The final burial of Mrs. Elizabeth Chinyere Amaechi, the mother-in-law of Dr. Godwin Maduka, a Nigerian US-based medical doctor has come and gone but the beautiful memories it created will linger for a long time.

Dr. Maduka a former governoship candidate in Anambra State in 2021 had recently returned from abroad to give the mother of his wife who died at the age of 77 a befitting burial.

It was a total shut down on Saturday, Oct 15 as people from all works of life trooped to Isiala Mbano LGA of the state to pay their last respect to mama Elizabeth who was extolled for her sound Christian life and peaceful living with all.

Maduka a renowned philanthropist had stormed the Imo community with retinue of friends, associates and allies who had come to identify with him at his period of grief.

Speaking at the burial ceremony, Dr. Maduka extolled the selflessness of Mrs. Elizabeth and her life of sacrifices for which she stood out in the community.

He said in the past 25 years he has known the late Elizabeth, she has remained an epitome of virtuous woman whose desire to touch the lives of others is worth emulating.

He said the late mother-in-law will be greatly missed especially her divine intercession as a prayer warrior and her words of wisdom in trouble moments.

While saying that the late Elizabeth is a mother in law everyone would wish to have, Dr. Maduka called on her children to emulate her and sustain her virtues of love, sacrifice, truth and fearlessness.

The billionaire medical doctor also pledged to complete an ongoing project expected to serve as home for Catholic Priests in the community In memory of the late Mother inlaw.

Thanksgiving service for the life and time of Mrs. Elizabeth was held on Sunday.

Met this guy the day I went for a show. He requested for my number which I didn't hesitate to give so as to discharge him.
Few weeks later, he requested for my family's digits so as to keep in touch with my people.
On that account, I made it known to him that I have no intentions of dating or taking things personal with him (which he ignored).

I had a business call around his location and I needed where to stay. He told me he has someone who I can rent an apartment from and he equally has a bigger business opportunity for me.
I didn't hesitate to take the offer so long I won't be staying over at his place but, see the apartment and leave same day. Note, I have a work I'm into already so, I didn't want to inconvenience myself.

On getting to his place, I was happy his family were still very much around.
Which he later took me to the room where I'll be staying for the night (yes, I wasn't able to go back same day. The love from his family was massive).
Long story cut short,
I got raped that very night even with his family members around. Kept screaming, fighting and knocking but, no help came. It seemed like it was all a plan or the room was probably sound proofed (he said no one will hear me no matter how loud I screamed).

Now, after the whole incident, I decided I wasn't going to stay. This guy locked the door, seized the keys, saw me operating my phone and seized my phone.
So, I can say I was held hostage after being violated.
When I told him I was going to sue him, he told me he himself is a lawyer and he can win the case no matter where I carry it to.
First, I was at his place when the incident happened and that alone can dissolve the case.
I am his girlfriend whom he invited to his place that's obviously trying to frame him.
We are family friends so, why would he hurt me.
I don't have any concrete evidence as he kept speaking native Language (Yoruba), knowing fully well that I don't understand it.


Ladies, I know my story might not be all that helpful but, try to be careful. Nigerian men now use the term come over as a guise to get into your pants either you want it willingly or not. You'll probably just rant about it cause they won't give you any chances of getting a concrete evidence. Especially over texts and calls.

Get your recorders, keep your cameras close enough, report to any NGO's and most importantly, your NO means NO.
No one should guilt trip you. As for the guy, I'll still hunt him (Glad I have a minute recording of him just before he snatched my phone away).

It happened in June this year, he deserted, tried calling him it was unreachable, His family and the police didn't help either.

I got the idea of complaining to his bank, I went to his bank on August (Access bank) they asked me why I didn't come all these while that he withdrew the last part of the money 4 days before I came!!! E pain me shaa o

The customer care directed me to court to get a court order to restrict the account, I went to court, got the court order(pics displayed) paid them 10% of the total money. The bank restricted his account.

Yesterday afternoon, I got a call to come over to the bank...the guy was trying to make a transfer but he couldn't which warranted him to go to the bank...
The customer care told me he has 80% of the money in his account that with my consent, they'll unfreeze it and pay me or I can wait till it's complete and take all... they were certain because it's a salary account... money must enter.

Though the guy pleaded with me to be paying 20k monthly buy omooorr I don't think I'll have such patience. The bank told him to be paying the 20k into his account till it completes.

Due to work, my husband and I live in states, and my husband lives in Canada. 3 months ago we had some serious skirmishes during our phone conversation and in the heat of the argument, I told him that he does not appreciate the fact that I am raising the kids and doing everything alone.

To my disappointment, he told me that he is overworked more than me. This really angered me. This got me angry and I hung up. Although He tried to reach me for 4 days, and also sent me some messages, I cut him off without replying, about 9 weeks later, I sent him just a message on an unrelated issue, he ignored my message, after another month, I sent him another message, he also ignored. It has been 3 months now we have not spoken to each other.

Recently my brother had a baby, and he only called once to congratulate them. Moreover my younger sister got admission to a university to study the same course that my husband studied, so naturally, my sister contacted him. My sister said he advised her on what to do and what she should expect. This was about 2 months ago. I personally did not inform him about my sister’s admission myself.

After about one month, my sister also called him for more information, but he has not been picking my sister’s call.

My sisters fiancee also called him to inform him about their upcoming marriage (my same sister that got the admission) he only spoke with my sister and her fiancee once, he stopped further communication with them on both issues of admission and marriage, and that he only spoke with them the first time about the admission and the marriage out of the respect he has for them.

He gave my sister the excuse that it was not proper, for him to speak with her fiancee' because he said that I have not told him anything about the marriage, therefore he can not relate further with my sister as per the marriage. And that it was out of respect that he even called my sister initially to advice her.

The simple reason is, she doesn't love you bro. She married you only because she had no other option at the time. Know this that a woman will break all rules, raise hell if she has to, to have sex with a man she likes. If she's constantly giving you excuses for an extended period of time, or making demands before she allows you in, it means you're sexually unattractive to her bro, she settled for you.

Women will tell you to continue treating her right, talk things out with her etc. But it never works, trust me. If your wife settled for you, she'll deny you sex and use it to control you. When she needs a new handbag that is very expensive, she'll deny you sex and wait for you to buy it for her first before she allows you in.
