Hello everyone,
I'm working on my visa application and would like to seek your advice. Please which is better, say my family would be staying with a distant relative or hotel.

Thank you
Which ever you chose is okay, but you should have the following at the back of your mind, because you might be asked when you go for interview .
Is the distant relative a us citizen,? Is he there legally?
If you are stating hotel, you must have a reservation from the hotel to show when you go for the interview and also, you should work out total cost of your period of stay and add it to your budget sheet

My wife is a US green card holder and she want to travel with my 1yr old son to Nigeria. she already got our son his US passport book so I want to know if she will need to acquire Nigeria visa on his US passport book before he can travel back home with her to visit my parents? I want to know if he can get Nigeria passport on arrival or she must get him Nigeria passport before leaving the states? Great mother in the house who have travel to US for child birth and return home should kindly advice on this questions.
Yes she needs to get him a Nigeria visa on his us passport or a Nigeria passport before leaving the us or process visa on arrival for him, which ever you guys prefer, but if it was me,i will get him a 9ja passport or visa before leaving the Us,to save me plenty English and explanation at the us airport

Hello all,I am a firsttime poster, I should be in USA in March 2017. I am also considering Dallas or Taxes.one of the major issues am having is accommodation as I do not have anyone in both statEnglish but with water I read it think the states are the cheapest.so pls if anyone can help me with how I can sort that problem pls I would appreciate. I amean like 80% consideringet using Dr F. He gave a quotation for CHI st luke's health sugarland ,pls has anyone used this hospital?
You don't have know anyone or have any relation in those states. Just get doctor and hospital sorted, then start looking for accommodation, there are a couple of places that has been mentioned on this forum, check them out

I got same phone numbers I have been calling and my calls been transferred... huh
Is it that when they transfer the calls,no body picks up at the other end or what?
I remember having a similar scenario when I called some hospitals/Dr's office ,in some instances I had to wait for like 10-15mins after transferbefore someone picked up,so I will advise you keep trying and be patient,if you situation is similar to what I just described.

Good morning lovely people, please does anyone have information on applying for B1/B2 visa for my mum of 74years of age. As me and my baby are travelling together for my childbirth, hubby wont be around till baby is born, we just thought of applying for my mum to come along with us to reduce stress of caring for my baby and delivery and for her to have a holiday 3xperience. Her visa fees has been paid and appointment scheduled for this oct, we have moved out flight plan till after her interview. Please i just wnat some infos which are;
1- please what are the likely questions she will be asked at her interview and likely documents to go along with as hubby stand as the sponsor.
2- has anyone flown turkish airline from lagos to houston, please what was your experience like. Thanks so much
Your mother should go with sponsors bank statements and the photo copy of the following :
Data page of your intentional passport
Your us visa page
Your doctor and hospital correspondence

Asin, the thing just tire me. This new bank policies are frustrating. I won't be surprised if there'll be no more international spending on naira denominated cards from November. It is well.
Some banks like diamond bank has already stopped the use of their visa debit card for online purchases. I tried it some days back and couldn't,so i decided to chat then up,only to be told that it's use has been suspended for now

Hello house; This is an ‘almost’ silent follower [my story is on the ‘anyone trying iui, ivf’ thread] coming back to say thank you. I can honestly attribute our success at the visa interview yesterday to all the info I gathered here over the months & prayer.
After reading your story on the other thread "Anyone trying IVF /IUI /ICSI " i can only say that your case was God all the way. It gives hope to people that would normally want to give up,that if God can do it for you,He can also do it for them. I'm saying a prayer for you that your testimony will be full. IJN.Amen .

Really nice thread. Please will really appreciate your answers. Someone that doesn't have relatives over there can she still birth there and if possible what are the procedures. Thanks a lot.
Any one can birth in the USA,whether you have relatives there or not. The important thing there is if you can afford it. If you are planning on embacking on this journey,i will strongly advice the you get a pen and jotter and start reading from part one,it will do you a whole lot of good.

Good morning everyone, pls need your help on this. My visa application was meant for vacation and hotel was mentioned as accommodation. Now the story has changed, though the chance of intent letter has been sent and reply received. And I'm planning of staying with somebody now, if at the POE I'm asked where I will be staying do I need to still book the hotel or just mention my new host address. Please I need your help
Where you pregnant when you applied for the visa? If no,then i think the best thing for you to do at this stage is to come clean and be truthful since the whole wake has changed. If i were you,if asked at POE,i will just tell them that visa was originally gotten for vacation and i had planned to stay in a hotel then, but since i couldn't use it for that purpose,i decided to use it for birthing and had informed the embassy of my change of intent and I'm staying with a friend now, shikina !

Hello girls I have been a silent reader since the first part of the Forum, I am from Mexico City and when I was looking in Google for Giving Birth in USA this forum came to me and now I am a follower of you girls. I
You are welcome. Glad to have you. Dresparati use to be very popular in the part 1& 2 of this thread, but i guess due to the distance & the discovery of other budget places most people don't go that far anymore, but you still find people goin there now and then

Thanks.

what do you think about my second question if am called eventually
I have calculated the amount spent on hospital and doctor F the last time was about 7k, I hope they won't say it's small based on VOs assumptions that child birth cost up to $15,000. Do I just go ahead and use same budget but state that due to current exchange rate which is three times I will be spending more.
If peradventure you are called for an interview,i would advice you get a new doctor and hospital correspondence you should reflect the price quoted in your budget sheet , all the same i think you are in order with $7k assumption,,most people that apply for visa on this thread usually gets quotes in that neighbourhood . If the issue come up,tell them it's cash/selfpay package ,they can contact the doctor if they are in doub.

Good day all. I am a returning preggo mama. Husby wants to fill drop box and I insists he states medical for me. He said he will attach all our previous receipts for my last delivery. I will just be preparing for a follow up appointment if called or should I just pick an appointment date and go for an interview. I have calculated the amount spent on hospital and doctor F the last time was about 7k, I hope they won't say it's small based on VOs assumptions that child birth cost up to $15,000. I have the documents for the zero balance
I don't think you are allowed to add things like receipts when submitting passport for drop box. They are usually very strict with documents you can add. Will advice you still do drop box and fill in doctor's name and address as US contact, that way it's obvious you are going for medical, and if they are still not satisfied and invite you to come for interview, you can then go with your receipts .

Since you have less than a week left before your departure i will strongly advice you pay Oakbend the $600 and use them, since it's not to far from Katy. And also find out from them if you can use the Methodist at Katy for delivery. You just have to make up your mind fast and make a move, time is not on your side o

Is that what DHL means by form. Which means we should print that pag?
What form are you talking about, is it the one they give you at dhl when you go to drop the passport? Or is it the printout you are expected to submit with your passport when you go to dhl ? what stage of the process are you actually? Throw more light,so that you can be advised properly

How do I renew my mums visa with drop box? She was asked to fill a form. We don de find d form since...not seen. Pls put us thru
You will fill the visa application form online, like everybody, the dropbox part comes up when you are about to book appointment ,they ask you a couple of questions, which will then qualify you for drop box
