We know he's a big boy. But you are not big enough until u start impacting the lives of others.
Well said, thats what people 4get. Listen to what Tony Emelulu said "There is a time in a man´s life when he not just looks for what or how he earns money but also looks for what legacies he would leave behind after he is gone". So I completely agree you when you say that one is only big when one starts impacting the lives of others.

Adewummy007: Surgeon-General should not be confused with General surgeon.
In the United States and many areas of British Commonwealth, the title of Surgeon General refers to a physician commissioned by the government and entrusted with public health responsibilities.
The Surgeon-General (SG) is the senior medical officer of the British Armed Forces
The Surgeon General of the United States is the operational head of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (PHSCC) and thus the leading spokesperson on matters of public health in the federal government of the United States. The Surgeon General's office and staff are known as the Office of the Surgeon General (OSG). The U.S. Surgeon General is nominated by the President of the United States and confirmed by a majority vote of the Senate. SG is the senior or second-highest ranking uniformed officer of the PHSCC, holding the rank of a vice admiral.
And Medical Doctors in the Nigeria military are referred to as Surgeon e.g Surgeon Lieutenant, Surgeon Captain, Surgeon General. FG should always consult stakeholders before concluding.
clearly shows the physiotherapist don´t even know what they are fighting against. I don´t see how the office of the surgeon general can affect or enslave their activities. The surgeon general´s office can´t restrict their activities, neither can that office ban their organisation from functioning.

gratiaeo: Some of the names on the hit list are walking copses. Why would anyone want to waste bullets on dead people. The APC is wasting our time with these reckless accusations that only exist in their knuckle heads. With a year to go before the presidential elections all the APC has done is tell Nigerians about a killer squad and a hit list. We need to see their list of economists who will correct the economic situation in Nigeria after the election. A foreign policy team that will improve our image around the world and give foreign investors the confidence they need to invest. A national security team that will research our security challenges and design ways to end the assault on lives and property around the nation. How can they form a government if all they do is speculate. Tell Nigerians how you intend to govern; The mission statement, the vision of the new government. It is not enough for you to tell Nigerians that GEJ is after you because assuming that all those on the list are executed(wishful thinking) the party should continue on their ideology and stated mission. This idea that Nigerians will vote for you in sympathy because of some wild accusation. that PDP is after you is not only childish but stupid. The more the APC talks the more Nigerians believe that they have nothing to offer. At this point the safest bet for Nigerians is the PDP and not the gamble called the APC.

This is the same mistake they made during Anambra election
then again we all know there are no such lists anywhere. these old men are just searching for something they would use to acquire sympathy from Nigerians

addicted268: I read every single word in the letter,I also read every single reply.so far,I think this is the most sensible.the common masses are killing themselves along ethnic and religious divides based on propaganda fed them by the politicians.in the end, they are in it for their personal interests.like you rightly said, when its time to share the money,it becomes a clique affair.
The earlier the masses realize that the struggle shouldn't be about tribes, regions or religion, the better for us.the earlier the masses realize that the struggle should be about Nigerians uniting as one(irrespective of region, religion or even party affiliations) and demanding accountability from PAST and PRESENT leaders, the better for us.sadly,I don't see this happening.

crossover: Bar. Keyamo, I can read your handwriting very clearly. What is evidently obvious to me is that; the reasons for starting 'this war' will be less cogent than what will be needed for peace to return.
Once upon a time; Gadhafi, Saddam, and many others like them all thought that there would be no end to their imprudence. Only time will tell in what way will be the consequence of this our self-induced psychosis.
I completely agree. Funny enof 6 months ago I never imagined it could ever be possible but am slowly seeing smokes everywhere and we all know fire follows smokes. What troubles men of good will is the casaulities of such an event when it finally happens. We all know non of our presne politicians would be in the country when it explodes into flames so who and what would u be fighting for? That is what every person has to ask himself b4 he signs into what he would regret. U should also ask urself who and which groups come on top after, how long it will last and where the most casualitis would come from. I say this cos Igbo have already lost 1 million sons and daughters about 25 years ago in a useless and senseless war so am sure they won´t have a stomach for a repeat unless it will liberate our region from this present fallacy of a country called Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To Jonathan: Asari Dokubo Replies Obasanjo by drnoel:
Lordlexyy: Never take it to heart what any corrupt, selfcentred, self imposed leader said. Nigeria isn't a creation of any British govt, but was divinely positioned orchestrated by the British govt as a regional and world power. Remember that every good conception attracts its challenges, that is the phase we are passing through. Very soon, all these noise makers and their selfish clannishness fade away, and the all powerful, productive, prosperious Nigeria will emerge. But it calls for prayer and being positive towards the country.
How right u are to say any action demands a reaction but then don´t 4get Nigerians seem too slow to act cos they should have acted during the intial tenure of OBJ as head of state. They should have acted when IBB and Abachia were looting the treasury. They should have acted when June 12 was annulled. After all how many citizens can they kill? They should have acted when OBJ was imposed on the masses, they should have acted when PDP imposed the Yaraudua/GEJ. No matter how much GEJ is hated he is still the best president Nigeria has so far had and we have our history books to refer back to, if u don´t believe that but still he came in as an opportunist when the country badly needed to move forward. That say, we also know no polliticians ever has the people in mind, we also know they all have only their selfish interest at heart but then the fact remain the facts and they are: When truth is told it smells rather very bad, when truth is told it makes holier than holy people´s xteracters get destroyed, when truth is told men and women of good faith listen and learrn cos the sins of today can hurt u tomorrow. Nigeria is at that point where sins of yesterday are still hurting us and we still don´t know how best to tackle them. The fear of many men of good will is that the Tsunami that may wash over Nigeria, if and when it happens may take a lot more lives than it was worth 2 fight 4, especially if the wrong people like OBJ and their cronies are put again in power.

geeez: Is this a response to OBJ's letter or an attempt to settle a score?

But how can Asari say OBJ impoverished the ND?

He increased derivation to 13% and has remained so ever since

He created the NDDC and Ministry of the Niger Delta and no other institution or parastatal has been formed with respect to the ND after that

I'm sure we've not heard the last of this
Whatever the reason it was well read and received. Let us see more of such cos the truth slowly comes out like this and as the wind blows the nyash of the fowl will be revealed. It is slowly getting to the time when people of honesty and good faith will stand up agaisnt what is happening in Nigeria and say "No, enof is enof". We are here seeing what is happening and God is watching.

isi4: Speaker of house of representative, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, Senator Bukola Saraki and some other lawmakers shunned the entreaties by the senate president, David Mark, insisting that there was no going back in their decision to move into APC.

Tambuwal and Saraki were reported to have stated that they had gone too deep with APC to backpedal at this point in time while Abbe was quoted to have said that any attempt for him to remain in PDP henceforth would be tantamount to betrayal of Governor of Rivers State, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, his political benefactor.

The Senate President, Davis Mark has been hired by President Goodluck Jonathan to help plead with aggrieved federal lawmakers of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP who where bent on defecting to the Opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.

It was gathered that despite obvious frustrations in handling the assignment from the Presidency, Mark continued consultation with the aggrieved members of the National Assembly even on the first day of the New Year yesterday.

One of the lawmakers from the South/South geopolitical zone confirmed to National Mirror in a telephone interview yesterday that Mark is meeting with his colleagues on behalf of the Presidency on the way forward over the protracted crisis bedevilling the ruling party.

Woged2005: Kind of annoying that serious people will come to family section (meant for people with real family experience) to seek real advice and a bunch of kids who should be on career, sports and entertainment sections will jump in with childish comments simply because they have phones that can browse...

@OP relationship and marriage is for two. Only male chauvinists (Same men who marry teenagers simply bc they want to dis-virgin a girl) who have no emotions and true love/feeling for a female partner will believe that a legitimate wife or partner who initiated sex is wayward. I wouldn't marry such a man with such a 18 century ideologies.

step 1. Set the mood by avoiding any arguments and confrontations or anything that may create negative energy in ur house. Just be nice all day. Serve him a light food so he doesn't feel heavy and sleep off.
step 2. Dress in his most favorite wear, especially the ones he bought for u (he bought them because he loves to see u in them)
step 3. Start a very easy discussion especially on a topic he enjoys most (I assume u know ur husband's interest).
step 4. Admire and compliment him as he air's his ideas with words like "that's why I love you..", "I like the way u handle matters ", "Thank God I married u"....etc). Men like to feel like kings and in in control.
step 5. Slow caressing touches at the right places is everything while resting on his laps or chest, take it slowly, looking into his face and draw a very long french kiss. Sustain it with short bouts of kisses, perks, etc.
step 6. Let the caressing pre-intimacy and romance begin...and sustain it when he takes over.

Note: Remember intimacy is not always about s.ex. Just enjoy the moment even if it did not end up in s.ex. Argument is a romance/ relationship killer.

All the luck
To the highlighted, not all men like to feel like kings. She should just do and say things he likes thats all. I agree with rest of ur comments

But to me I feel bringing uncivilized pple from d village is bad cos all they think abt is sex. I don't really blame my parents for not bin around but I blame them for not asking about my life. For example as a parent wen you come bck from work I knw u r very tired but always talk to ur children it helps a lot. Dis affect my relationship now cos all I feel men want is sex.
Wat u say is true. I know a family of 11 where all their boys (7) were all seduced by their house girls when they were children and all of them are now not faithful in their marriages.

heavy g: Good day all.

I started dating her in 09. I began talking marriage late 2010. I even broached the topic of her getting pregnant for me.

We had a bad fight January '11. We were trying to patch things up slowly when sometime around April we got talking on phone. I made a statement and then She told me She can Never marry me.

Since that day till this moment, She stopped taking my calls, She cut off all Contact. All efforts to reach her were met with silence.

I decided to move on.

But after some relationships, I realised I needed her back. I traced someone whom I felt could plead with her. This person wouldn't give me any info about her But I deduced from our conversation that my ex girlfriend was still single.

But what surprises me is the fact that at her age, She prefers to remain single than to come back to me. She doesnt even want to hear anything about me. This is a girl I loved so much. Am I so bad? This is 2014 and I need to get settled. I might just go for the available one, Since the desired is unavailable.
why don´t u meet her one to one, face to face and put ur questions to her. If she still gives u negatives then go for the under dersired. But remember that no matter how u try to make such work, under desired rarely turns out to be desired and u may later regret not being patient
