The positive thing is that they are able to earn well. I met one that was working in first bank back in Nigeria and earning about 120k a month. Now she earns a little over 3.5k canadian dollars on the average working customer service after a lot of overtime. She is always stressed out sha. 3.5k is about 980k.

Group Says no to monetary inducement of delegates, endorses osinbajo as consensus candidate

Legacy Transformation Initiative, a policy formulation and analysis hub has lamented inducement of delegates by Nigerian politicians as seen in the just concluded primary election held by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.

The non-partisan group which made this known in a statement signed by Ibe Aniemeke Lawson, its national coordinator was appreciative of Nigerian youths for the non-violent atmosphere during the primary elections processes.

It is also called on the ruling the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) not to toe the path of the PDP. It said it will be a stain on the reputation of the party of its delegates are induced monetarily as it was in the case of the opposition party.

Going further, the group admonished Nigerian leaders over the non inclusion of the youths in the electoral process despite the enacted law backing it.

The group urged politicians to adopt and initiate pragmatic frameworks and activities that will encourage and incentivize the youths to politics.

Part of the statement read: "One of such ways is to deliberately as a matter of necessity re-engineer our leadership recruitment process. Of immediate attention is the need to demonetise the methods for delegate selection or nomination through the adoption of stringent guidelines that emphasize on the strength of character, experience and leadership qualities of candidates to inform the choice of delegate in choosing party’s flag bearers.

Only when this is entrenched as a party culture can the youths and credible people aspire and eventually emerge to represent the mass of us.

This is particularly worrisome, with several reports that made the rounds of the charade and open market bidding processes that allegedly characterized the opposition PDP Presidential Congress. This was reinforced as expressed and captured by one of the PDP Presidential aspirants, Dr Hayatu deen (a seasoned banker)- who had to step down on account of the over monetization of the process.

"Thirdly, accordingly, we prescribed that the “it is time” the ruling party (APC) is offered a golden opportunity come 6th -7th June 2022 to assuage the traumatized Nigerians- especially our teeming youths who saw that infamy perpetrated by the PDP by correcting the wrongs. A man who is evidently and manifestly is NOT a money bag, a pious and prudent character that his profile set him apart from other contenders and whose aspirations resonates with the youths and mass of Nigerians; as well as the international community. We must emphasize with all sense of conviction that the APC will endear itself to Nigerians, heartily and boldly adjudge itself as truly "progressive" as the appellation which it claims if they elect to do this.

Equally, by seizing the onerous opportunity of adopting or overwhelmingly/unanimously electing Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (GCON) the APC delegates/leadership would deliberately with all sense of patriotism avert the strain on the Naira and the correlating inflationary impact on the Nigeria economy a second tortious pull of the strong dollar against a weak naira at this time. We are afraid to note and conclude that if the APC fails to seize this moment nor neglects to react to the PDP's primary election debacle and the reputation it has infamously earned by doing something different, Nigerians may continue in the erroneous classification that all the parties are only different between six and half a dozen.

Lastly, dear patriotic APC delegates and party chieftain, It Is Time as history beckons as you all stand to be counted. All Nigerians present and future hopes lies in your hands to choose PYO for a greater and prosperous Nigeria for all of us.

My entire family which includes my brothers' wives and their kids and my sisters' families was once a peaceful and an enviable large family but right now, the devil wants to destroy the family through our wives.

My wife and my younger brother's wife who were once greatest friends are now mortal enemies, they don't talk nor regard themselves as humans, this enmity has lingered for long despite me and my brother's efforts and that of my entire family, both extended, to resolve the issues between them, over the years but all to no avail.

Obim, My wife is actually the cause of the whole drama,
She accused my brother's wife of having extramarital affair with me due to how close I was with her as a result of the love they(my wife and her) had for each other. It lead to a very heated quarrelling and the lady vowed never to forgive my wife in her life time and my wife whole heartedly accepted the conquest. Obim said if that will keep her away from me that it's a welcome development.

Now, how it's affecting my family is that my kids no longer go on vacation to their place likewise their kids no longer come over to my house during vacation and many more troubles it has caused my entire family.
Initially, My brother understood that it was one of the wahalas associated with women but I'm surprised and confused about his recent change in attitude.

A governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, Senator Shehu Sani, on Thursday disclosed that though he got two votes during the governorship primary in the state, over 300 delegates have called, claiming that they voted for him.

Senator Sani, it would be recalled, had said he would not give money to any delegate during the primary and when the primary was held, while Honourable Isa Ashiru, who won the election, polled 4i4 votes, Senator Sani however polled two votes.

According to the announced result, Ashiru had 414 votes, Sani Sidi polled 260 votes, Ramalan Yero had 28 votes, Sani Abass got 15 votes, Haruna Kajuru had 11 votes, while Shehu Sani had two votes.

Believe me no Judge would issue you an adoption order without the consent of the father knowing fully well that the father of the child is alive.

I don't know adoption proceedings but I know people that adopted children and the child's father is still alive. I believe you just have to prove that the father has been away since birth and wants no contact with the child

Having said that, truth is women are emotional and have the tendency to be bais when telling a story. I doubt if you can legally adopt the child without the fathers consent.

With all the info you've given, then it's best you remain in Nigeria, because it'd take a number of years to get that big boy lifestyle you're enjoying in Nigeria abroad. If you're going with 4kids, the cost of child care is going to be significantly higher that whatever it is you're paying in Nigeria at present.
Yes, though the student route is easiest, not all translate to permanent residency after school, so that level of uncertainty is there. You must open your mind to the possibility of packing sh*t, mopping floors, and doing other manual labour, you wouldn't have a choice anyways, esp with 4kids, moreso, with your limited number of work hours as a student, things will be initially rough, and madam will need to hustle too to balance the equation.
If you're ready to bend and endure the temporary pains though, there may be light at the end of the tunnel.
PS: Before they deceive you that they're earning 2Million in a month, ask them what their tax, rent and insurance etc is first.

Student route never translate to permanent residence automatically. Person has to work and pay tax for few years before residency status changes.
Plus those screaming 2 M should convert it with current exchange rate (I mean black market) and you will see it's almost nothing. Ofcos the question would be is it 2M before or after tax.
