If it really becomes true one day, it must be the best project ever in Naija universities  cool cool
True!

but you just hope some people(journalists and reps) are hounding the minister or whoever is in charge of this up and down asking him about the completion dates so it doesn't just become another 'mulling'.
Education › Re: FG Provides Free Internet To All higher institutions In Nigeria by DisGuy: 5:03pm On Nov 18, 2009
Bilbis said: "We are committed to ensuring that facilities of these nature are provided in all the tertiary institutions in the country. Already, we have finished constructing the first phase of the centres in all the six geo-political zones of the country and very soon, we are going to ensure that all schools, including some secondary schools across the six geo-political zones, benefited from the community-based communication programme."

The minister, however, declined to state the total sum set aside for the project.

He re-affirmed the commitment of President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua to ensuring that Nigerians leverage on current ICT resources for national development.
This is one of the reason I hate nigerian journalist, someone is right there in fromt of you tell you they have built something, a picture or a confirmation will do! Anyone on here seen these buildings? Where are they?

does anyone know what they mean by viewing centres? Is this the same as those place people watch football matches etc?

So first day i saw this video or should i say the title of his song, i was thinking its just one of those wannabe
after Several days listening on HiTv, I just love the simplicty and concept of the video- very clean and different, not dark, loud and brash like these our noise-makers with funny jewellery and over sabi suits in hot weather

SEFAGO:
Its not about tribe mate, its about being african- dr albans decision to proudly sing in the thick african accent was ballsy- I am sure if you live in europe/america you will understand how difficult it is to use your thick nigeiran accent infront of other people except fellow nigerians. Many atimes, i have seen people with crisp british/american accents who break into thick nigerian ones when they find out i am from nigeria. Usually my response is  shocked shocked.

And guess what his music also sold too
It's about tribe mate- i made it one like every bloody topic in here!  grin

The arrogant Yoruba boy had the ballz to say he is too busy for a collabo with the legendary Dr Alban!!,
can you imagine Danfo Drivers getting cold feet about a dance/club track??

Nonsense!

it's time we split up once and for all!!

Tribal bashing is part and parcel of Nairaland, it wont stop today nor very soon.
Its the reality of Nigeria life, more than 80% of Nigerians are tribalist.

In other international forum, ethnic / race bashing goes on. Learn to live with it.

If somebody bash your tribe, bash his tribe or bash any other tribe that suit your ego; otherwise log off.
Love this response, I wonder why people take thing personal like that
you cant even poke fun at some people they will start poking their eyes out!!

I cant believe some people are doubting YAK coming back from injury and playing regular-who still has about a year or so before the world cup! He should be fit before next year

You guys are actually including Kanu who is fit cant get regular games, definately past it,
they say David James needs 2 days rest after every game but Kanu needs a week
rest after every 20minutes as a sub!

Kanu should go but as a coach or one oft hose bloody committees the govt pay for!

onoja12:
i hate to bust your bubbles hot air balloons are already in Nigeria, theres a company in Abuja representing a Spanish company here in Nigeria they flied for PDP and INEC during the last election, also my former company which i worked for also ran the same service in Lagos,Kano and kaduna in which case i was the operations director,i must tell u first Nigerian wind is a problem secondly you going to have months of wait for approval from NCAA cause they dont have a frame work covering hot air balloon yet,so what they would do in the end is combine the frame work for telecommunication mast and planes which would at the end give you a limited flying radius and lost of flight bills.anyway wish you luck but you need very experienced hands and it not child play but one advertisement on your balloon and you would recover.
Hot air balloons exist but not for leisure activities, this is full scale recreational/tourism/advertisement

what's the name of this former company abi u dey lie for us?

according to what we are reading they deliberately turned the light off to enhance the lightworks?? sounds kinda funny considering it was a late match and the fireworks were clearly visible before the lights went off

any way let's celebrate and book hotels for South Africa 2010 in advance!
