Octopusssy: If anyone believes this piece of crap, you'll believe anything. Roshina and mhizminna are one and the same, although I don't quite understand exactly why people keep pulling these stunts.
My best guess as to the 'why' question is ...attention. They are so starved of attention offline that they come online to enact their own Zeeworld.
Roshina/mhizminna, a piece of unsolicited but very needed advice- Next time make the akata write in more 'akatalised' English. It will make your whole drama more believable. I don't think that's the case. Here is what I think happened. dochenaj: Don't you get what is happening here?
The wife made the post, complaining about the husband, and the husband who the ex opines must have introduced the wife to Nairaland cos he also introduced her to the forum, found out about the post.
He most likely has an access to the wife's account and comes in and sees how he has been exposed by his countrymen.
He is irrate and starts commenting as the wife, dissing guys who suggested he was either a cheat or a scammer but commending those who stated the wife was being jealous and insecure.
The tone of the initial post and these recent responses are not the same.
Now all we can do is pity the innocent woman who was made to believe she was loved.
Unfortunately this philandering man doesn't know that we reap whatever we sow. |

oz4real83: There was an islamic thread about two weeks ago addressing Christians. It was very annoying when I realised that I wasn't able to respond because u must take the islamic vow to make your comment. How can a Muslim be talking about Christians, addressing Christians but Christians can't respond because of this same islamic oath? If they are discussing purely islamic issues,I don't have any issues with that but as far as it is addressed to Christians, this islamic oath must be excluded to allow non islamic views and responses. Exactly, there should also be a Christian thread for Christians. And any commenter should assent to the Apostle's Creed before commenting. Except Nairaland should be for Muslims alone. |

Mizwisdom: If you have atheists in your family, you must pray without seizing, they are like virus, it's either you find a way of eradicating them through ceaseless prayers or they'll continue attacking you to steal your soul for satan. Pray for atheists While an atheist might be at the far end of the spectrum, but a church going sinner has the same eternal fate as him. So prayer should not be for only atheist but for all members of your family that have not come to experience the saving power of Jesus from sin. Sin is the disease that will ruin both the atheist and the church goer. |

czarina: You have to understand that cancer is a very complex ailment. Benign breast tumors like fibroadenoma, breast calcifications and a host of others may not be diagnosed as cancer because in truth, they aren't exactly malignancies. Yes, even with the most invasive biopsies. But all of that can change in just weeks. A patient's supposedly benign tumor could at the next exam become a stage four ductal invasive cancer. I've seen it happen a lot of times. Now, I'm not saying it was what happened with Clara but it's a possibility. Are you a doctor? |

It appears suicide is gaining traction and it would not be surprising if suicide beats accidents and become the most common cause of death in Nigeria. This is something, that should spur the Minister of Health to make plans towards establishing a 24 hour Suicide Help Line. But would he? I used to think that Nigerians were the most formidable set of people in their minds, such that suicide was never going to be an issue, in the words of my Delta friend Newbreed "I don see 100, no be 99". But I guess we were both wrong. This is must be 101. I'll advise parents to start training their children and build a little pessimism into them. |

dominique: I don't like the way the poster made it look as if getting married was some form of achievement for the woman. It's a good thing to get married but don't make it look as if your existence is validated by getting a ring. Meanwhile, some of these men that marry single mothers with daughters are closeted paedophiles (see the way that one is holding his stepdaughter hip in the 3rd photo). They marry such women to gain easy access to their daughters knowing that the women are desperate to keep their marriage and will most likely look the other way while they molest the little girls. I have a lot of respect and admiration for single mums but most of them end up marrying losers in a desperate bid to become Mrs. You saw that too. But the man and the girl look very much alike. He could be her father after all. What do you think? |

If you’ve lived in abroad before or even worked as an IGM guy before who interact with this Oyibos 1 on 1 on daily basis, you will know that abroad is not an eldorado you think it is. You might be earning big but what you’re able to save nor invest at the end of say 10-20 years is all that matters. Anyone earning 1M or even 500k per month in Nigeria has a brighter prospects of being a serous wealthy man in 10-20 years time compared to his peers in abroad unless he/she is a bad planner/bad manager of resources. Unless you have lived abroad and have credentials to back that up. You have no business making this comment. |

I can't leave this country to go slave in another mans land. A quick question, have you travelled out of the country before? Secondly, there can never be absolute security anywhere. So making that a point is senseless. The question is relative security. What is the degree of security in the Western society as compared to Nigeria? lastmessenger: have you heard of gun violence in the western world? There are evil everywhere bro. Nothing will make me leave this country if I earn 1million monthly What is the frequency of the "gun violence" and what's the casualty count. You can't just hear, "there is gun violence in the US" and without knowing the statistics, you jump off, comparing it to Nigeria's insecurity issues. Everyday in Nigeria, countless number of people are killed by armed robbers, kidnappers, security agencies. Yesterday my brother told me about a secondary school mate of his, while returning in the evening, he was waylaid by armed robbers and for resisting they shot him in the abdomen, he was rushed to a hospital but they couldn't find a matching blood for him, and he bled to death (what a painful way to die). The same yesterday a colleague going to Portharcourt and he was blocked by armed robbers/kidnappers he tried reversing the vehicle but he couldn't escape and these sons of Belial riddled his body with bullets and hacked him with axe, the only surviving son of his mother who it was said suffered stroke a while back. The rest of the passengers they kidnapped for ransom. The story of Nigerian's insecurity is a sad tale, and nothing short of horror movie. What about the insecurity in the North, that is another epistle. |

I personally know three people who relocated to the US but are now dead from heart failure, stroke due to the diet and stress of living in Western country. Keep thinking people live forever in oyinbo countries. Nobody can say or imply that people live forever in the US, because man must die eventually. But the question is about how and when you die. In Nigeria, things that wouldn't kill people in the US with their advance in healthcare delivery kill thousands on regular basis. There is no wonder, our life expectancy is very much more lower than theirs. |

All he needs to do is to invest well or start up his own company. Your own level of ignorance is stark. Did you read the part of his writeup about insecurity? No matter how much money you have, you will still be exposed to the gross insecurity inherent in our society and be plagued by anxiety over the gross inexperience of our security agencies. What about our deplorable healthcare. Do you know the number of people who have died because the best medical facilities in Nigeria could not handle their case but rather referred them abroad? In Nigeria, if you're not rich enough to have special security details like politicians but you're rich, then you only became a sitting duck for kidnappers. |
