The current law provides for a five year jail term for any child under 18 who is molested by an adult.

What the new law does is it makes it life imprisonment for anyone caught molesting an underage child who is under 11 years of age. For those who are between 11-18 years...the punishment remains 5 years in jail.

As to enforcement...that's another story.

Anyways, it's best I keep quiet. It's really hard to ignore 12, 13,14 year old kids, but it's all good.

Why does the law only applies to under 11? Why can't they extend the law to under 15 or 16(Bad enough) or prefferably 17/18? Is it that you guys can't control weird urge?

Seriously, I am outraged. The sooner Nigeria separate the better it will be for everyone. I remember 4-5 Northerners on nl denying the attacks of extemists on christian/southerners in the Northern region, but instead justifying it with an excuse.
