Some are smiling to their various bank accounts from profit make on these souvenir. Even the so called "Area Boys" have their various clubs, to the extent that the Fuji singers do organize jump for either Arsenal or whatsocalled club to celebrate their victory. Politics › Re: Oprah's South African School, A Child Abuse Prison! by DisGuy: 1:02pm On Oct 30, 2007
it is a universal problem, but the fact that the society or the press refuse to talk about it or punish offenders thereby leaving female students at the mercy of randy lecturers where they are meant to be protected makes it worse!

there are several posts on this forum and other Nigeria websites; where female students are actually seeking advice on how to fend off randy lecturers. it even gets to the level where the students are accused of wearing 'revealing' tops and so on undecided

davidylan:
I don't think Yar Adua's problem is his consistent and boring harping on the "rule of law". He strikes me as a man who is at sea, he doesnt know what to do. He had no specific goals of how to run government; this was a man who was too sick to bother with a televised national debate and YET still won the elections - only in Nigeria.

What were his pre-election promises? For a man who obviously knew he would be (s)elected into office in April, why did it take him 2 months to set up a cabinet?
There are no specific ways to run Nigeria in my opinion.

The seven point agenda were his pre-election promise grin

It probably took him that long because they were to be nominated mainly by the party and their respective state governments, as you can see there no one is crying about marginalisation (not as much as before)

We as a people have the skills and the resources if we wanted to but DO WE REALLY WANT CHANGE?? or ARE WE JUST BETTER AT PLAYING THE BLAME GAME than ANYTHING ELSEhuh
I think this thread alone answers the question.

I think yaradua should stop respecting the 'rule of law' too much,
to get things done in a country like that, you have to be (a bit) autocratic!
Obasanjo (and a lot of leaders) actually got things done this way
the people including the governors still want to be held by the hands
they don't have their own mind

We've heard enough of his anti-corruption stance, the LG and state government should be made to drive that home!
It's about time people start holding the LG chairmen and state governors responsible for the conditions in their immediate environment

I think Gilberto had an operation before the season, just happen to be when Flamini was in form-i always thought he was italian for some reason undecided

I think Wenger should have played Hleb just behind Adebayorr in the last game, Da Silva is a bit invincible sometimes.

Steady Gilberto if fully fit should be played against Liverpool just in front of the back four to break up passes from Steven G and to pick up the second balls from their long passes.
