SoapQueen: Pay him no attention, if he can speak ill of his mother, how much more you? Imagine him calling you names.
Men with no respect for women. I have not come to judge anyone or to cast blame but before you are quick to condemn the op, I think you should try to empathize with him. This is someone in his early twenties. If the mom is 51 and voluntarily stopped a viable business 15years ago, it means she stopped at 36years while the op would be around 6-8years. Do you even consider the kind of childhood this boy would have had with the mom being the bread winner and deciding to quit her job? Who quits a job at 36 being the bread winner of the home with kids to train? This is the same boy who has also had to face the challenges of a polygamous home growing up, catering for the younger ones one way or the other while both parents are alive, having no steady place to call home when being moved from one place to another, forfeiting university education which he would have so much desired to have, etc. Whether we like it or not, resentment must have been built up over the years. Well op none of us truly know how you feel but one thing is certain, two wrongs don't make a right. If you feel any form of resentment you need to let it go and love her for who she is - YOUR MOTHER. Please also observe and be sure there's nothing wrong mentally. If there is, do not hesitate to seek medical attention. Lastly, always say a prayer for her and your entire household no matter how brief. There is nothing impossible with God. Thanks and stay blessed! |

TribesNG: Fool. Because most people do it doesn't mean all of them are doing it. Do not use one to judge the rest. Well i won't argue with you sha bcuz you've never paid your tithe before. How many of you are even practicing the 'Giving' FREEZE was talking about. You just stopped paying tithe and that's all. Fools You made a good point. Freewill and cheerful giving should be emphasised and practised. |

felixomor: You started with "I dont think"
Good. Your thoughts are not God's thoughts
Next! And take note, God has ordained pastors and teachers of the word to feed on offering and tithe just like the temple levites. Read 1st Corinthians 9.
1Cor 9:13 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
9:14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
Please remove tithe from there. |

Primesky: Tithing is a biblical command neither the prophets nor Jesus condemn or abolish it. Believers must be very careful this period because the devil too can quote and preach the Bible albeit upside down.
The truth we run away from and refuse to tell ourselves now because it doesn't sound or appear comfortable, we will voluntarily tell it before God someday, but it might be too late. Be wise and avoid anti-Christ doctrines. Stop being sentimental and read what is in the bible |

lonelydora: If Jesus was here on earth, he would have driven Bentley and have private jet. Jesus used a colt no one has ever driven on...that shows he wants the best for himself.
Many people argue that Abraham paid tithe once to Melchezedek. Remember Abraham paid tithe of 5 nations...Just imagine someone bringing tithe of America, Russia, China, Germany, and France or UK to you, will you allow him pay again? And moreover, he met Melchezedek once in his journey
See my brother, i don't subscribe to tithe cards...reason i don't pay tithe in any church that use cards. i also prefer to pay tithe in any church the pastor uses Bentley and PJ than one the Pastor uses keke or trek.
The earlier we stop using the World's system to apply in the Kingdom's system...the better for us.
One day i will teach Freeze what he does not know in the bible. I too busy to reply him for now.
You don't pay tithe...no wahala, but allow us to continue to pay..as long as it is working for me. Sorry to say but your line of argument is baseless especially the first paragraph. Are you trying to twist the bible to favour your argument? Why would Jesus have private jets? Even the colt you speak about wasn't owned by him |

felixomor: Oga, grace is not a modification of law Grace is a fulfillment of the law In all honesty, try to start studying the bible for yourself
Abraham tithed once because he came across Melchizedek once in his pilgrimage. Melchizedek priesthood was a very rare one And hard to come by
Today Christ is our Melchizedek (Psalm 110:4) If you pay tithe to the body of Christ wether once, monthly, yearly, God will not be angry We now have the body of Christ as Melchizedek continuously with us. So there is no excuse.
If you feel your local church isnt part of the body of Christ, then that's a different topic. Look for a bible believing church I think you are contradicting yourself |

Family › Re: Wife Introduction: My Mum Insists On Pregnancy First by djoe21(m): 9:31am On Jan 12, 2018 |
Zirah: His mum will cause his family problems irrespective of who he marries. That's who she is. Not all mothers are good. I see a controlling person here. Op is 36 but still afraid of his mother. Ask yourself why? How can you cut off an official gathering on the day it was to take off? It takes a mean person to do that. A person who doesn't have regard for anyone, who lacks love and compassion. Surely, you need to stay away from such people. We also need to ask op what his relationship with his mum is like cos he looks like a frightened little puppy, a result of constant bashing growing up, unhealthy relationship with his parents.
The essence of cutting her off is to shame the devil. And show his family that with or without them he will marry for love and have children. And when the time comes for celebration, they may do so with them or continue to be wicked. I know cutting off the engagement abruptly is not the best but based on the information provided by the op, I still do not think she is such a bad person as you are painting. She is only looking out for her son and trying to get the best from what she perceives could be a difficult situation |

Zirah: Guy, I have to tell you that you don't have a mother who loves you. She's mean and selfish. Calling off intro on the d-day. That's wicked and heartless. I hope your fiancee will see this as a red flag and stay off you cos even if you end up marrying her, your mum will still make life a living hell for her cos it's who she is.
Btw, I want to ask? Are you sure you're man enough for marriage? I don't understand why your mother dictates for you at your old age
My advice for you is to cut her off. Send money home only through bank transfer but cut off those who are against you for anyone who isn't with you is against you and should be cut off. Cut his mom off? What has she done to warrant that? Don't you think you are taking it too far? |

IDERAWOLE: Brother, pls get born again first, your fiancee's agreement to marry you in the first instance shows her salvation is in doubt.
Your people cannot understand what RCCG doctrine on marriage before pregnancy, if you truly love that ask her why did she agree to marry you when she knew you're not born again. She seems desperate to hook somebody because of her age, if not she won't be disobeying the word of God.
If you truly love the lady, get born again first, meet the church pastor or rep on marriage matters, God will sort out your parents fear. They love you more than that lady. How did you know he is not born again? Please I need to know too. |
