The NPF has told you what they are looking for. Once you understand that none of the people bitching online will stand with you when it comes down to it, then you do the needful. When the words were out that some people are stealing female pants, most went on the defensive to protect themselves. Forewarned is forearmed. Words are our now that NPF are looking for losers with tattoos and dreads, why can't people take precautionary measures not to become easy targets?

Moving on, I see the way Nigerian girls dress because they watch too much of American movies. If you dress like that walking down the street, you will definitely get cat calls from men, some will honk at you and the police may harass you for possible prostitution. Yep! And I live in California where it is supposed to be going down.

Just give the police nails and hammer to be nailing these folks to the cross.

You've probably not seen someone who has natural dreadlocks.
My mother has a tattoo.
Profiling criminals based on looks is a lazy way. Most criminals neither have dreads nor tattoos
PoliticsRe: Buhari Didn’t Need NJC To Appoint Me – Acting CJN by DeOTR: 3:56am On Mar 18, 2019
Of course, you're only an acting CJN and the suspended CJN is the substantive Chief Judge of the federation.
But the question is that the President has no power to suspend Mr Walter in such manner and that's why they're questioning your appointment as the acting CJN. You being the acting CJN is an illegality in itself.

To be honest, Wike is winning this election. I think it's even safe to say he's running unopposed. How Amaechi thinks he can use federal might to gain victory for someone almost unknown to most people in the state baffles me...not in this age and time, at least.
I'm very sure most people who were going to vote APC, voted PDP because the former has no candidate in the polls.

BusinessRe: Why You Should Worry Again About The Central Bank’s New Forex Ban by DeOTR: 6:10pm On Mar 12, 2019
mfm04622:
It is not banned! You can legally import textile into Nigeria. You just cannot get forex from official source to buy your textile. Big difference! So you are forced to buy black market, which will increase your cost. CBN hope the increase will enable local textile manufacturers compete favourably with imported textiles.
It's a waste of time. At the end of the day, you'll see locally made textiles doubling the foreign one in price.
If we want to reduce the pressure on our foreign reserve, we can start from my earlier suggestion or we should just leave everything as it is.
By the way, what's the difference in the official forex rate and that of the black market?
Like you already pointed out, expect an abuse of this policy.

mfm04622:
If you expect Nigeria to invest in refineries, you are still asleep! We know ourselves. Any investment in any asset will be stolen in the long run. Dangote and at least one other refinery will soon be online.
If that's the case, then I don't think we can do anything right without abusing it. Even this suppose ban on textiles import won't have a desirable outcome.

mfm04622:
My guy, CBN governor can only do much! He is not a magician! The strength of our currency depends on how much dollar we earn from export and how much dollars we demand for imports.
So if you want a stronger Naira, either export more or reduce your imports. What exactly do you want the governor to do? Interventions is just to manage such things. Interventions are costly and you can't keep intervening to keep the Naira strong!
Refined petroleum products is our largest import. We can start reducing the pressure on our foreign reserve by investing on our refineries. We should start from there.

theoldpretender:
As it is, Lagos town needs 15000mw....so at 1MW for 1million USD....that means you would spend $15,000,000,000 (15 billion IUSD) giving Lagos power.

And our foreign reserve is just 40bn. Abacha loot was under 4bn (and we have other needs mind). We have spent 300bn USD on the wild goose chase up North...that is just 340 watts using your calculation.

In other words...the money we need is FAR more than what Abacha loot and oil search loot will get us to.Like we need up to 15000 or more watts extra right now.

See the problem? and see why we need to allow DISCOS to charge higher...so that lots of investors will come in from abroad...and eventually prices come down and power improves?

We did the same for GSM. People paid N10000 for SIM cards at a time when service was poor. GSM guys took that money...and Nigerians back them were saying they were cheating us...and used the money to make services better.

Either we are realistic...or we just keep on suffering in silence.
Let the DisCos give everyone a prepaid meter first, then we'll take it from there.
Estimated billings is the major reason why people are not paying. With prepaid metering, it would difficult to consume without payment and officials will only need to ensure the meters are not being bypassed. But as it is, the DisCos can not complain of money owed. The power sector is owned by private individuals, but it's we that buy transformers. After installation, these mo.rons will still be expecting us to pay bills without a break for a month or two. Are we sharing profits with the DisCos?
And if your transformer gets blown up, these people won't attempt to replace it unless people in the neighborhood contribute to do so. They can't eat their cakes and still have it.
Discos should start living up to their responsibilities or they should pack up and allow investors who can. We can't pay higher for darkness.

Hmm the devil is very cunning indeed
Quotes from the Catholic Church:
"Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her; --she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority." (Rev. Stephan Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism, On the Obedience Due to the Church, chap. 2, p. 174. (Imprimatur, John Cardinal McCloskey, archbishop of New York)

"The authority of the church could therefore not be bound to the authority of the Scriptures, because the Church had changed...the Sabbath into Sunday, not by command of Christ, but by its own authority." (Canon and Tradition, p. 263)

A friend of mine, her mom lost 200k about four weeks ago, Eco bank. All they had was her acct details.

I think u should do more research on carding bro. Use this keyword "how to do carding" "all about carding"

U will understand better.
I know it happens.
But except you kidnap me and force me to do the stealing for you, my cards are useless. I know what I'm saying. Only one of my accounts has a card, by the way.

Alright.. What he is into is carding. Do u know that there are software that try to replicate a given ATM card? In fact, the software he is talking about, there was a period they sold them in Amazon. It has a code name. Only if u know the software that u will know the code name. What that software does is to reveal some hidden codes inserted inside a given ATM card. There is another software that imprint a given info of a card into another card to replicate that card.

But what he is into is simple: he gets the card code, it could be the 3 digits or the peculiar digits in the 15 digits on the card, place the card into the software and the software reveals other needed info imprinted in the card.

Then he can use the revealed info to shop online on sites that allow this type of shopping. Yes, there are sites that allow such shopping. They wouldn't need your personal pin. Just certain inform which that software can reveal. Most dark web sites have links to such shops where u can use stollen card details to shop peacefully.
You're funny.
As far as I know, no one can steal a Kobo from my account even if they have my card and the PIN.
The guy is an armed robber, that's all.
EducationRe: Why Do Science Students Always Score Higher Than Art Students In UTME? by DeOTR: 2:29pm On Mar 02, 2019
DonroxyII:
Oga I finished secondary school in 2003 .... (It was a no phone era for secondary students, only adults have gsm unlike now and the Alhajis n Pastors have landlines) !!!

I know what our science class students put in and what we commercial student put in as well as Arts in that era and prior eras.

Best student in Art can not compete with Science in , "Mathematics" ... we all avoid Further maths and there is a level playing ground in English in fact , An art student is still likely to be aced in English language except Literature in English (it's not a general course) !!

The effort required to aced science courses as well as the difficulty level is never compared with Art ..... and the effort level is reflective in the results of science students !!!

Art students are always happy when it's time to play Drama or press clubs .... while a science student is breaking Polynomial and Binomial, spending time in laboratory mixing chemicals that may never yield expected textbook result !!

The effort level I put in Accounting as ICAN student I swear if I should put it in Sociology (a course with zero calculation) .... Taaaaa .... cheesy

Now, Sociology is difficult for an average sociology student and Engineering is difficult for an average Engineering student

Now, let a common exam be set between Engineering student and a sociology student....

Engineering student will read based on engineering difficulty level and time .......

Sociology student will read based on sociology difficulty level and time ....

Engineering student is likely to excel based on past difficulty level already trained for while sociological student may wobble due to not having experience in such difficulty level and time commitment !!

You see why Engineering graduates are taking over banking jobs ..... They excel better in GMATs/ SHL and the likes than Social science and Art students .....and with an MBA, they are already where we are cheesy

Their difficulty levels is more than ours and time put in is not same as ours ....

The time put in to grasp calculation and technical courses is higher than time put in for reading through pages of non calculative assertions !!

You think the same time I used to read 'Management , Governance and ethics" is the same time I dedicated for "Strategic Financial Management"
An ICAN student will understand !!
If you know what you're doing, you shouldn't spend much time on courses that have to do with calculations. They're relatively easier and you don't even have to read all the time.
I don't know about anyone else, but I hate reading endless pages of texts.

Against all odds, we did well in passing a vote of no confidence on Buhari. But what do we have in the East? Buhari getting more votes than he got in 2015 coupled with very low turn out from you guys.
How else can explain a state like Abia with almost 2 million registered voters having less than 400 thousand votes cast?
The people who refused to vote are the actual people that voted for Buhari.
If the turn out in the east is anything in the region of 50% average like it was in the west, it would have been a different ball game entirely.

what does Atiku/OBJ did for west during their wasted Years? Lagos/Ibadan expressway was grounded, ikorodu/sagamu road was in a sorry case, they withheld Lagos state allocation and some people still found it comfortable to vote for Atiku
People can only relate to achievements they can feel, not the ones on TV.
The whole country is in a sorry state due to wacky economic policies of this government and you're here talking about roads. Road construction should not even suffice as part of any government achievement. It should be a routine activity.

PoliticsRe: INEC Official Results For 2019 Presidential And National Assembly Elections by DeOTR: 12:46pm On Feb 24, 2019
AyakaDunukofia:
People should understand that Nigeria does not run the 'electoral college' system like the US in which the number of states a candidate wins determines victory. The system here in Nigeria is determined by the popular votes won, that is the number of votes a candidate secures.

A candidate may win 20 states and still don't win the election because the votes dividing him and his opponent in those states are not wide enough, especially if the opponent is leading in other states with a wide margin. This is what should concern intelligent observers with regard to Buhari and Atiku.
If a candidate wins 20 state and still didn't have the popular vote, then the other candidate who has more votes can not be declared winner. The winner has to win a 2/3 of all the states and the FCT. Get your facts right
