Politics / Re: PEPT: Military, Police Warn Protesters As Tribunal Delivers Judgement Tomorrow by DerMeister: 8:01am On Sep 05, 2023
Peak stupidity! You win the dumbest comment of the day!
helpee:
The Obidients introduced bitterness into Nigerian politics. How could you go to court and already concluded that unless the judgement goes your way, then you must protest. Why go to court in the first place? The worst part of it is that this is the worst and most spurious election petition in the history of nigeria. A petition so spurious and watery that if the obidients are not really a headless mob, they would have stoned obi for wasting their time in court.
However, obidients can’t think . They want to retrieve a mandate for a candidate who never challenged the result of the election in court but is asking the court to disqualify the winner.

1) IREV - Dead on arrival. Just like saying FIFA ( Court) must cancel a World Cup final match because AIT( IREV) did not broadcast it live even though the referee ( INEC ) officiated the match and declared a winner.

2) CIVIL FORFEITURE- Dead on arrival. Just like saying because kidnappers paid money into your account without your knowledge ( and police already caught the kidnappers) and the court asked you to forfeit the money then you can no longer contest. So many people were victims of such payments from kidnappers and 419 in time past. The police would arrest you and once they see the kidnappers, they will release and you will forfeit the money. That’s civil forfeiture

3) 25 percent FCT- Dead on arrival. When the citizens of Abuja start paying 25 percent tax more than others , maybe this can work. For now, they are no angels.

4) Chicago- dead on arrival. The school said it is our certificate. The headless mob said No, the school is lying. What kind of stupidity is that?

Anyway, it is time for police and military to do target practice because the petition can only be resolved one way…. In favor of Tinubu with heavy fines against Obi for wasting the time of the court.

Does hepatitis C have a vaccine? If one has taken Hep B vaccine, does one need booster shots years later?
Oseniade:
I am a Laboratory Scientist by training. Hepatitis B is even more widespread than HIV and fortunately it has vaccine. Peradventure you got infected with Hepatitis B, you will spend more than #500000 to get a cure. That is the bitter truth. Vaccine that cost less than #5000. GET tested today and save yourself a myriads of problems in the future.

Bless you for this post!! Indeed the Force is strong with you...

deepwater:
lol

NCDMB is dragging things too far at times.

We all shout Nigerian Content, Nigerian Content forgetting that they are people that have the indigenous technology we bring into the market and they need to be part of their investment.

Take a look into the deepwater world for example, where you have Nigerian owned companies acquiring sophisticated offshore vessels running into billions of Naira from the ASIAN / European market and back here NCDMB would not allow a foreigner work on the ship! Dont be misguided by sentiment, as at today Nigerian can only boast of less than five (5) core competent electro-technical officers to man a ship in the oil and gas industry. The rest just went to Ghana Maritime Authority to pick certificates. They come to your vessel and ruin the machinery on board thereby deploying the NIgerian company as ship owners into debt. Now the company has additional cost to bring in OEM and spares into the country to repair things not covered by warranty (Insurance and warranty doesnt cover cluelessness and ignorance).

Taking about the last part

for those not aware, every project in the oil and gas industry has a percentage for local spend by law, but lets face the honest truth NCDMB should show us any company in nigeria that manufactures common solenoid valves, oil/water filters or PLC display panels. Did i hear someone say Nigerian can be trained to manufacture this items? We have a lot of trained Nigerians already (local and foreign), this issue goes beyond class room and practical training; there is no enabling environment - we are yet to address power issue which is the bedrock of manufacturing! We do not ave the indigenous technology, you can not reproduce another persons work without license/permission and yes no OEM will issue that for free knowing well enough that you wont let there staff stay in your country to work. Nobody forced you and your fellow muslamic wahabbists to watch TV, if you don't like DSTV throw out your decoder and focus on your koran and leave those of us who want to watch DSTV to watch it in peace.

Nairalanddist:
The federal government should please ban DSTV, GOTV and startimes. Those stations are polluting the minds of Muslims in this country and their programs are anti Islamic. The only channel we want nationwide is the Islamic channel to learn about our holy Prophet (pbuh) and holy teachings of Allah so that gradually everyone will become Muslims angry

Pets / Re: Man Who Names Dog Buhari Is Guilty!!- Deputy Speaker, SU by DerMeister: 1:42pm On Aug 26, 2016
You have given me hope in the Nigerian educational system. It is good to see a student put up a decent argument not that buffoon who calls himself a deputy speaker. The thing is only rascals engage in school politics most of the time.

I'm so ashamed with the kind of students we have in our institutions of learning. Why can't our students make research on a particular issue before coming out to disgrace their institutions and lecturers?I'm a student of Abia State Polytechnic and I want to tell that OP that he just showed the world that his institution lacks good lecturers. The man that named his dog Buhari is not guilty of any offence,be it breach of public peace or whatever you call it.Consider the Supreme court's interpretation of section 249(1)(d) of the criminal code cap 29 vol 11 laws of Ogun state of Nigeria in the case between Nelson Ohanyere & 9 VS IGP(1957)SCNLR 213.Check section 39CFRN. Career / Re: Staff Of Baker Hughes Protest In Port-Harcourt by DerMeister: 3:35pm On Jul 23, 2016
Your stupidity/foolishness is boundless. Your ignorance is limitless. Refrain from commenting on things you know nothing about. Nobody would know if a man is a fool until he opens his mouth...

pacespot:
But the real question is, what is the usefulness of these nigerian Baker Hughes staff to other nigerians?

What have they learnt in the company that they are bringing to benefit Nigeria?

Can they now set up their own company and extract the resources themselves?

If all of these are NO answers, then they should get stuffed and face their own problem.

All what these Nigerian oil workers care about is to sit under full AC all day and collect their fat pay cheque at the end of the month. Attend jamborees, send their kids abroad, fornicate and oppress other less privilege Nigerians.

No creativity on their part to think that what these foreigners are doing on our land, we can also do the same and retain all the wealth in Nigeria.

So now that they in the time of reckoning, they are shouting back at the society they don't even care about.

What have they given back to the society?

Probably nothing,

Someone should tell these people that we don't buy these old stocks!!!

Very correct! After 4 yrs, the tyre deteriorates...

sooperrescue:
The frsc is right. In 2009. we trained some of their officers on tyre monitoring courtesy of Dunlop tyres. The tyres do expire after four years irrespective of the usage. I remember how Michelin tyres were always worried about the stock in their warehouse because of the poor sales activities and their clock ticking on their tyres. That said, the number one problem is the tyre temperature and speed ratings. Even if you bought a 2015 made tyre and it is temperature b tyre and t rating, you are courting danger. Ensure you have temperature a on your tyres and an accurate speed rating for your car.

You can't learn wireline! You have to be trained by the service company to run its tools. Each service company has its own tools and software that differ from company to company. It's not like mud engineering. If you want to waste money learning rudiments, you can go to ips in uniport for a 2 week course.

Until nigeria can refine enough crude to produce petrol products in sufficient quantities for domestic use it will be at the mercy of the forex market and the fuel importers cabal. Any administration that doesn't work towards increasing refining capacity is not serious about tackling petroleum product shortages. Sadly this has been the case since obasanjo was president till date.
The future is forsaken.
