you have gone against that doctrine that prevents fornication.

In Islam, You'd be punished for your sins. believing in the almighty Allah gets you to al jannah eventually. But whoever's been to hell gets the tag. may Allah save you and me from the hell fire(Amin)

Sweetnecta: Kind and compassionate man to his family may be a wicked man like Hitler or Pharaoh [take your pick].

Islam is not by being from a religious household or being called alfa. Islam is from the heart and since you do not believe in existence of the soul, please what came out of those cadavers that make them fall flat and you are able to cut into them at will for your medical research and studies?

I can assure you that it is the soul which they, you or I have no control to when it will leave that left the body lifeless.

Your walimat is now useless because you have turned the sacred event signifying that you gained some knowledge to useless knowledge that may stand against you before God. And I swear by God that you and I will stand before Him for our records good or bad.

You can't escape reality: you are a human, born helpless, now grown and strong. And if you live on earth long enough, you will lose those vigor like I have and realize that your end will come someday.

Just like you can not quantify the soul, you can not know how a dead person feel because you are not dead, yet. Just don't die on the wrong Aqeedah.

All your bravado is to me your ego. Youth something and almost stupidity and full of it. There was a time I thought the world resolve around me and no one else matters.

Aburo. Roo ree o. Do not let death catch you unless you are on Laa ilaha ilAllah {the Unique Lord} and Muhammadanr rRasulullah [as].

Avicenna: I was born into a deeply Islamic family. I am regarded as a sort of Alfa in my area. I had my wolimat early so I know all about this. The very concept of Allah is what I do not agree with which I have therefore shunned. One thing I have realized during clinicals,is that cadaver remains cadaver just useful for medical research. I took solace in that their 'soul' is in a better place but the concept of soul itself remains unproven. I no longer believe in a Book that I was forced to accept as the truth. For instance, you quoted parts of the Quran. I do not believe in Allah from whom it came from,so I do not regard it anymore.
As for my medical studies, actually it helped reach my conclusion. Nothing has changed. I remain my kind and compassionate self.
Did you learn more than Qur'an recitation? what people regarded you as doesnt in the lest matter. The same medical knowledge that has brought others closer to Allah is the one you'r claiming the reason you dont believe in him.

Pastor AIO: I think it would be better for religion as a whole, especially christianity and Islam, if it's adherent refrained from posting on this forum and arguing. The only results have been to turn people into atheists. I do not know anyone that has become a christian due to something they read here, the same holds true for moslem. I have only heard of conversions to atheisms and not just one or two.

I don't think it is because the atheists or agnostics have argued particularly persuasively. Rather it is because the religious people keep on shooting themselves in the foot with their inanity. They are the best advertisment for Atheism.

Only God knows how many more Atheist this religious board has created apart from the one's who have made the confessions. I can bet that there are many, they just won't come forward, sagely.
I have also wondered how many prople have become atheists on this forum. But you cant control what people do on here. I believe some others get enlightened by what others have to say. i have learnt a lot here, as an example
cantell, the bible is clear on this issue. You see it is only an unholy women , ungodly woman, who does not believe in God that would go to a different church that her husband goes. some women are not good.

you see the bible says in the last day, there would be false prophet and false pastor. this is what the Pentecostal church have become. It is full of false pastor who tell lies in the name of God. they will tell you, that papa said, father said or daddy said, the spirit said and all that, they are false prophet and false men of God. This is why the false pastors use church money to buy expensive cars and others. Because they are not children of God. I am not saying christain should not buy expensive car. if you have your money. buy a plane, but dont collect money from people in the church to buy plane or car. no true man of God will steal church money. It is a sign of a false prophet and pastors.

Can such a pastor ask jonathan Goodluck where he got his money from. The answer is NO. because he is a false pastor, so he can not speak. because he too is doing what the politician are doing. himself they wake money.

I am not saying , i am a pure person. I am not Ok.

Matthew 7
15“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

If you note this verse , it says, they shall be like SHEEP. Sheep look gentle and Godly, pure and holy from outside.

here is your answer

1 Corinthians 7

10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband.

You will notice the bible said WIFE MUST NOT SEPARATE FROM HER HUSBAND. and the bible did not say Husband must not separate from wife. So women must go to the church their husband goes. the bible says follow peace with all men and holiness no man shall see the lord.

there are false church who look good on the outside but satan house of worship, judge people by what they do and not what they say.
I agree you are not okay. You are an impostor. Arent you ashamed of preaching Jesus as one??

Christianity Etc › Re: Experiences On A God-centered Romantic Relationship by deols(f): 1:30pm On Apr 14, 2012
this thread is an eye opener. I am a Muslim and I dont like it when others(especially Christians) try to tell us how things should be done. I mean, trying to judge our ways by their own perception /religious doctrine and so, I wont be doing same.

Am baffled however that a God-centered relationship involves touching, kissing etc. I was expecting such relationships to be devoid of those.

I also find it odd that many people talk of laying down rules. Except that the people involved are kids, everyone should already know what is right and keep away from them. Are those rules such as, 'we could kiss but nothing much'?, in which case, it would make more sense to me.

Generally, it is very possible to not be intimate before marriage. Be true to yourself and what you want to achieve and do it for the right reasons.

KDULAR: And if they don't have their way, in the normal fashion, "Allah akbar" then violence, then bombings then people will die and some will become Matyrs and Nigeria will become whatever. Then we 'll start having the Jos situation but they don't care because they know they are going to "al jana". Truly I wonder if present day Yoruba Muslims are anything but Yorubas , if they are not different from the Boko Harams and the Al majiris . I wonder if they truly even follow the Islam or they are just out there for trouble? The proud Muslims are no more there but the aggressive, selfish, emotional, low esteemed, wanna be's. Who cannot differentiate between Government and personal life and want to at alll cost look like the Northerners (pssss!).
Did the Prophet (SAW) preach or encourage that, I guess not. Why am I not wearing religious apparrel to my office? why am I not dressing my child like Ifa told me to or as the Sango deity or the christianity told me/

I am even so shocked to see someone claiming that what is being currently worn now is Christian uniform!!! huh . What qualifies a western form of dressing religious? So the pakistanis or that puts on a suit with the turban or cap on is a christian or President Ahmedinajab is now a Christian or any of those muslim arabs or persians? I think Yorubas, we are loosing it shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked
obviously, you didnt get the point. That form of dressing was designed by who? Muslims? Christians?. It doesnt affect who?

When there is a uniform for all students.
yeah, some do.

There's a big difference btwn a private and a public school. The public school is run on state funds and every1 should have equal access to them.

A private school is governed by the principles of its founders. You go there with a choice.
Do people in public schools have what it takes to seek choice

naptu2: It's very easy to divide and manipulate Nigerians. When an issue pops up, we don't ask "is it true?", we don't reason things through, rather, we get emotional and go on the attack.

This is why, it is very easy to ruin someone's reputation.

It is very easy to get followers who'll follow you like sheep.

It is very easy to start violence and carnage when you don't get your way (just manipulate "followers"wink.

It is very easy for the media (especially print media) to make money off Nigerians.

It's very hard to bring development (one sensationalist story and everything you are working for can be destroyed).

Igbo vs Yoruba, Christians vs Muslims, Hausa vs Fulani, Ife vs Modakeke, Ijaw vs Igbo. How will the country develop?

the way you talk borders on your upbringing. I wouldnt trade insults with you.
Nigerians have a right to practice their beliefs without any form of fear whatsoever in their motherland. If you'r not okay with that, you can move to Jerusalem.

Who designed the school uniform you were talking about. I propose a review on school uniforms that would allow each individual dress in the most comfortable way to them. Now, this is democracy.

2) If they announce a ban, the proper thing for aggrieved people to do would be to go to court. Violence or threat of violence will not solve anything.
